Everything at this location was very underwhelming and below average. Arrived around 6pm and was seated pretty quickly. Server introduced himself very nicely and professionally. Sadly we did not see much of him for the rest of our stay because the restaurant was so understaffed. We saw him a total of 3 times for less than 5 minutes. We saw him when we were seated, when we go our water/drinks/food and when we paid for our bills. The nachos was just overly cheesy and not layered. It was just a large chunk of cheese tossed into the top. The bacon cheeseburger was great. You can expect a price increase for every item on the menu, but NOT as much of a price increase in comparison to other restaurants in Clifton hill. When it was time to cash our table out, he threw the bill at a female guest on our table which was unacceptable. Service really needs to step up, doesn’t seem like this place is managed that well….won’t be back again…

Long over due review… Came here with my family in Aug 2021. We clearly identified the food allergies to our server and to our surprise we were still served food with the allergens of concern. The manager seemed apologetic but realistically, she was was more concerned about any possible litigation and was kissing out a**. Anyway, never returning here ever again. Highly recommend the same for you 👎🏽

We were here over Labor Day weekend for our honeymoon and everything was amazing! We came for the funnel cake fries and they certainly didn't disappoint! The whole meal was really lovely and made very enjoyable by our server Lily. She was very attentive and friendly, our drinks were always refilled right away and the food was all delicious. Lily made sure we were having a wonderful time! Thank you for making this a meal to remember on our honeymoon trip! :)

I was so excited to try Kelsey’s Original Roadhouse. Unfortunately we left extremely disappointed. Nothing about our experience was good. We sat for about 10 minutes before our waiter came to take our drink order, while other tables that were seated after us were already placing their food orders. Once our waiter showed up he took our drink order and just walked away. Didn’t even ask if we wanted an appetizer. He wasn’t attentive at all and we had to flag him down every time we would actually see him. The other waitresses were going back and forth all around us and he was always MIA. We never even got a refill for our drinks. Once we got his attention we just wanted our check at that point. We ordered the Four Cheese Spinach Dip. We got half the pita fried. The pita was so stale we could barely bite through it, and the fried pita was way easier to bite, with a slight crunch but was dripping and infused with oil. I was so excited to try the Salt and Vinny fish but was so disappointed again. The fish was bland, cold and super dry. The fries were also cold and I had to ask for the malt vinegar that’s supposed to come with it. My husband ordered a side Caesar salad and Buffalo wings. His Caesar Salad came out warm and slimy, like my coleslaw. Grossly disgusting, especially on a hot day. His wings he ordered medium. They weren’t spicy at all and had a sweet taste to them. We wouldn’t recommend this place based on our experience.

Great service and friendly staff. The food and drinks were well priced for Niagara Falls. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken and Biscuits which was good and the portions were huge. I couldn't finish my meal. The Strawberry Rhubarb Gin Smash was also good and refreshing. It was a good experience overall.

On Friday evening we had dinner at Kelseys. For one, on a very busy night they definitely seemed to be understaffed. We ordered our meal which our waitress confirmed with me that I ordered my burger with only lettuce on it. My burger came out with the lettuce, mayo and onions on it. When I asked the waitress about it she brought it back within seconds so I'm not sure if just the bun was swapped out or if they just have old burgers sitting in the back. My burger did still have the taste of onion so to me seems like they just changed out the bun. Thankfully I just don't enjoy onions rather than it being an allergy or this could have been a bigger problem. My burger at this point was ice cold to the point the cheese was hard and not melting with the burger at all. My husbands chicken fingers were lukewarm. The only good thing about the meal was that our fries were good and were very hot. Overall really disappointing. Edited to add - I've emailed the email in the reply over a week ago with no reply. Clearly that was just put there to try and save face to those who read these comments.

PATHETIC Food, HORRIBLE Service! When you visit on a weekday when its not crowded at all, you’d expect a decent service. But we had the worst experience. the waiter took ages to come, then kept forgetting what we ordered, took almost 40 minutes to bring water to the table. Food was bad - chicken crispers were hard to bite, the sauces were hardly there… the nachos was undercooked. The only thing good was the beer that’s cos they don’t make it there to spoil it.. we spent more than 150$ for the worst dinner ever!

We decided to stop by this place on a whim while visiting Niagara Falls. And although it was crowded, we were able to be seated right away. The atmosphere was very lively and they played some nice music while you were waiting to order/eat. For an appetizer, we got the Burly Beef Chili which was DELICIOUS! It was so tasty and hearty. For dinner, we got the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich which was good and flavourful. The Lemon Pepper Salmon which was alright, definitely had better elsewhere. For dessert, we had the Messy Cookie Sandwich which was absolutely divine. It was incredibly delicious and paired perfectly with ice cream. We got the Wildberry Rose Sangria which was soooo good. It was the perfect blend of alcohol and fruits and I would definitely recommend. The staff were pretty nice however the wait for some of the food was long.

