We stumbled upon this place, and glad we did. It’s part of the culinary institute and is primarily staffed by students who rotate positions to get experience in front of house and the kitchen . It’s a prix fixe menu - lunch is 2 courses and dinner is 3 courses. Everything was very good and the portions are quite generous. The service was attentive and friendly. Make sure you make a reservation because it will book up. They are not able to accept tips but instead you can leave a donation to the institute with your bill.

The food was great and our server, Ana, did an amazing job and was super friendly. The kids at this school did a great job. All "tips" go to a scholarship fund.

Must visit in Niagara Falls! This restaurant is run by students (both waiters and cooks) and for this reason it is way cheaper than other restaurants in Niagara but the quality of the food is very good! Make sure you reserve a table in high season and you won't regret it.

We went there for my boyfriend’s birthday. Our dinner was delicious. The appetizer, main entree, and dessert were perfect! We all (4) had different plates, and we loved them all. Service was excellent, too.

What a wonderful dining experience. It’s a $30 prefix menu. I had strawberry salad and the trout. I don’t drink alcohol so asked for a mocktail and got a delicious Moscow mule. Make reservations in advance but it is worth waiting for!

I chose Savor for a birthday dinner for my husband. Niagara Falls on both the Canadian side and US side is very much a tourist trap with all the usual fast food places, so I was delighted to find Savor, which is run by the students of the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute. The dishes are all very original, well thought out, and beautifully presented. The delicious assault on your taste buds will delight and amaze. Vegetarians, meat, and seafood lovers will not be disappointed with this gem of a restaurant. And if you crave desserts like me, this is THE PLACE! From the gracious dining room to the excellent service, Savor has achieved the highest standards and quality. We will definitely be back and happy to support the students! The Bonds, Ohio.

Enjoyable and very reasonable priced. It is a school, but they are really great to dine with. Almost more enjoyable than high end service. The students work harder then plain service. They are learning and really want to earn passing marks. Ohhhh, and the dessert is phenomenal.

This place is fantastic! The food is so so good, especially considering the price! I had the BLT Naan Flatbread, the Trout with asparagus, and the chocolate peanut butter pyramid. All were delicious!!

This is part of the Niagara Culinary Institute, and serves lunch and dinner 3 days a week (for now). Menu is prix fixe, and very reasonable at $30 for a dinner of salad, entree and dessart. Cocktails available at the bar, beer & wine at the table. Started with a bread plate, 3 types of rolls, with pickles, hummus, & maple butter as condiments. Chose the bruleed pear & walnut salad, spouse had beets & tahini salad (could have used just a little more tahini, in his opinion). Entrees were shrimp cavatelli and (panko?) breaded walleye; both were excellent! Had 4 choices for dessert, opted for a lemon blueberry bombe (picture attached) & a vegan berry tart/galette. Finished and enjoyed every bite. Did fill out the survey, as this provides info as to how the students did. Wish it was open on weekends, too.

Humble and decadent at once, a culinary school that serves the best plates in town, with earnest care and memorable flavors and textures. A variety of beers and spirits to wash down carefully constructed prix fixe sequences. Relaxed vibes for formal food, come early at peak times, there are capacity limits. Still thinking about my meal weeks later. A gem of Niagara. Patience required for busy moments - arrive early! Yum.

I don’t even know where to begin. The dining area was clean, tidy and well-staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed the collaboration of different departments from the culinary school. Every aspect was just delightful. My mom has some tricky food allergies and limitations, and not only did the staff go above and beyond to understand her restrictions, but the chef visited the table and made amazing adjustments on the spot for her. The food was executed better than some of the restaurants that my husband and I frequent at home. If we lived closer, we’d come here all the time! I had the crab Mac n Cheese and the maple creme brûlée, which literally had me thinking I was eating a pancake except for the texture. Excellent job to the wait staff, chefs, and the school for cultivating this dining experience for your students and for all of us. Bravo!

Tried this place based on excellent reviews and of course support the culinary school and students. The 3 course menu costs $35, with adequate choices of appetizer/salad, main dish and dessert. This is an excellent deal considering that the quality of the food is comparable to a high-end restaurant. The service is friendly and professional. Definitely recommended. Reservation a must.

