This is the most expensive and most adequate breakfast I've ever had. I'd rather go to McDonald's. I paid $18 for 5 of their signature pancakes and if that's what they're known for I think they have a problem honestly. And to be in Canada and not serve maple syrup with it is a shame too. My sister had the seasoned beef bowl for breakfast which was also adequate but better than the pancakes. I didn't have any eggs or bacon but hopefully they can get those right.

EXPENSIVE EXPENSIVE EXPENSIVE A family of four had a breakfast for $142.84, woah, What? Seriously? The famous IHOP cost $142.84 for breakfast. We even had a coupon for $20 off (went to the waitress, she shouldn’t get stiffed for a tip) This was an ordinary breakfast, nothing super fancy, so why so much? Because reasons? To be fair, it was clean, the service was fast and it was busy, but $142.84 for a IHOP sit down breakfast is a crime. No value for the money. I do not recommend. Go somewhere else McDonalds is the same kinda quality, and for $142.84 you could have breakfast for like 3 days!!!!

Myself and two of my colleges came here to Niagara Falls for Canada’s Got Talent stayed at the Marriott Bonvoy. After production/filming we decided to have brunch at IHOP. And I must say my experience was not the best. We were seated by Cole at the front and Sharon was our server. I ordered the Bacon Temptation which consist of Chopped bacon, Jack & Cheddar, tomatoes & white cheese sauce with a side of pancakes. Everything was good until I found human hair in my Omelette. I immediately stopped eating and brought it to the attention of Cole and Sharon. Sharon came over, took the plate and decided she would get me another omelette. At this point I couldn’t eat anymore, nor was I feeling good about my experience. I waited for everyone else to finish eating when Sharon came with the card machine for us to pay the bill she said “I will start with you” handed me the machine and I and I paid my bill and handed the card machine back to her she immediately said “my service wasn’t good?” Then she immediately began to display attitude towards based on how she was ripping the paper from the card machine, handing the machine to my colleagues which made us very uncomfortable. After we all paid she grab the card machine and papers briskly walked away. On my way out I was expecting “I’m sorry you found hair in your food. Hope you have a nice day or something” instead I was departed with attitude and was made uncomfortable.

Inside was so dark and gloomy. I'm only giving 3 stars for the service/receptionist/servers,they were very nice and accomodating. You need atleast 40 dollars to eat for 1 person alone. Omelette with hasbrown comes up to 34 dollars with taxes and fees, too expensive for average tasting food.

The staff at this location are very friendly and the food tastes good, but as many other reviewers have said - it is way too expensive! We had a $15 coupon and still ended up paying over $65 for two breakfast combos alone. Coffee tastes cheap and old, but pancakes were great. Overall we didn’t love our experience but we did like our waitresses.

It's covid so our hotel (embassy suites) doesn't do breakfast but we got $20 off an IHOP order and thought, sure, it'll be a bit more expensive because it's Niagara but with $20 off it should be fine. Whoops. The menu didn't have prices when we ordered for pick up. 2 straightforward breakfasts (pancakes, eggs, hash browns) came to $60! I'm surprised my jaw didn't hit the floor when the staff member said that. It's an IHOP so I knew what to expect regarding food but for this price, no way, save yourself a fortune and go elsewhere.

By far the worst breakfast I’ve ever had. Over priced for a Mediocre breakfast Not worth buying at all.

quite possibly the worst iHOP i’ve been to. Dirty plates, when asked to replace nicely, was replaced with even dirtier plates. Eggs were served with shells. Didn’t get the right items served that we ordered to begin with. No condiments on the table. attitude of servers so uncalled for. Server took one item off the bill as a service recovery but continued to throw my bill at the table. Disappointing when your at prime location at niagara.

I spent $50 on my food and it showed up like this , stale and freezing cold (missing bacon) this is an atrocious situation, this location has forever ruined ihop. I wish i read the reviews prior to ordering my food. I refuse to eat this and health Canada needs to look into this place . I will be contacting them to make sure they do so. You should be ashamed of the management and kitchen staff. SHUT THIS DISGUSTING PLACE DOWN.

I have enjoyed a nice breakfast at IHOP when I stayed at the Niagara Falls. Yes, the price is not the same compared with the IHOP in the States, but it is expected because it's a tourist area. I also got the coupons from the hotel that I could get better deals with the coupon. Service is good and food is standard that you can get at every IHOP. Anyway, it's a good start of a morning !

People who leave bad reviews seem to have never been to a restaurant before, you have to wait for your food this is common sense. Staff are very respectful and helped us with all of our needs and the food was what we asked for and expected, being in a tourism area food is bound to be high price but you pay for the convenience of it being in your hotel basement. People need to stop being slobs and learn how a restaurant environment works.

