Mediterranean dinner at Chef and Manager in Newtownards near Belfast. It is one of those places that do not exist on IG, yet known to locals and is always fully packed. We were so lucky to have got recommended it and to actually manage to get a table on a Friday! The food was exquisite, the flavours, the presentation, the staff, everything was done with extra care. One of those places when you feel the owners take it upon themselves to ensure you enjoy every detail. . What you see here is duck breast, so tender! Laid on some veggies, and a selection of sauces. Each of them takes you on a different journey. Second main was a rack of lamb (mint crusted), it had a charcoal flavour and the taste was complemented by Mediterranean veggies. Both dishes came with potato gratin. . For starters, we had beans soup and goat cheese fritters with beetroot and bread. I was so tempted to go there again during out short visit

I went to Chef and Manager and ordered Sirloin and chips. All locally sourced. Food was excellent but had to wait very, very long time for one bottle of peroni when it should be only a matter of a minute from the fridge to the table. A 2nd request was made but again they forgotten which I had to ask the third time at which point the staff said "oh you didnt receive the beer?" I said no i didnt otherwise i wouldn't have asked for a 3rd time. I assume the staff completely forgot.

Great venue, ambiance and staff. Had the soup, sirloin steak and Vanilla desert. Steak was a bit over cooked and not a great cut (hence 4 and not 5 stars) but the rest were great. Service was brilliant.

First visit and impressed by the layout of the restaurant and its ambiance. Good selection of starters and mains. While my food order was tasty it could have been warmer ... and being served on a cold plate didn't help.

Food outstanding, service top notch. Had the monk fish, wife had the steak and I fully recommend a visit, a hidden gem in Newtownards. Will be back William and Sasha.

Lovely restaurant with a classy vibe. The staff were so lovely and attentive. We were seated quickly and checked on often. The food was delicious and we'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend for a date night or a family night out.

Had to send my food back twice as I had asked for medium to well done, and it came out rare on both occasions. The staff were lovely and they took the price of my meal off the bill. I came away hungry as I was put off my food. I was so disappointed as my daughter bought me a voucher for Christmas and I might as well threw it in the bin.

The service was very on point, no waiting or asking for anything. The food was something else altogether. We ordered the garlic mushrooms as a starter and they where delicious. We then got the fillet as a main and asked for it med to rare and it just melted in your mouth it was that perfect. The desert was amazing the raspberry and chocolate cake. The atmosphere was so relaxing and enjoyable it was honestly then best Saturday night as a couple. Then again anytime I have been there it has been great.

First time trying here and very impressed. Food was delightful and staff were exceptional.

Had great lunch today New Years Eve. Scallops to start and then Sea bass. Beautifully cooked and excellent value. Recommend and will be back.

Lovely place, friendly staff, food beautiful! A group of 7 of us had lunch here and all enjoyed the food only 1 small issue was the dessert menu was a bit odd not one of us had dessert even tho we all got menus and where gonna get dessert but there was nothing to any of our liking we ended up opting for hot chocolate instead would defo eat here again.

Had Sunday dinner with our family. Excellent. Great for children. Lovely roast loin of lamb. Good service.

Excellent meal in relaxed and calm setting. Clear evidence of covid measures in place with reduced covers and additional cleaning. The fillet steak was amazing, as was the Sütlaç!

Group of 6 and we all had a very enjoyable time . Service and hospitality was perfect and the food was amazing. Attention to detail was first class and we would definitely recommend

I have recently visited, with my family, and then again on Wednesday for my birthday with friends. Can't thank all the staff enough, for their fantastic service. The food is just wonderful, each meal beautifully presented. Would highly recommend a visit.
