Gave my husband medication he is deathly allergic to. This is the first time he actually ingested it. A previous time it was caught by myself as they were trying to prescribe it. After being told in triage, no bracelet was put on both times. It is in his charts that he is allergic to said medication as well. They also instantly assumed because he was there for pain that he was a drug addict looking to score pain meds. Extremely rude on the phone as I was trying to get information. Discharged him so fast that they did not even do that correctly and were calling us to give information that they forgot to give during discharge. Will never deal with this er again after this experience.

I have gone to the ER three times. The first time I went here they didn't do much (problem for a head injury). The second time was just awful while the third was pleasant. I hit my head on concrete and they did no tests and said I was good to play football. I ended up having a bad concussion and luckily I didn't play football after that. The second time I went there the staff were very rude and I couldn't take it anymore so I left. They tried charging me over $600 when I had ZERO tests done. I kept getting sent the bill so when I called and explained that I had nothing done and didn't hear back from them since. Went there a third time and felt they handled my case much better than the previous. The staff were nice to me and answered any questions I had.

Do not go to this place for mental health concerns. Do not go to this place if you are expecting to be treated like a real human being, for mental health concerns. Additionally, I would also recommend that if you have an emergency mental health crisis and live in upper Pennsylvania or near Olean, should not go to Olean General unless you are at the point of death. I don't say this as someone inexperienced in these matters, as im 42 and have had Major Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and PTSD for well over half my life. Avoid this place at all costs.

Unfortunately for my spouse we visit emergency too frequently. I found the staff to be compassionate and efficient. Overall they do a great job. But the entire process is extremely slow which is why I gave this rating 4 stars. They saved my husband's life on one occasion for which I am very grateful.

I unfortunately had to go to the ER two consecutive days for a medical emergency. They were so accommodating. Ryan, my nurse was great. Very kind & compassionate. As well as fast & efficient. The Dr’s & residents were helpful. I really can’t remember their names, but kudos to them as well. And Brandace was very sweet too. I was very lucky to have such efficient staff helping me out. Thank you

Was taken in by ambulance very inconsiderant doctors would not listen to situation and avoided issue let go after 6 hrs with no closure as what was wrong ended up in out of area er and had blood work and ct scan with results after short time that gave good closure of what was going on and for specilist follow up good advise avoid this place

i have 2 disks out in my lower back hitting my siatic nerve. been in pain for a month.. i cant see my specialist until the 23rd... ive been to the er 2 times in a month.. they keep giving me the same meds.. nothing is working!!! so i go agian today. once agian.. they gave me the same shots and meds..nthen sat there for 4hrs.. i couldnt even get a drink of water.. finally i walked out.. this is absolutly ridiculous

If I could give less i would. Dont waste your time or money. Go to another hospital, period.

If I could give it less of a rating I would! Sat for 3 hours before being triaged. Watched a lady have a seizure in waiting room with absolutely NO help from ER! Also watched a lady with left shoulder pain mimicking a heat attack get no triage what so ever in the time span I was there ( 3 hours) I left. Came back next day to be seen yet again and what a complete SHitshow! Staff talking about family fueds. People sleeping on the floor in bathroom. Only person you see is the health insurance lady looking for the money grab for the hospital. When you ask about the wait they have absolutely no clue and yet again another 3 hours pass and not 1 person taken back to be seen. Unless brought by ambulance your not getting in! Unacceptable! Absolutely, UNACCEPTABLE!

I just drop off someone today around 1pm and I told them he can't hear you need to call me when he done I called 2 hours ago and they said that he doing test and just now I just called they said they don't have no one by that name in the ER so this is not that first time they did this is the 2nd time and come to find out that he never got in he was setting there for 11 hours and never got seen 10-12-2023 I just got up there at 9pm got there and they didn't even have him on the list to be seen when I did all the paper work OGH need to get bigger or close down we not the only person the walked out of OGH

Would give fewer stars if i could. Their wait time is awful, and the staff absolutely sucks. Do not recommend it. Don't come here with any serious health problems.

Went to Emergency room Monday around 7pm..Triage nurse tried to put IV line in right arm...didn't work and then took blood from left arm. She had the rubber thing entirely too tight on my arm...this photos is from Thursday...3 days later. I wouldn't recommend