Great experience at the Niagara Culinary Institute for a moderate fixed price of $35/person. My wife had one the best risottos in years!

Be sure to dine here during your visit to Niagara Falls! They are a culinary school so you should first check if they are open and make reservations online. We visited in November and experienced a prix fixe fine dining experience. Ordered wine and beer too. Stayed at the Hyatt across the street which made it very convenient. The food, service and ambiance were excellent. I highly recommended this restaurant.

This is an interesting concept. The restaurant is basically a hospitality and culinary hands-on classroom for students at Niagara County Community College. Because it's a school program, prices for a fixed price meal here are less than what other restaurants would charge. But, there's a downside to this. It's a very hit or miss experience. You may get lucky and get a good meal for the money. Or you may end up with food that's barely edible (or even gross). Even if you play it safe by ordering something familiar that you'd normally order elsewhere, it may still be a severe disappointment. Even the pub style lunch menu items here can be a huge disappointment. Food that's difficult to mess up can easily be messed up here. That's the risk you take by eating here. As far as the service, remember that these are students who are still learning, so don't expect much. Sometimes, however, you may get wowed by a student server who is so impressive that you'll wish that tipping was allowed here. All in all, I have to rate this a two because when the food is bad, it's really bad. I've tried it a few times and am done coming here. But, I wouldn't discourage others from giving this place a try. You're supporting the education of NCCC students after all and are also supporting the presence of a nicely maintained building in Niagara Falls that might otherwise be vacant.

Everything was fantastic! The service, the busy kitchen atmosphere, and the food....just outstanding! The cod is top note.

Hands down the best place to eat in the tourist / downtown area. Everything else is mostly friend / junk food. This food is incredible. They also have healthy options which is hard to find nearby. The dinner menu is a steal at a $35 prix fix and they even have a 3 course kids menu for $8. Food is cooked by students from the culinary school and the wait staff are also students from the culinary school. So worth it. I LOVED the strawberry salad and bucatini puttanesca.

Best food I've had in years! Especially for the price! $35/person for an Excellent 3 Course Meal!! I highly Recommend!! Check the hours, not open everyday. Culinary Student Ran Restaurant! Very Awesome! I was blown away with the quality of the food! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Fantastic food, fantastic service and very reasonably priced. I had the mussels, trout and crème brûlée as part of the three course offering and cannot be happier with my decisions. Everything on the menu looked great coming out. We will be back.

Cannot recommend highly enough. would give it one more star if I could. Superior dining at very reasonable prices. Nice, upscale type setting. And the food is outstanding. $18 [prix-fixe] for bread and 3 types of toppings( butter ,hummus, herb butter) appetizers ( tomatoe and bleu cheese soup) main course ( a burger that was 2x as thick as usual &fries) and A cookie for dessert. The cooks and servers are culinary students. And you know they are trying their best.

We love the entire concept of Savor: giving young NCC Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Cooks, Pastry students hands on experience in an actual working environment. Aside from that out 1st experience at Savor was wonderful! From the moment we entered the hospitality & service was 5 stars! Our food was creative , timely & delicious! Cudos to these young Culinary Art Students & their teachers! We're definitely coming back!

Was the BEST dinner experience I've had by far. Very accommodating to dietary restrictions, including vegan. I'm so glad to have experienced this, will definitely be coming back!

So happy we heard about this place. Words alone can’t describe how great it really is. Tough to get in on the weekends but once you are there,it’s a amazing experience. It is run by the culinary institute with the students greeting and cooking. They are as good as chefs in other restaurants. They are so friendly and our determined to make sure you are happy. Problem with your meal? They take it back no questions asked and fix it. Dinner is 3 courses and well worth the price. My family and I are making this our top restaurant to eat there. The atmosphere is so soothing. Get there early if you want to relax . My advice, go and tell others. Support these young chefs

Niagara Falls, NY best kept secret. We had an amazing dining experience here. The food was top notch and service is impeccable. We had reservations to celebrate my husband's birthday and he enjoyed every minute. Savor is doing a great job, hats off to the students & staff! 5 stars!!!
