This is a very good chippy, the best in Ards and Bangor in our opinion. Chips are great and never undercooked like other places. Pasties are very tasty. Quite a few customers appear to be too lazy, too stupid or both, to put a bit of cloth over their bakes for a few minutes while in the shop, but that says more about some of the local mouth-breathers than it does the staff.

Had a fish and chip today. Fish was to die for. Absolutely lovely. You might have to wait a wee while, but well worth it.

Have you ever just wanted to bark at the vacuum, so it meows at your miniature elephant that decides, to buzz at the cat to repeat the program to fix the leaking plane radiator and decided to go on a stroll around the left wing on a Boeing 747, then realise you left you wallet at home "oh no what should I do" you say. Then realise you can jump there (magically) and you make it, but there goes your flight now you have to go somewhere else, suddenly a strong erge makes the smart idea of going to salt n vinegar and you realise that the best food is served here. Best atmosphere and service.

Had to give this wee gem of a chippy a review.Just had a haddock supper delivered by a lovely gal and have to say 10 out of 10 folks.Haddock fillets, yes there were 2 ,were huge with a cracking batter and lovely flavour.Chips were crispy with no excess grease.looking forward to trying the rest of the menu, size of me! Couldnt recommend this chippy enough.

The cod etc are a great size, they do a lunch time special fish pieces or chicken strips, you also get a free dip or a coke etc.staff very friendly, in my view the best chipper in newtownards.

This is a lovely place but when the menu says a chicken Brest meal and a drink on the board it should come with a drink. But was told no drink was ordered but on the board it shows a chicken breast and chips and a drink the same as the cod bits and chips and drink think been done out of the drinks but if it don’t come with them then it should not show that it does

Delicious, fresh fish in a light crispy batter 10/10 will definitely come back next time I'm in the area

Properly cooked chips (a deal breaker for mein lesser chippies) and good value meal deals. Reasonably quick service even at busier times and I've never had a bad meal or had to send anything back. My favourite chippy

Used to be the best Chippy in Ards, but not any more. Ordered Fish Supper, very strong smell from the narrow piece of fish and the chips had been reheated and not just once. Very disappointed.
