Best place to visit for sunset ! Shiva statue is mesmerising the sculpture is beyond perfect imagination. Met the sculptor there such a humble talented person. Such location need peace and love. Please don’t create nuisance at the beach side. Maintenance decency at in and around the temple.

Small temple in a very beautiful place. The atmosphere is very calm and the statue of lord Shiva with the sea as the backdrop will give you a good DP. There is a meditation room below the Shiva statue and parking is good. Overall the place is well maintained and a must visit place.

There was ample parking near the temple.. the actual Google maps road was closed when we came by the highway so you might take another route before entering.. good vibes. Nice environment with sea shore view and the time updated in maps was wrong.. they close the temple by 12pm sharp. So plan accordingly..

Beautiful 58ft tall statue of Lord Shiva, the background is a beautiful beach. The sculptor has done amazing work here, and has a sense of sacredness. One can see the Vizhinjam port from here. This is situated on a cliff and better to stick with the temple area since the adjacent Cliffs are very dangerous. I had been here before the construction but now the sea waves are quite dangerous and I assume due to the construction of a port nearby. To the left is adimalathura another picturesque beach 🏖️..... weekend is crowded but yes the sunsets are amazing .

No words to describe the emotion when we look at the divine and mighty 58ft Shiva sculpture. The sculptor has made a marvel here and that too in a short span of time. The temple and the sculpture area is very neatly maintained. Towards the back there's a beach and some local food shops. Just spending some time watching the sculpture and the mighty waves is a soulful experience. The sea waves are a bit rough u can feel the water even up where we stand. There's enough parking and toilet facilities available.

The temple's location couldn't be more perfect, with the sound of crashing waves serving as a soothing backdrop to your visit. The intricately designed temple structure is a sight to behold, with its intricate carvings and vibrant colors adding to its allure. The Beach Temple azihmala is more than just a place of worship; it's a place of natural beauty and cultural significance that leaves a lasting impression

Serene place with a Divine touch. A beautiful seaside temple offers a breathtaking view of Mahadev in the picturesque blue sky. Well maintained shrine and giant Siva statue with ganga on the head. Be prepared for a tiresome uphill climb if you don't get parking at the temple ground. The temple closes by 11 am. Ideal for worshippers, beach lovers and family outing. Be ready to follow the Temple customs. Om Namah Shivayah

This place is filled with lots of positivity. You must visit it once. I want to share my experience. While reaching this place, I was very tired and feeling low on energy. However, once I reached this place, the aura in the atmosphere was filled with positive energy, and all my tiredness was gone. There's an amazing Mahadev statue with a sea view. A must-visit.

This is a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located very close to the sea. The temple boasts a huge statue of Lord Shiva, which stands tall at around 58 feet. This place is not only a spiritual destination but also a popular tourist spot. Visitors are allowed to take pictures near the statue, which is a major attraction. However, photography is not permitted in the part of the temple where poojas take place. There is also a stunning beach nearby, which is definitely worth a visit. We had a peaceful experience during our visit as it was a weekday, and the crowd was less. However, we had visited this place earlier during the weekend and it was chaotic due to the heavy crowds. Overall, if you're in Trivandrum, this is a great place to visit.

Located 10 km from Kovalam, this is a serene temple with the main attraction being the beautiful statue of Lord Shiva. It’s located on the shores of Azhimala beach that offers stunning views of the sea. It’s now turned into a tourist attraction with people rushing to take pics; would recommend to visit before 7 AM to have the place to yourself.

Moments lost in the divine atmosphere... The sea flowing like milk and the magnificent statue of Shiva next to it are the hallmarks of this place. It is more beautiful during off-peak hours, cameras are not allowed inside the temple, but there is no problem in taking a picture of the Shiva statue.

Great place. The Shiva statue is a must watch. This aesthetically appealing statue is a masterclass work by the artist. The place is neatly managed. Well tiled car parking is available at the end of the road (near the temple). The pay and use washrooms are neat and tidy. Entry fees to the statue is Rs. 20.

Excellent picnic place, Azhimala Beach, near Trivandrum City and the roaring sea wave are enchanting phenomena in conjunction with the breeze bringing the aroma of salt of the sea water. Very stunned by the scenes of the glittering sea shore which is lined up with so many coconut trees. Visitors are enjoying the scenic beauty of the Beach where one can stand pinned up in solidarity for a long time without really knowing the running of time.

Azhimala Shiva Temple is a must-visit for people who are interested in ancient temples and stunning natural beauty. The temple is located on a cliff along the shore of the Arabian Sea, and the views are breathtaking. The temple also has a beautiful statue of Lord Shiva, and the atmosphere is very peaceful. I highly recommend visiting this temple, especially during sunset when the views are even more beautiful.

58 feet Majestic statue of Lord Shiva makes the environment Divine. Amazing sea and nature views from Parking area. Large and clean beach near temple. Wonderful Sunset view. This is the largest Shiva statue in Kerala. There is slippery rocks which may skid people into sea water, visitors should be more careful.

The mighty and humble lord Shiva! Feels amazing to glance him at the beach, looks like he's the great saviour of the city from the vast sea. It's a small temple and tourist attraction with a nominal entry fee of 20₹ to view the statue. Make sure you visit during sunset or when it's not sunny for a better experience. It's easy to reach there as almost all local auto valas keep asking if you require a site visit and this would be one of the places.

Very nice place beside sea beach. Mind blowing views. Shiva statue is very big and beautiful also. May try the dhosa and bada at the restaurant just beside parking area, few steps lower side of the entrance. Food is very tasty and price is cheap. It is a self service restaurant. A vast sea beach is just awaiting infront the restaurant. The place is not overcrowded. Must visit.

It is a beautiful temple has to visit . Dien side of the temple covered with sea. The temple overlooks the beautiful Azhimala Beach. With its beautiful blue waters, and sandy shores, it's one of the best places to watch the sunset.

The massive statue of Lord Shiva is the main attraction of this temple. Situated at the cliff adjoining the sea adds up to it's beauty. Ticket charges are 20 INR. Entry is free for handicapped people.

This temple is one of the latest additions of modern architecture. The temple itself is simple and old school but the huge Shiva statue is what makes it stand out. The Shiva statue is beautifully carved overlooking the azhimala cliff. The sunset views from this temple are amazing.
