    It is a natural rock in the shape of an elephant, in the middle of the confluence point of Neyyar River and Arabian Sea. The best view of the elephant rock can be enjoyed in a boating trip. Boating in the backwaters are really a wonderful experience. The main attractions here is the beaches, mangrove forest, canals, birds watching etc.

    A natural sculpture. Made by nature it is located in the water of the Neyyar River where it meets the sea and the place is called Golden sand beach. Wonderful experience with the boat ride in the backwaters of Poovar.

    Elephant Rock is situated in moddle of the river in poovar back water river known as Neyyar. You can visit here with a boat by visiting whole poovar back water and you can have good time spend here Poovar is a small coastal, fisherman village located 35 km from Trivandrum and 20 km from Kovalam. Poovar Island is surrounded by a river called Neyyar .elephant rock is not fully looks like elephant but it has a story behing it.

    A rock looking more like an elephant in the middle of the river Neyyar, where the river is merging into Arabian Sea. You cancan't get down there but can watch from the boat only. A tourist attraction in Poover backwaters.

    It's a real rock carved by nature in form of elephant right in middle of waters where neyyar river meets the sea. The natural sculpting is quite marvellous and the contours of elephant is quite obvious.Its against the backdrop of golden sand beach.

    Poovar Elephant rock is anatural sculpture. Made by nature it is located in the water of the Neyyar River. Wonderful experience with the boat ride in the backwaters of Poovar. Its against the backdrop of golden sand beach.

    This is a giant rock island situated on the backwater of Poovar near Golden Beach and there's nothing special about it. Just a regular visiting spot made for tourists.
