A good starter for kids to get a first hand experience of an aquarium, but that is pretty much about it. An aquarium near one of famous beaches in the country had some real potential if maintained properly. A limited space with old school way of presentation, not so clean surroundings and no support staff to be seen for any assistance.

It's an ok good place. Ok collection of marine fishes.. considering the entry is only Rs. 20 it's completely worth the amount. Can spend about 30 - 45mins or so ... Kids will enjoy the place... Some special attractions were the star fishes, a small shark, turtles, the finding Nemo fish etc.

This place is so dreadful! Shockingly and hopelessly inadequate. How can anyone keep a beautiful giant sea turtle in a filthy, tiny concrete basin with no vegetation !!! Or keep smaller sea turtles in a tiny, empty glass tank paddling furiously non stop ...all day as there is nothing for the poor creatures to climb out of the water and rest on. Disgraceful that this disgusting apology for an aquarium should even have the nerve to call itself a marine center. The huge stuffed fish is at least dead and can no longer suffer. Close this ridiculous nightmare and set these poor creatures free.

Well maintained aquarium near vizhinjam. Visited the place today on the way to vizhinjam beach. There is an entry fee of Rs20, but today the entry was free. Don't know the reason for free entry.
