Favorite place to eat in Western NY, we go there for most family celebrations. Service is attentive and their portions are perfect. I recommend this place to anyone visiting the Falls area.

2023.04 I would highly recommend this restaurant. Their tomato sauce was the best we had ever had; their calzone was so tasty and fulfilling; the “taste of Italy” combo was a good way to try out multiple dishes. Friendly staff, quick service. A tip: the restaurant could get very busy for dinner time so come early if you can.

Michael’s is a small restaurant on the edge of Little Italy. It doesn’t look very impressive from the outside but don’t let that stop you from eating here! The pasta, red sauce, and bread are made in house. The food was delicious and we were given large portion sizes, enough to enjoy the leftovers for lunch the next day. I had the ziti and my husband had the beef on deck, both meals were great! The server was prompt and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. Don’t hesitate to eat here!

Local Italian joint in Little Italy, Niagara with homestyle feel and comfort foods. Started with Beans and Greens Soup and a side of Meatballs in Sauce (incredibly tender and smooth flavor). For the entree, we had Lasagna and upgraded to the Chef Salad with Rolled Mozzarella.....oh so fresh and delicious! Lasagna had a cheesy, scrumptious balance of flavors. Nice atmosphere, street parking available.

We were in town to visit Niagra falls. We stopped by on a whim and had amazing service. Our waitress was wonderful. The Italian wedding soup was amazing,if they sold it by the pint I'd of bought it. I got the fettuccine Alfredo and it was great and the portion was huge. Everyone with us enjoyed what they got. The eggplant Parm was massive and delicious. If your in town try Michael's you won't be disappointed.

Small, “nothing fancy” decor, genuine Italian restaurant. The salad was made distinctive by the rolls of mozzarella on top, yum! I ordered the “Tour of Italy” which featured fettuccine Alfredo, chicken Parmesan, and ravioli. All pretty good. Portions are huge! Red sauce was ok. Service was quick and efficient. My husband says the soup was very good, the meatballs were really good but small. Cheese sticks were good. I would come back if I was local but, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a special occasion.

Very fast service. Ordered the eggplant with spaghetti. Huge portions, I could have split with my husband. Love that they give you water right when you sit down. The bread was also amazing.

Absolutely delicious, Me and my wife come here every time we go to Niagara falls from Cleveland Ohio. Best Italian place in town. It's a little off the beaten pad but totally worth it.

Food is always hot and fresh. If you haven't tried their wings, give them a chance. The Chef with the rolled mozzarella is a must try. The fried Calzone was an absolute belly stuffer.

One of the best Italian restaurants in Niagara Falls. Pasta is always amazing, from the lasagna to even the kids menu. Fish fry is always on point and all is well worth it. Also the amazing staff are always courteous and very efficient, making the customer feel great eating in or taking out.

This is a down-to-earth restaurant. it is not fancy. the man's room is tiny. Some of the booths could use new upholstery. Now that we have that out of the way, let's talk about how delicious the food is. The greens and beans are spectacular. The chef salad is great. Word to the owners, this chef salad is expensive considering the ambiance, so be very careful to go back to the old way of making it. It has definitely lost a step or two over the years, but it's still pretty unique. Their spaghetti sauce is delicious, and their italian food in general is very good. No matter what time of day you go, you'll find people chatting over coffee and sneaking another bite of their dessert. Pack up the children, amd your sweet auntie Marie, and adorable momma Martha, and let Michael's do the rest. Bon appetito. Ciao

Friday's fish fry was real good.Do not order the chicken wings though. They were freezer burnt and beyond dry.I should have saved the chicken wing idea for a pizzeria.

Great waiter. Taller newish guy with the short hair was super cool and stayed on top of everything. Thanks so much! Food was definitely large portions. Come with an empty stomach for sure 😊. Had the calzone and taste of Italy. Both large dishes.