My partner and I walked in around 2pm, on a Sunday (10/22/23). The hostess first beckoned us to follow and then had us stand around for 5 mins in the middle of the floor while she figured out where to seat us (the restaurant was completely empty besides two other tables). While we were waiting, I overheard one of the tables complain to their server about their food and that it was “too mushy.” We then were seated all the way next to where a larger party vacated since the used dishes were still there for the entirety of the time we dined in (about twenty mins). We ordered our food, which came out quickly but was then told by our server that the restaurant is technically closed, but we could stay as long as we wanted but they needed us to settle the bill promptly. I ordered a chicken and waffle; didn’t even finish the waffle-it was absolutely terrible and I am really not one to complain about foods. The chicken tenders were ok, but the waffle was SO disappointing-no butter, and the texture of the waffle was weirdly squishy, not fluffy at all; it both tasted and looked like it wasn’t cooked long enough. I didn’t even finish it, it made me nauseous trying to eat it. I couldn’t bring myself to take it to go & I LIVE for leftovers! My partner ordered a pumpkin cold cream coffee, and the pumpkin special which was supposed to be 2 eggs, 2 pumpkin pancakes, 2 pieces of bacon and hash browns. He asked for a side of sausage and he got 1 piece of sausage and 1 piece of bacon. He said the coffee was terrible; the foam was just mixed in instead of being on the top and the flavor was off. The portions for his order were small, too. I didn’t want to give the server a low score since he had nothing to do w the food prep but he did get my partner’s order wrong. Besides terrible tasting food, the total cost came out to 84 CAD, which is 61.18USD!!!!!!!!!!! WAY OVERPRICED. Go to the shawarma place, by Smoke’s Poutinerie! It’s abut $34 CAD/dish (depending on what you’re getting) their portions and food are AMAZING.

Food was not worth the $20 (CAN) minimum amount it costs. Want simple eggs and bacon? $21. Two crepes? $22. The quality of the food was not worth the price and the quantity was even worse. Can’t believe they get away charging this much for breakfast food. Service was fast but the waitress was very rushy and didn’t even let me finish was I was asking for before asking me questions or taking my menu away. Overall regretting eating here :/

We had a great service and ok food. I was expecting that as the area is very touristic. Prices are on The higher side. When at the area will go back again.

My wife and I came in for breakfast after our stay at the Hilton down the street. The seating was fine and the server was nice but I was shocked when I saw the prices. We each got the pancake special, $29.99 each plus tax. It came with two eggs, two sausages, hash browns and two pancakes. I thought “this is an American company, I’m sure the portions will be larger than we are used to” and we were already sat down so just said sure and we ordered that. It came out about five minutes later, which was nice but a little suspicious. The portions were small actually, which was shocking based on the price being double what we usually pay for breakfast somewhere like Sunset grill. The worst part was, the food was not good. It’s what I’d expect at a hospital or a middle school cafeteria; sausages just barely fully cooked, the hash brown were just a shredded potato, warmed up and seared on two sides, and the egg was alright but likely just poured out of a big bucket off “egg” based on the colour and consistency. The pancakes were nice, but that’s all I can say wasn’t completely disappointing. The bill came to $72, which was actually more than our room service delivered dinner came to the night before in our hotel room, which had been very good Italian dishes. I would have been disappointing if we paid what we usually pay for breakfast, which is about $30 for two people. For $72 our meal was a really bad joke. If I could, I’d warn every person about the enter this place to go ANYWHERE ELSE. You’ll get better food for half the price. What a joke. Server was friendly though.

Ate here with my family in May 2022. We just arrived from Singapore via Toronto and we wanted to eat at IHOP having ate in one many years ago. Unlike other reviewers, we didn't know that the prices here were a lot more expensive than other places. We assumed that everything in Niagara was expensive. Food here was ok. Service was good.

The go to spot after a fun long night at the falls. Today's experience was a great one. Had the all you can eat pancake breakfast. The pancakes are were fresh and fluffy & the hashbrowns today were cooked to perfection. 🥞👌🏽 For a long weekend, the wait was practically not existent.

One of 6 IHOPs in Niagara Falls, this one is a little smaller in size. We were seated accordingly into a booth and read our menus. Many options to be had, and I went with the Colorado omelette with a side of pancakes. Pretty much a meaty omelette. It was alright, but I would not say much more than that. Our waitress was okay, again not much more than that. One would think the price for 4 meals would not surpass $100 but it easily did at this place. So many odd charges on the bill, including a tourism tax and a hefty orange juice price. I can see why this place is rated poorly.

We had a pretty good breakfast here. It's a good location, especially convenience-wise for those staying in the hotel it's located in. It's big too, although it was busy we didn't have to wait for a table. The food and coffee were good. For the first time at an IHOP I ordered something other than a typical breakfast. I ordered a southwest scramble and it was really tasty and full of flavour. It comes with salsa and avocado plus I added hot sauce. Only thing is I remember a time when IHOP would have different flavour syrups for pancakes. I asked about this and they said they only have the traditional one now. Overall, service was good too, with constant coffee refills which I appreciate!

