Wow, one of the best meals I have had in a long time, the steak with Brussels sprouts and mash could easily been offered in a high end dining restaurant and I would have been happy paying 3 times the price. It was amazing and Taylor greeted us and gave us excellent service.

Went to The Canal Club 62 on Saturday night for our anniversary dinner. Loved the atmosphere. Good vibes and friendly server. Food was delicious! You have to make reservations but you can get pizza or steaks. A lot of great looking food!

Overall a fantastic dining experience! We sat al fresco and the back patio is exquisite. The Tuna Tartare was not only plated beautifully but was also delicious. Paul was so sweet and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Mixed feelings … waited 25 mins for our table and had reservations. They were clearly short staffed and had many tables on the patio close together. We sat very close to a big party so not very intimate. Risotto had a crazy amount of garlic - I can make it better at home . Pizza was decent as was the tuna. Sweet chili shrimp was served with fried pickles and peppers , scrimped on the shrimp. Would not return .

It was our waitress Jackie's 3rd shift and she was amazing, extremely personable and friendly which is rare these days. The food was top notch Paul made us a pepperoni hot pepper pizza that was amazing. The owner let us sample of some of the short ribs and they were cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice night out, the back patio is beautiful. Will 100% be back

We chose the restaurant to celebrate my Mom's birthday and it was perfect! We arrived about 20 minutes early and had a cocktail before dinner. Cocktail menu was excellent....well thought out concoctions for every taste. The restaurant and bar area have gorgeous decor to begin with, but was decorated beautifully for Christmas! Our table was ready on time and our server Allie was wonderful. She kept things well paced, made superb recommendations, never let our glasses go dry, and was fun & friendly. Our starter was the Meatball (which I probably could've eaten as a meal). Big enough for 2 (or more), it was served with gnocchi & bread. Entrees at our table included the Filet Mignon (perfectly cooked with a divine demi glace), the Ribeye (which both parties agreed it could've used a sauce or stronger butter), Osso Bucco (on the special menu; meat was tender and had delicious flavor) and Seafood Linguine (shrimp & scallops over pasta). By the time we left, this place was packed. Reservations are must for dinner. Wonderful experience and highly recommended

I love this place and cannot get enough. We went again yesterday for dinner and the food is always amazing, the drinks are always amazing and our server Briana was great! I recommend and will always recommend to everyone!

My husband and I dined on the patio for our anniversary. Everything was perfect! We shared a bottle of Riesling, got the banana pepper dip to start, the Chicken Piccata for my meal, and the Bronx Brownie for dessert. YUM! It all was soooo good. Our waitress Jackie, was the best. She made sure we had everything we needed and even wrote on our dessert plate. Thanks again! Besides the food and drink being good, I just love the atmosphere. Very relaxed. Can’t wait to go back!

The venue and the menu are fantastic. I loved the outdoor space! I had a great meal at a reasonable price. The facility is very clean. The service was also impressive. We'll definitely frequent this restaurant!

Great atmosphere! We were able to be put on the waiting list, the wait was long though. 15-20 minutes turned into 40 very quick. Appetizer was out in minutes, but our entrees took another 30-40 minutes. I wasn’t personally impressed with the food. My wife’s food was very hot but mine was quite the opposite. Server was a bit inattentive Could’ve been due to a busy crowd or hostess issues. I’m not entirely sure if I’d return for the food, but for a few drinks and a beautiful atmosphere. Absolutely.

Absolutely fantastic!! My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate our anniversary as well as valentines day and it was wonderful from beginning to end! Our waitress Jen was so friendly and attentive! The food and drinks were superb! We had a great evening! We will definitely be back again soon!

Two stars for the food, and nice interior/decor; the scallop special (shown below) was quite good, though, overpriced at $30, the house salad was good too. The veggie pizza was just OK. The staff was friendly, but the big problem that will keep me from going back was the wait time to be seated, waited on, AND to receive food or drink. We had a 8:15 reservation and were not seated by 8:45, after 15 minutes or so after being seated we had to ask to be waited on, and then had to ask about our drinks another 15 minutes later. So, we did not receive food or drink much before 9:30 or so on a 8:15 reservation, which, even in higher end restaurants (which this is not) is too long.

Good: The place looks great, especially out back, where there's lots of outdoor seating and a brick pizza oven that smells wonderful. The service was very friendly, and the overall atmosphere was very nice. Also, they had a good wine selection. Not as good, but still good: The food. It was a mixed bag, really. Our stuffed peppers were under cooked, but the stuffing was great. My salmon was delicious, but the risotto it was paired with had no flavor. The scallops with beat risotto suffered the same flaws too. Presentation was very nice however. Saving the meal was the dessert of apple pie which was fantastic. Takeaways: As it was, the atmosphere, excellent menu options, and friendly staff really made up for my slight disappointment with the food. I would definitely like to come back and try more on the menu. It's a place that's great for any occasion, and you can expect to pay around $50-90 for a dinner for 2.

We sat on the back patio which is a super cute area with a nice vibe. Server was super friendly and personable, and gave us great recommendations while helping us navigate the multiple menus. We ordered the Gouda Mac and cheese with chicken and the steak pizza and both were phenomenal! Overall a great experience and will definitely be back!