Wow! This place was fantastic! They sat our party of nine easily in connecting booths. We called 20 minutes ahead to let them know we were coming. The food was great, and the portions were huge. They do have half-portions on the menu. My mom and I shared a meal, but we could have shared a half-portion and been full. The swrvice was fast, and we seemed to have 3 waitresses attending to us. Everyone at our table loved their meal. I'd recommend their Taste of Italy main and Beans and Greens soup.

I have been going to Michael's for years. The food and service are consistently good. The food is so delicious that I crave it and drive 20 minutes for takeout. The price are very reasonable.

This is a lovely little Italian dive! The food was DELICIOUS! I got the fettuccine alfredo, which was a giant portion and comes with soup or salad. I got the meatball barley soup and it was also scrumptious! A neverending supply of bread was available. My mom got the lasagna and loved it. Grandpa enjoyed his ravioli. My dad and husband both got the Tour of Italy, which was so much food!!! Wonderful wait staff paid good attention to our needs and were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Michael's never disappoints! Absolutely my favorite local Italian restaurant, although they do have "American" fare available. The portions are HUGE, I've never left there without having at least half of my meal to take home. I finally tried their calzone this time. It was phenomenally delicious and positively gigantic! This will always be my go-to when I'm in the mood for homemade Italian food (unless my mom is available!).

I'm 65 and I've been going to Micheál's all my life. My Mother used to work there in her young adult life. I was raised with grandparents and my Great Grandmother and her son, my Grandfather who was the cook in the house. I knew real Italian Tomato sauce. We had it every Sunday and Thursday. Michael's is the most like the sauce we made at home. Their meatballs are excellent also, great seasoned Italian sauce. Whenever I go there, I have to have something with Italian tomato sauce. I very highly recommend this small restaurant. And it's sometimes very busy, with people waiting outside the door .

We had the Taste of Italy and the half order of lasagna. Oh my. The food was wonderful and the portions were huge. Trust me, get the half order. You won't be able to eat any more than that.

6pm Tuesday dinner, very crowded & noisy :) Family all trying to talk & enjoy dinner together. Closed on Mondays & Cash Only (ATM inside) Our server was Friendly, answered any questions & double checked on how we liked our orders!

Price on their official website listed the fish dinner as $10.50. When we got ro the restaurant, we were charged $13.95 for each dinner. We purchased 7 dinners. Their official website needs updating. I would have made different choices for food.

Great food (large portions) and great service! My family of 6 all got different meals...fett. alfredo, chick. parm., calamari appetizer, gnoochi and my wife and I split the calzone (it was huge). Everybody loved their food. Parking is a little tricky (we werent from around there). We will go back again when we visit next time

Why anyone gave this Niagara Falls "institution" 4.5☆ is nuts. The food definitely tasted like "institution" food! Comparable to canned mushy ravioli! Sausage dry, flavorless, salad made of head lettuce and a couple of cherry tomatoes only. Service was poor quality as well. Tourists, don't believe the 4.5☆! Nasty food! Not a clean place either. Dirty spoon with crusted on food from someone else, and other utensils had spots. Gross. 2☆ is more than generous for this Niagara Falls embarrassment.

Visited for dinner on Thursday, April 21st. Atmosphere is dark and dated. Poor lighting in a rough looking neighborhood. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful but the positives end there. We ordered a pizza with cheese and half pepperoni. The chef made a pizza with cheese literally only on half. My wife ordered a chef's salad that only had lettuce, rolled up cheese, 3 grape tomatoes, and 2 pickles. It tasted okay but she expected more than that for a chef's salad. I ordered the Chicken Parm and there was so much deep fry oil on it, it tasted like they scooped a bunch of oil on top when it came out. Literally every cut from my fork had oil pouring out of the chicken. They also had maybe 1 tablespoon of sauce on top. The waitress was kind enough to bring out extra sauce. I also ordered a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. These tasted exactly like instant potatoes. Don't recommend at all. I had higher hopes based on their reviews.
