It is a shore from where the Sea went back and naturally created a wide shore. Before 20 years the Sea was so close to the present Church. It is a place where you are safe and feel happy. It is a holy Place of prayer. No psunami could destroy this place. It is a historical place where many believes, stories, and myths are paving their roots to reveal to one and all whoever come over here in this white-sand to fill their mind with sanctity, to give their future with prosperity, and to wash the foot by crazy murmuring white sand for a healthy life. I have many things to reveal about this beach which I love and like most. There is steep valley to give green nature beauty in one side. Deep blue sea named Arabic Ocean having good fish wealth in the other side. There are different types of soil in different colours in different sizes. There are several medicinal plants in this valley.

One of the best beach in Kerala, maybe in India. A walk on a white sandy beach gives you peace of mind and joy

Adimalathura is a splendid beach to visit if you are in Thiruvananthapuram, the beach is located near Kovalam around 8kms into the inroads. You can experience a very unique vibe when you are at this beach. It is a one of a kind beach way different from typical beaches in Kerala. There is many things to see in and around the beach. You come into conjunction with a church as you enter the beach. There is green fields almost everywhere covering thr beach giving it a standing out beauty. There are pine trees which are filled in the shore which thus increase the look and feel of the beach. If you are in Trivandrum dont go for the over crowded Shankumugham and Veli beaches, rather give adimalathura a try.

Long stretch of golden sand. The sand crabs are very entertaining to watch as they scuttle in and out of the surf. Lots of religious statues to visit at the northern end. Worth a visit to Salt Water restaurant for sea food and watch the sunset with a drink. Unfortunately there is much rubbish and waste littered over large areas which reduces the "paradise" factor.

Adimalathura Beach is a coastal treasure that captures the essence of untouched beauty. Tucked away along the southern coast of India, this beach is a hidden gem waiting to be explored. Beautiful spot on the beach, with a huge collection of Christian monuments. You can catch fishing done the old fashioned way, no pun intended, early in the morning. Nets come out from 08:00 to about 10:00. Very interesting to see how some families survive here. Definitely worth a watch. Very humbling. Very peaceful from around 15:00, catch some late afternoon sunlight. For that deep tun and watch the Sun set. There are beds and umbrellas available.

Nice place for spending evening. Resorts are there for staying. Lots of foreigners visit this place. There is a well maintained christian chappal. If you are planning to visit this place, its better to opt Plamoottukada road than Poovar road.
