A very good IPA, nachos and 5 chicken wings for under a tenner. Pleasant service on a quiet Tuesday evening

This place is good value for money although the prices have gone up a bit. Food is out super fast. No need to wait longer than ten minutes!! Very friendly and lovely staff. They have an outside area for smokers and non smokers. They have outside tables and at the very rear outside there's a covered area if it's raining. The best value for coffee and its a really good coffee machine. Pay £1.20 for a cup and fill your boots with it all day. Free top ups. AMAZING VALUE!

It's the spoons what can I say but cheap drink and a good feed,nice clean and friendly helpful staff,I'll be back many more times.

Ordered 2 8oz gourmet steak meals One steak rare one steak medium. Both were grissley chewy. We chewed the meat for flavour but most of it was left on plate. Jacket potatoes were fine. Tomato got only a glimpse of the grill and was not grilled. Salad mediocre but salad dressing was unusable. No olive oil dressing for salad as an alternative to the dressing. We frequent Wetherspoons quite often for food but will never order gourmet steak dinners again. We often go to the Curry nights but quality is hit and miss. No consistency - may be chef or particular Wetherspoons branch.

Had a burger and chips, paid nearly £2 extra for that dip. The bap was stale and the meat was tiny. Wouldn't buy again, barely filled a hole

Always have a great meal here I have never been disappointed with my meals it's a great price as you can have a soft drink or for £2.00 more you can have wine or beer with it and the staff are lovely

2nd time in this place its not good value for money, prices have gone up. Food is out fast. No need to wait, so the food quality is very poor, we left most of ours the chicken was uneatable, a complete wast of money,. Very friendly staff. Marked this down as call in for coffee only. £1.20 free refills.

Standard 'spoons with great value hearty food and drinks. Staff are very friendly and place is nice and clean. Also a VERY good venue for outdoor seating in summer especially, massive beer garden.

Always a nice spot to go to with the friends for cheap drinks and food 🍻. Right beside the court house as well, so you can celebrate your win 😉

With four staff on and only one appearing to be doing anything, I think it's pretty poor that all three gents toilets were blocked with people's waste. For goodness' sake sort it out. That's just disgusting.

Under staffed although the staff on where fantastic!! Felt undermanaged !! Food was ok but could of been dressed better and a little garnish for 8pence would have made all the difference! And 15 garden peas is not a portion of veg it fools no one I am sure they waist food they could put on the plate!!

Great pub, cheap, lively and good food

Went to JD wetherspoons newtownards today ( 13/1/23 ) with my brother & two sisters. We had lunch & boy was it good. The boys had half chicken with chips & the girls had fish & chips. The food was plentiful, excellent quality & served on a hot plate. We also finished with 2 cups of cappuccino each. Staff were friendly and helpful & the bill for all 4 of us was under £40. Look forward to returning asap. Stephen dawson

Went in to have a look and ended up getting new shoes a T-shirt and a water bottle. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, had a bit of a wait for the shoes but I think that had more to do with the time of day as it was neat closing time as it's normal very quick. They only have one dressing room as it's not a very big unit. It's handy that it's next to Costa so made for a nice evening out.

Went to wetherspoons for lunch in Newtownards and it was not good looking at the poster to what was on the plate night & day. Was told 4 big slices of Turkey wafer thin and what was that gravy was it bits of apple in it. Ended up on loo so bad.

Great food. Never had better chips. Lol Pub quiz Wednesday at 7pm is great fun and very popular

Stale naan with curry last night. Getting tired of having to ask at bar when order food for sticky table to be wiped. Food arrived and asked again for table to be wiped and sprayed onto table just about missing the food. In hinsigh should have sent food back. Is this worthy of the score on the door?

You get what you pay for. Reasonable value. The table was sticky (that was after it was cleaned) and the place is generally grubby. Really poor customer service from the more mature male staff member on the floor today.
