This is the first time I've came here and I've enjoyed the views, boat ride, seen the backwaters. The local peoples are so nice and friendly but there's only one problem with them is of communication, they can't understand Hindi ,and some some people understand English. I'll request every visitors please don't throw your garbage at the beach or anywhere, let others enjoy the feelings that you've enjoyed and together we make a clean India.

One of my favorite places at Trivandrum, the moment you enter this area , you will feel like you are at "panting" not in real life ! Everything around you is like a magic city , it's not only about visiting an ordinary beach.

Awesome beach to visit

Such a wonderful beach. A good spot for an evening outing. Quiet and safe place as it's directly in front of the coast police station. You will be super safe and always one civil police officer is on duty on the sea shore. You can bring your child here. The tides in the late evening are high so better not to dive or play in the sea.

A very beautiful yet dangerous beach. You'll get to see deep beach where waves are making loud noise while hitting shore. Evening scenery is beautiful.

We took the river cruise ride from Poovar to reach the Golden Sand Beach. The beach was clean and one can enjoy the cool sea breeze sitting here for a while. This is also a good place to take bath as the water was crystal clear and the beach is safe to take bath as there was no underwater current.