Food was good. Kayla our waitress was amazing. Best waitress ever !!! She made the evening incredible and the food taste better. It was a great evening with wonderful friends.

We had a great time at Canal Club ! They have a quality wine list! We paired a lovely bottle of Pinot Noir with an amazing charcuterie board

The host Molly was absolutely wonderful. When she sat us down she made sure to let us know about all of the wonderful specials. Our server, Kayla was absolutely amazing, friendly and so knowledgeable. The vibe and energy of this entire restaurant is outstanding food quality out of this world, compliments to the chef.

Went for date night! First timers here! We ordered the banana pepper dip, I had the seared scallops with lobster risotto ( had mussels in it, I picked them out) husband got the 32oz Tomahawk with 2 side salads and a heaping of real ( garlic) mashed potatoes, and some asparagus!! This place was great! Amazing atmosphere! Very busy Well worth the money !!

Went here tonight for drinks and apps after work. Bar did not have seating so we waited as the sign indicated we should to be seated. We were told we could sit by the window but within minutes of sitting a female bar tender came over and told us in a very impolite manner that we had 1 hour to vacate the table we were at and that we needed to order food with our drinks to sit there, which we intended anyways. Then the waitress came and she had the same message for us with similar attitude. We ordered 2 drinks a piece and two apps and were treated like unwanted customers. After watching the waitress talk to two other tables in a polite and friendly manner, we realized they were singling us out and just being nasty. Food was great, the atmosphere was hip and nice but we will never return due to the service we recieved from the wait staff, unfortunate.

The food was very good! I got the shrimp and scallops pasta, loved every bite! I happened to be there for wine Wednesday and got my bottle of wine half off!! Will be going back when I am in the area. I will sit at a table next time, bar area was not the best.

I have dined here multiple times, and service and food have always been awesome. But this was nothing compared to the amazing service and quality we received when we held our year end party on the patio at the end of June. From the very start, the staff at Canal Club was flexible and accommodating to our needs, and customized a party package for our 130 guests, including a variety of brick oven pizzas, tremendous appetizers, a private bar and an AMAZING staff working hard for us the entire night. Following our event, everyone at work raved about the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food and how much they enjoyed the party. We will absolutely look to Canal Club for our next event!

I have been too canal club several times and have always enjoyed the food. Service has been iffie in the past but tonight took the cake. First when we arrived the seated us at a high top table. The person I was with was very uncomfortable due to physical issues and asked for a lower table as there were several open at the time. We were told they were reserved and about to be seated shortly (no one was sat for at least 45 minutes). Secondly I ordered fries with my sandwich and repeated this multiple times to waitress when the food arrived there was no fries. When I brought it up to two different people they said that they would check on them and never followed up and then proceeded to add the fries to our bill (that took 20 minutes to arrive). I have really enjoyed dining here in the past but this recent experience has me definitely thinking twice. Took a friend here for the first time tonight and she said food was delicious but she would never come back due to the poor service and I am second guessing returning as well. Either hire enough staff to adequately meet guests needs or get better staff....

I enjoyed this place each time I've been there. The Buffalo style cauliflower is to die for. They have pretty good wood fired pizza to boot! The owner was real nice on my birthday when he noticed our party was put on a long wait. He thanked us and said sorry for the wait. It was understandable on a rainy Friday evening but his overall service was amazing sans they wait. The outside patio is amazing!!!

The space at Canal Club is so beautiful. I’ve been there a handful of times and I have to say, I’m underwhelmed by the food (and the service, at times). The last time I was there we had a “wood-fired” pizza that tasted like it came from a box. Lovely wine selection that is a great deal on Wine Wednesdays. I’d love to see them up their food game - there is so much potential there.

I have dined here before and was always pleased with the staff, food, and atmosphere of the restaurant. We recently had our end of the year retirement party at Canal Club 62. It was one of the best parties I have been to. This was mainly due to the excellent staff who took care of our party. The staff was very friendly and were constantly checking to make sure that everyone was taken care off. Also, the food was great. I would recommend Canal Club 62 to everyone.

Outstanding food! Had the beet and goat cheese salad along with the sweet thai chili shrimp!!! Yum!!! Had a very refreshing beverage as well....cucumber mint refresher! Staff was friendly and attentive! Patio had a fun vibe! No complaints! Loved it and will be back soon! Great date night spot or girls night out!

Called on Thursday as their menu states they have fish fry thursday-sat, was told they started it on Fridays and Saturdays instead. No problem, called again on Saturday was put on hold for 20 minutes started to order and was transferred to multiple people, after we finally got someone was told they only had fish fry on Wednesdays and Fridays?? I'm confused and annoyed. Communication there isn't well and while I'm new to the area and eager to try new places this really rubbed me the wrong way. Needless to say I don't recommend in anyway if you have questions about their food as the hostess doesn't know or wanting to try their fish fry as it's changed every time I call apparently.

Simply good. Definitely going back. The loaded steak sandwich and chips were perfect for dinner.

Food was good, atmosphere not so much. Wanted to enjoy a sit down dinner on a Friday night and didn't know the place turned into a bar more so than a restaurant. If you're looking for a Friday night hang out then this might be your place. I do want to come back during the week and try it out.

Excellent and delicious food, outstanding service, wide range of drinks (wine, cocktails, etc.). Desert was scrumptious too! Be sure to leave room for it. Everything was perfect.