DON'T GO!!! The owners must know the amount of complaints they are getting, yet opt to do nothing about it. We were staying at the casino and thought lets go grab a cheap breakfast. I figured IHOP is a chain and it would be reasonable. I didn't look at a menu because we both just wanted bacon/eggs/orange juice. What a shock when I got my bill. $80. To top it off the hash browns were left over from the day before because they were so dried out. My eggs were cooked wrong as well. How could you not know how to cook an egg in a breakfast restaurant? The next day we went to "The Flying Saucer" and it was ten times the value. One positive. I felt so sorry for the friendly server we had. Imagine the complaining she must hear every day. She must do OK on tips though. Totally not her fault. RIP OFF.

Really good breakfast, service was kind, and the place itself is pretty nice. Though you might need to wait quite a bit for your food. If you ask, they do provide to-go boxes if you don't finish your food.

It's IHOP so we're not expecting anything fancy. It was exactly what we expected for food. Basically we wanted breakfast and pancakes and we got it. We were staying at one of the fallsview hotels and wanted IHOP so we were able to walk over to this location. Our host and server were attentive and were very pleasant although we went around 2pm so it wasn't as busy.

It is a basic breakfast place and it is overpriced for what it is. 60CAD+tax and tips for 2 simple breakfast sets; the coffee alone is 4CAD/person. If you stay in Four Seasons, Hilton or Fallsview, you can get there without walking on the street; it is probably the main reason to eat here. However, if you don't mind getting out when the weather is good, there're many better breakfast places available.

My family had breakfast here on our first morning at Niagara using coupon from embassy hotel. Our food was good. We had 2 orders pancakes and crepes combo for 2 adults and 2 kids. We also had cup of tea and drinks for kids. For overall is 5 stars. It's dark inside , I mean there's light but not bright. Our server was nice she made sure we enjoy our time while eating. 59.99 after 20 dollar coupon.. no complain.

Not that good of an experience. I went here after years to re experience my childhood of going to iHop. Let’s just say it wasn’t the same nostalgic taste. We ordered a few things there, the first notable thing was the price: Original Waffles were around 20$ for 1 waffle with 4 pieces.. what? Pretty overpriced. (I’m talking in CAD, this is the Canadian side of Niagara Falls, without tax and without tourist tax included) Once the food came, I noticed that there was a full ball of Whipped butter, as in, heart attack amount. I had to remove most of it, then spread the rest on the waffles. The taste with butter was 7.2/10. It tasted good, and the quality was alright but it didn’t taste so fresh. Everyone else at my booth got different things. One thing they noted was the omelette was pretty small. Especially for the price. Then.. well my bag got stolen. It didn’t fall on the ground because we were in a booth where the right was blocked off by a wall, the back by the booth cushioning, it couldn’t have gone to the left because we were sitting there and we were at the right edge of the booth, and if it had fell forward they couldn’t have picked it up. Either the Waitress stole it or the people behind us. We told a waitress who wasn’t very helpful, then called the manager and at that point they got the bag. The manager told us: “Next time, be more careful, or the bag will be stolen”, how are we supposed to be more careful..? The atmosphere was pretty good, but it was dim and not the cleanest. I’m giving them a 3 but i feel like I’m being a bit too nice, considering the way they treated us.

We got an omelette and some pancakes for breakfast. The eggs lacked flavour and the hash browns tasted like cardboard. Tracy was a great server except when she disagreed that the hash browns were not tough. I ate them, I know. Don’t get the Southwest omelette. They are not international house of omelettes. The strawberry banana pancakes saved the meal. They were banana-flavoured, fluffy and drizzled with strawberry sauce and actual pieces of fruit. The coffee was meh.

Came here for breakfast during the Christmas weekend. Our server made comments about how much food we ordered. The French toast was disgusting and when we didn't eat it she made a comment about ordering more than we can eat. We didn't leave a tip because of her bad service and she made a comment asking if we didn't see the tip button. And said "really, no tip!?" Her name was Sharron or Shannon, dont even know because she didn't even. Introduce herself.

Weekday lunch, ample seating. We waited at the door for a while- couldn’t see any staff around and there was no bell to ring. Service was regular. The worst part is the food. The harsh brown tasted like it’s been sitting for several days, very dry and rancid. The sausages also had a bit rancid taste. Thought maybe their sausages were just like that. But later that afternoon both my girl and I had diarrhea. Mine is milder but my girl’s lasted more than 2 days and we had to shorten our trip to fly home. Would never go back there again… Btw, IHOP created a case for us but the email from the manager of this restaurant wasn’t a pleasant one to read. She didn’t think there’s issue with the freshness of the food. I guess the management needs a change. Visitors, please avoid this IHOP restaurant.
