Worst experience ever. We came here in search of good Indian food which ended up in disappointment. All we got was FROZEN food. The Aloo Tikki first came was frozen and cold from inside and which was replaced with the burnt Aloo Tikki. It looked totally like brownie. Secondly, the Masala chai that we got, was just hot water, there wasn’t any milk in it. It was TASTELESS. On the top of that, this Amazing restaurant, instead of apologizing to us and getting the things done, Added 16% gratuity by their own. Didn’t find it necessary to ask us about the food quality before adding it. Overall very very very disappointing experience with MOKSHA INDIAN BISTRO.

CAUTION: THIS PLACE CHARGES 16% GRATUITY BEFORE TAXES ON EVERY ORDER. The place was dead on a Friday night at 9pm. I should've known then. I've never experienced this level of disrespect and disregard as a customer before. The so-called manager was so discourteous and impertinent when we called him to ask a valid and simple question about our bill. We politely asked the manager to charge us gratuity after taxes as that is the whole purpose of gratuity. Instead of even politely saying no, he told us "you do not get to pick and choose what you pay for," and proceeded to tell us to wait for the police. As a former server at a restaurant, this kind of behavior from a manager was shocking for me. What's even more shocking is that this place is somehow still in business. I had read some of the reviews of this place before visiting and despite most of them being negative, I decided to give it a go just because I thought the food might be good. Although the food was okay in taste, the overall experience truly was a disappointment. From now on I have learned to trust the reviews and avoid going to places with almost all negative reviews. This is why I'm leaving this review in hopes of saving someone else from having a similar experience in such a beautiful place-Niagara Falls. A message to the management - People come to Niagara Falls to have a good time and enjoy their night. Everyone has over 100 places to choose, from where they could dine in or take out food. If someone walks into your restaurant, the least you can do is show a drop of kindness. The only reason we did not wait for the police that day is because my sister was so anxious and felt very uncomfortable in regards to the whole situation. It is truly sad that from now on I will have to be so careful before walking into a restaurant, in order to make sure my little sister does not have to feel that way again. The least you could do is try to create a safe and peaceful place for people. Anyways, as you say to most of the people on here, have a great rest of your night!

I food didn’t taste or smell good. Price was high. Also they charged tips without even consulting us and we had to pay that. Will never go there.

Definitely not worth the $85 bill. The male server taking the order seems like he hates his job and is not courteous with customers at all. The chicken hariyali tasted ok but when we asked for some more sliced onions the male server rudely said you can only order an onion salad which costs $3 (they couldn’t even replace something as simple as that) The burnt garlic rice was nice but too salty and the cocktails had absolutely no alcohol in them, just sugar. The Delhi style chicken momos tasted like frozen dumplings tossed in mayo. No spice at all. Also, Who puts whipped cream in a falooda???!! This place is definitely trying to cater more to Canadians who are not familiar with Indian food and hence the weird desserts and dishes.

Sorry to say but the food was not good Not even a single item Karahi paneer was just having a tangy and spciy flavour not the taste you expect if you are gonna pay 18$ for it And talking about Momos big red flag please don’t try them they are just waste of spending even a single dollar . Adding one extra star just because the server was polite humble and he replaced it with desert. Not a place to gave a nice expecting dinner.

The food was delicious! It was our 1st time eating Indian food as a family. I myself like it. My kids really loved their dishes. The menu has a variety of proteins and is vegetarian friendly. We dined outdoors. The patio was clean. I just wish the music was more family friendly. Overall the experience was great!

NOTE: NOT A PAID REVIEW. When I first heard about the restaurant, I was hesitant to go due to the negative reviews. However, my experience at the restaurant was AMAZING!! and it totally changed my opinion. The food was delicious and the ambience was great. I'm glad that I decided to take a chance and visit this place as it exceeded my expectations.

I Would not recommend to visit this place. over charged food with no taste. So I ordered dahi puri chat for $9 and I got this which you can see i photos. Then paid $25 for curry (sabji) that have no taste in it. And best part of this hotel was there rice, it not cooked properly. Also when we req. for salad (onions) it cost us $10 for salad on our bill. Over expensive place with no taste in there food.