Wife and I came here (again) on the Sunday night of the Victoria Day long weekend for dinner. Despite the long line-up outside and large crowds, we were able to be seated at the requested tables overlooking Clifton Hill. Service was relatively good and food was excellent. We had the Chicken and Beef Fajitas. Order was accurate on all fronts and came relatively quickly. It was a great dining experience.

One of the worst franchise location I have been to. We friends ordered about $200 worth of food and wings were cold , so was the patty for burgers and everything else from yam fries to others. Dippings were the only thing warm and good. Super slow service and manager was rude n ignorant. Will definitely not go back here .

Food- 4.5/5 Service- (-5)/5 Ambience- 4/5 Vibe- 5/5 Small tables for their extra large plates. Beverages would take ages to come on table. A simple beer took 18 minutes. Low standards of cocktails and too sweet. Servers were novice and lacked customer service skills. Lady in blue shirt looked like a manager was extremely rude. Hostesses were very good and polite though. Sweet potato fries were super soggy. Fish and chips were good but absolutely bland without any salt.

The restaurant is in the main street in the center of cliffs hill, we came to eat at the evening and was full of people and great vibe. We had great service. The waiter was very nice and the food is very delicious, Best burger I had lately. I recommend this place.

The quality of choices that you have for food in Niagara falls is quite disappointing. This place is above the local average. The burger was sub par and could have been better. The salad and the fish and chips were good. The location is great and the service is OK.

Food was yummy. Ambiance was cool and nice, we sat outside on patio. Only thing that’s a little annoying is music is too loud, can’t carry on a conversation at your table. Good service and prices are reasonable as well. Located right on the main strip close to everything

Came here with the family for lunch for my birthday, our waitress was great, food was great but we was seated on the outside patio where the umbrellas was too small to cover the table and guest. We left the only shade spot for our 5 year old and the 3 of us left in the blistering sun.. Otherwise it was a good place. We did ask for a booth seat where there was a row of 10 empty (but closed?) we kept getting bee's buzzi g around us and my sun is allergic to them..we had a ant crawling around our plates.. otherwise it would've been at least a 4 star experience. Lineup was not too bad for lunch

Disappointed in the food quality and quantity. Avoid the $20+ menu at all costs. Look at the picture and you see how tiny the steak is to the phone and the whole dish just doesn't look appealing. Ordered the 8oz steak at med rare and that thing was tiny dry and unappetizing to look at. It was bland, barely any seasoning to it, and exceptionally chewy for med rare. Vegetables were gross, def your low quality frozen vegetables. You're better off walking the extra 2m to Denny's or burger king and guaranteed better quality and value for money. Friend ordered the salmon which was even more disappointing, the size of your middle and index finger together. That's how tiny it was. He was still hungry after and didn't particularly enjoy either. For the most expensive dishes, they were the most disappointing. You're better off going with the menu items sub $20 as it seems to offer better value for money. Service was friendly from the reception to server, but wait time was longer than expected for a quiet Monday afternoon. Tables were sticky like someone spilled pop all over it and someone did a quick wipe on it. We had a nice view from the tables closest to Clifton hills and feels very open. And indoor experience that feels like and outdoor experience. Food 1/5 Service 3/5 Prices 3/5 Atmosphere 4/5

Cute and huge place inside. Queue time is quite ok outside but then there's at least another hour to wait inside for food. I went when it was very busy!! Took a beer which was great, the salmon and a starter. Food was not amazing, the salmon was dry and the starter soso. The location is nice as it's in the center.

The meal was great. I wasn't sure base on other negative review but my $23.99 chicken meal was full to the rim and I was satisfied. The price were reasonable unlike other restaurants where tip and tiff are mandatory. The service crew were accommodating. Expect it will be crowded pass 8pm and you had to wait in line. I could have given them a 4.5 star

Had high hopes walking into this place, especially with the other reviews I saw a Google. But, nope. I am currently still sitting in the retsurant writing this pissed because our waitress came two seconds after we sat down asking for our drinks. Then less than five minutes later came back asking us for our good order. I asked for another minute and she seemed annoyed. The food came out in about 15 minutes after we order and everything was just barely warm. The poutine (which is a side upgrade) had like 2 cheese curds on it. The tenders were tiny and the driest I ever had, not even the sauce could save it. She never gave us utensils. Had to ask another waiter for plates and utensils. And I still haven't seen our waitress stop by asking how the food is or if we need anything. But at this point I don't even care I'm just so hungry I am eating it. Oh wait.... she just walked over once we were done with our meal just now to ask how it was... yeah never again. I rather get McDonald's or Burger King or Wendy's. At least you know what you are getting with them.

