First visit in several years. We able to get a table upstairs reasonably quickly and the order was taken by a helpful and friendly young lady. However, the Chicken Supreme which two of us had ordered when served didn't look like what we had expected. Having started to eat we were, hindsight, too polite to send it back. It was more like chicken chunks with a pepper sauce served with chips. Disappointed!

Great fish and chips

First time in this chippy very clean quick service by very pleasant staff. The fish and chips where piping hot even tho we drove several minutes to stop and eat them. Lovely cooked fresh Cod big hot Chips. The gravy was nice. Definitely a new customer. Will call again. Well done. Thank you.

Usually this would have been an easy five stars but this latest visit was disappointing. The fish bites were encased in a thick stodgy batter, my friend ended up peeling it off and leaving it on the side of the plate. The chips looked as though they were yesterdays and had been reheated. My meal was scampi and it was up to Lynn's usual excellent quality. Service was excellent as usual. So why the 3 stars? Well 1 was taken off for the disappointing food but the other is more subjective and possibly something that cannot be rectified. There was no atmosphere, staff stood in silence in the cooking area, there none of the workplace banter and laughter which always makes me smile and think that this is a good place to work. Usually there is a lot of chatter from the tables but this evening it was order, eat, leave. I will take this visit as an aberration and still go back to Lynn's and recommend it and hopefully it will be back to its best next time.

Great quality food with large portions. I recommend the gravy. It's to die for.

Excellent fish and chips in a traditional stylee. The only thing knocking a star off for me is that the sit in part is cold. There's a door straight in off the street and, being popular, and hence busy, the door is rarely closed, which makes it cold. But really good grub, really really good.

Busy place and the food was slow to come but worth it!! Nicest coybow supper ever and I'm a fussy pain in the neck!!

Came here with my dad aunt and uncle for the first time today. Food was beautiful. They where very impressed with the cod, I loved the fry. Nice friendly staff. Would highly recommend

Slower than normal service I'd suggest, however, because I called over tea-time, that can be forgiven. Friendly server. Order correct, with delicious home-made chippy pasties, decent chips and 'chinese style' curry sauce. All-in-all a tasty wee 'chippy tea' 👍

Got too expensive for delivery £3 for half a mile up the road due to using Uber Eats I refuse to order from companies that use this rip of service anymore

Good food would order from there again sometime. Odd that they wrap their food up in so many sheets of paper.

It was very busy so maybe they were to rushed the automatic door keeps opening when someone in the street walks past very drafty the pasties are top class

Love their food as always. Its rare to get a negative experience out of this place, and although I have had 1 or 2 bad experiences over the years, you just let them know what was wrong last time and they are quite understanding and apologetic. The place however could do with a makeover, my parents and friends have often said that it feels like sitting in a bus shelter, and I do agree, it could be better. Sometimes the table and chair layouts could be better, the place is often breezy and can be crowded. Another piece of constructive criticism I could give them, is to go a little easier on cooking the batter. It can sometimes feel like trying to chew on gravel. I miss their old batter that had a nice soft crunch to it but also felt a little soft. That was the best batter. Sometimes their portion sizes aren't the same as others. For example, me and my brother ordered 2 fish suppers. They came in the typical meal boxes you'd get from a chippy. But when we both opened up the boxes, I had a noticable more amount of chips in mine than my brother did. This isn't the first time this has happened. But OVERALL... Their food is mostly nice, the place/surroundings could be better, the staff are often friendly and helpful.

A nice wee chippy with delicious chips, gravy, chicken burgers, pasties and I am sure a lot more - been here 5-6 times so far and always tasty.

Definitely the best chippy in Ards , the staff are very pleasant and friendly , the food is always excellent, and very well priced