Such a wonderful experience. This is the best Indian food I have tasted. Have had numerous dine in and take out experiences, all have been extraordinary. Always come here when I'm in the area. Most recent was a black lentil curry - apparently their signature dish - absolutely delicious. In fact we've tried numerous dishes - all delicious. Can't recommend them enough.

Do come here if you want average tasting fine Indian food. The quantity was so so, not worth what I paid for. Service was very slow. Had it been fast, at least they would have compensated. The taste is okay but you would definitely feel like you’re in an Indian restaurant. Great ambiance ! We tried : Paneer tikka masala - Tadka paneer (👍🏻) Veg jhal frazi (👎🏻) In both of these vegetarian dishes, paneer was hard and not at all soft.

Very very bad customer service, the washroom is not at all good. Lot of hygiene issues. When food is bad they don't replace it or ready to reimburse the money. This is not how they treat customers. Very disappointed and they don't respect us even after telling them we will complain to give hygiene department. The manager is rude and unfit to work in any restaurant in Canada.

Worst restaurant in Niagara !!! Firstly we ordered French fries for kids and they were stale when we tasted it the potato was smelling and tasted stale Next we ordered kalongi bengan and it was so freaking bad the taste was weird and we were a group of 10 people and none of us wanted to even eat further after tasting the food .. the guy who was taking order was absent minded we even ordered by mushroom curry and luckily he forgot to take the order and he said we haven’t placed the order inspite of repeating the order with mushroom curry.. we were so relieved that he forgot to take the order as we would guess how bad that could have been too .. never visiting this restaurant again and the washroom was smelling so bad that i guess they never clean them the tissues were all over the washroom .. Shame Attaching the picture we haven’t even touched it it was that awful

This is the first time I have been to the place. It's not that bad but needs some improvement. The chicken tikka masala was so yummy but I will prefer tandoori roti over Naan. Staff needs to be more active and the restaurant needs to employ more servers. The place is good and clean.

Amamzing Indian food, the wait is long but totally worth it, their starters are amamzing especially the lamb was melt in the mouth perfect. Even something as basic as dal fry was super delicious. I recommend the vindaloo for those who like spicy food ❤️

Ordered 2 plates of veg Momos paid 28$ for take out . They packed 12 Momos in one box and it doesn’t even look like momos not matched the taste. Price is high if you compare the quality and taste . Will never try again.

We ordered a tomato soup, honey garlic naan, two paneer dishes and the Aloo gobhi. While very tasty, the spice level was pretty extreme for three out of four of us, detracting from the experience (especially since no one checked on us to offer water refills, forcing us to get up and ask for more food on our own.) the restaurant interior was pretty with a nice mix of Indian and American pop music playing, but the benches had visible rips and a big fly buzzing around was def a downer. Overall tasty food, but service could be better and interior could use some refreshing

I don't understand all of the negative reviews?! This place is extremely good for authentic Indian food. Our dishes was hot, fresh and delicious. The Garlic Naan was amazing. Our server was kind, friendly, and even allowed one of our substitutions. I will be back. Thank you to the Chef also

Most disgusting Indian food I ever had in my life. The Paneer tikka was thick, big pieces and dry and there was no green pepper grilled and onions were given on the side, it clearly wasnt Tandoori panner tikka, the green chutney looked like water, poori of pani poori was not breakable with your fingers, we had to use a fork to break it, yellow dal tadka tasted like flour and it was so obnoxious that we couldnt even eat, service was absolutely abysmal, we ordered Pani puri and told the waiter that please make it mild as this is for kid but he totally ignored and got the regular spicy one. Every dish we ordered was in hope that it would be better than the previous... we were 7 of us so they charged us mandatory gratuity but they didnt deserve it. We had to talk to the manager and complain about the food, he said this is the way paneer tikka is made at Moksha. They also didnt have any local and known beers like stella, heineken, coronal, budweiser etc. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and I will never visit this restaurant again. The only shining light was the owner agreed to some of our feedback & didnt charge for 2 items.

