There are 16 balkondes around Borobudur Temple, and i would say that this is one of the best. The architecture and building quality is great, the atmosphere is superb and the view is really nice. Unfortunately, the food and drink is still limited both in taste and variety. Also, the service is closed at 5pm so you won't be able to buy any food, drink and souvenir after 5pm. You still can take selfies at any time, fortunately.

The view is no joke!! I sometimes too imaginary, but honestly, i can imagine kingkong appearing from the mountains in front of this balkondes. Which : makes it even interesting, right? lmao. that's how i said that a place is really have a good view Never stay there but i was being able to look in to the rooms. The room looks comfyyyy! Not staying there since me and my family are 30ish people and this balkondes only able to provide room for 12 people (normally. 2 people each room) and 18 people (with extra bed). I wish i have opportunity to come back and stay

Great place for photo session or recreation with family or lover, you are free to enter but if you want to take photo at inner place you must pay for the guesthouse

This village meeting point ( Balkondes ) of Ngadiharjo is just so amazing. Supported by The National Electrical Department of Indonesia, this place has something to offer especially in the evening. Located in the middle of the ricefields, with the scenery of Menoreh Hill on the west and Borobudur plus Mt. Merapi and Merbabu on the East you Will be spoiled by this amazing views. Entrance fee is FREE, it has Free WiFi, hall for gathering, coffee shop, and homestay / guesthouse just in one stop area. Toilets are clean and mushola is available as well. 10 minutes riding from Borobudur temple. Perfect timing to visit is during the Sunrise and sunset . Very recommended.

First balkondes we visit, very well maintained. Hopefully there will be more events on national vacations, not just when there are booked event by organizations, so individuals and family tourists can enjoy the culinary and activities as well as offered to large groups

Beautiful compound, but when visited on dry season, weather is very hot. Supposed to be greener on rainy season when paddy fields in the sorounding area on planting season. Downside is the distance.