I really like steaks. Ordered steak with rice and guacamole. The steak was overcooked even though I ordered medium. They also chopped it up, although I expected one piece. The waiting time was more than 30 minutes, although the hall was full and half occupied by customers. In the end, our orders were also mixed up and one of us waited another 15 minutes for his steak. I don't recommend it!! Added: two days have passed, they asked to contact them, but don't believe it. This is only so that people who read reviews see that they are trying to improve and are worried about the client. Not really. They don't care about your opinion or your feedback. They don't care. This is a large restaurant chain and it can afford to lose a couple of customers. Don't trust them.

That apple butter bbq sauce is life. Only regret I have is not asking them if they sold it separately. Food and service was on point and full of flavor.

This location is the center of all the fun at Clifton / Niagara. The wait the weekend of Labor Day was not bad. We dined with 2 toddlers. The spinach dip with fried pita is AMAZING, my husband and I ordered the same steak dinner is was great too! They get busy but I think it’s worth it.

My wife and I had a great experience here. The food was good, the atmosphere was very nice and the service was great. You get what you expect from any Kelsey's, but that's not a bad thing. We would recommend this place and thanks again 👍.

Great time for some desserts while out with the family. The staff were warm, helpful, and accommodating. Our order was brought to the table promptly. Tasted great!

The server was amazing. She even took a family picture of us behind a scenic wall. It was quiet at the restaurant. Surprisingly that weekend was quiet. Which was soo nice. The food was okay, the server made my daughter a fancy drink. Which made her super happy. I felt as though my drink Cesar was super expensive. But that's Niagara I guess. overall we had a great time.

Delicious food and drinks . Must try the Thai curry bowl , the flavours are mouthwatering. We got 5 dishes and the bill came to $225 after tax and gratuity. There is a bit of wait to get the food on to our table , no complaints on that as this goes into the mere chitchats in-between.

First time to this location and felt a bit nostalgic as all Kelsey's locations closed in Alberta years ago. We were seated quickly and our server was very friendly and welcoming. While food was served within a reasonable time, our two kids' pasta dinners were way undercooked. Though our server was apologetic and offered to redo them, we declined as we didn't want to wait around any longer and our kids were satisfied polishing the sides and munching on our food. The manager also came by to apologize and removed both kids meal from the bill. Aside from this issue, we really enjoyed our dinner at Kelsey's and would return the next time we're in the area.

Things were just above average and nothing more. The wait time was looooong, the quality of food was OK but not the best. Our fries was like the last of their batch and there was just too much crumbles of fries which was not good. The onion rings were not crispy enough and very bland. All in all, not the best experience.

Purchased 1/2 plate nachos and Buffalo chicken potato skins and wild berry rose sangria. Food not bad but was only lukewarm when it came to the table. Drink also just ok, could taste any alcohol for such a large drink. Ate on patio so be of careful all the wasps buzzing around. Server was very friendly.

My wife and I returned to Niagara Falls for our 15-year anniversary and wanted to revisit places we had enjoyed on our honeymoon. When we went to Kelseys fifteen years ago it was much smaller, and had a more intimate atmosphere, but they still have outdoor seating in a great location to people-watch and enjoy a nice summer day. The service was okay… friendly enough, but visibly disappointed when we placed a small order (loaded fries and iced tea). The loaded fries were delicious. The iced tea was very tasty but a little strange. The server assured us the tea was regular tea, even though it had a strong peach flavor. When we visited many years ago, they regularly had live music, which contributed to their fun cozy vibe. Sad that don’t have the live music now.

First time there. Food, drinks, 👍👍👍 . We had a table outside but it became chilly, they were kind enough to sit us at a booth, inside, family is happy and I don't hear complaints. That's a good thing, for me. Servers/waitresses 👍👍👍. Our first good meal since we arrived to the area. I won't even mention in this review night prior at a location on the U.S. side. Recommend.

I always go here when i come to Niagra but today i was a bit disappointed, however it was very busy. We were in a line but we got a table in a minute. We ordered 2 steaks, one of them was a bit dry and hard when we ordered medium well, the other steak was nice and tender, and we ordered the chicken fajitas as well. The presentation was very nice, very filling and tasty however the vegetables that were on the side were a bit old. We ordered the cheddar and broccoli soup and it was so tasty and amazing. The staff were great and always would check on you if you need anything. I love this place; whenever i came it was very calm and quiet but today it was very busy and its ok in my opinion if the food isn’t the best as it always is. Overall it was a good experience, thank you for everything. 🫶🏻🫶🏻