Amazing food! They served fresh, hot, well presented and well prepared food. Menu has bunch of appetizer options but limited main course options. Decent price, customer service was great. Not long waiting time as it took only 10 minutes for us. The dining experience overall was avearage. It need some cleaning. Adding pictures for reference.

+ Great ambiance + Open late (till 11pm) + Fast service - Tandoori Mixed Grill tasted odd to say the least. Plus the red sauce smelt like it had alcohol in it. Threw it all out - Overpriced by a long shot + Gulab jamun & masala chai was the only good thing

We had momos, dahi puri and the main course. Everything was amazing but the momos they were yummmm! The best momos I have had in Niagara Falls. The service was amazing too, Thankyou Anu for helping us in choosing the best.

We ordered the paneer makhani, chaat papri and a few naan varieties. The chaat papri was crunchy and delicious, and the paneer dish was pretty good too - very flavorful. The naans were hot & fresh and our takeout was ready in a timely manner.

Lovely cosy little restaurant with a big curry choice was just the ticket on a cold wet November night and Moksha did not disappoint! Their very reasonable prices and their wide choice of dishes presented me with many options but I went with my old favorite of a Chicken Tikka Masala and it was excellent 👌👌. Presentation was amazing with a good serving of Rice, a nice bowl of curry, a side of spicy vegetable and a Popudum artfully shaped like a swan! The curry was very tasty and although only a medium spice level I enjoyed the thick creamy sauce along with a Garlic Naan. This was a very very good curry and I highly recommend a visit to Moksha. I will be back for sure!

Marlea and I had a late lunch on Friday , it was great to dine in again here at Moksha . Amazing food and superb service by Ruchi . We had Masala Fries Supreme to start ( OMG, they were Ultimate !!) Then Marlea had Daal Makani & I had Bindi . It was so good , we sure missed coming here, as we moved to a another town . We'll be back everytime we visit Niagara Falls. Awesome Vegan selection 👌🏼

My fiance and I love this restaurant! We were greeted by a smiling and friendly Piyush. Delicious authentic Indian food and plenty of vegan options (appetizers and main courses) Beautiful atmosphere and the rest of the staff also very courteous and helpful. The restaurant and restrooms are extremely clean. We visited Niagara Falls for our Anniversary and came across this little gem. We will definitely return.

Worst experience ever . Service is so poor and staff members are not supportive at all. They are taking so much time for preparing the food. For single item dal tadka they took 30 mins to get ready and it was not even hot too. I would suggest avoid this restaurant and prefer not to go there.

Fantastic spicy Punjabi food with generous portions. Good for a cool day. Jal jeera is a must try. Butter naans and the curries were good. Moksha curry with naan was the best of what we ordered. The veg mixed jalfrezi was lovely.

We don't have a lot of experience with Indian food. We really enjoyed the food here. The Biryani was a large portion. Everything was delicious!

We should have read the reviews before going to this restaurant. We asked someone for a recommendation and we wish we hadn't. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I had to select a star but this place doesn't even deserve the one star I gave it. The attached picture says it all. My Butter Chicken was burnt. We eat East Indian food regularly so we know that it shouldn't be like this. Find somewhere else to eat.

Great location, Good Food and Friendly service. We went early after the boat ride and were hungry. It was cold and was craving some spicy food. Buttery Daal Makhni was simply divine. Tandoori chicken was good and Roti was fresh and Crisp. Even amazing was the Madras IPA they served. Nostalgic memories of Old Madras days. Strong, Hoppy, bitter IPA. Lovely dinner

I was a bit skeptical because of the reviews but decided to give this a try. We had a great experience, from the food to service. Staff was really friendly and service was quick. We went for lunch on a weekend and opted to sit on the patio. The patio was empty and the place wasn't crowded, probably because we went for a late lunch. In terms of food, we ordered corn dogs, chicken kabab, dal makhani and karahi paneer. I will absolutely recommend the chicken and corn dogs. The portion size was really good and the food tasted delicious. Zero complaints from my experience.

I had the food numerous times at Fallsview events (backyard BBQ and Celebrity Chef Dine About) and every time it has been delicious! They are very accommodating to vegetarians/vegans and the food is so flavourful! I definitely will be dining in soon :)
