We found Koban’s while searching for good pierogies near Niagara Falls. What we found was that everything we tried was so far beyond good! We started out with cheese & sauerkraut pierogies, which our kids loved and gobbled down quickly. We followed with Buffalo wings, which were perfectly crispy with a light, flavorful sauce and amazing, substantial bleu cheese. Our son ordered the lasagna with mushrooms, and the piece almost overflowed the plate! Our daughter ordered a chef salad and the French onion soup, which had a deep, savory flavor and thick, chewy & crispy cheese. My husband ordered a double helping of the meatloaf special, which was the ultimate comfort food plate with green beans and mashed potatoes on the side. In the 21 years we have been married, I think he has asked for a to-go box fewer than 5 times, but he needed one for a good bit of food he couldn’t muster. I had a spinach salad with the house dressing, which didn’t contain sugar and was a delicious, tangy mustard-flavored concoction. Our server, Mary, was an adorable, precious lady who made us feel like we were visit family for dinner and catered to our every need with her sweet & clever disposition. Our only regret is that we can’t transport this amazing restaurant home with us to Georgia! Would give 10 stars if I could!!!

This was my first time at Kobans; and I have to say that out of all the places I've been to they are the absolute best. 5/5 in all categories: Cleanliness Friendliness Presentation Atmosphere Timeliness Taste Quality Everything was fantastic. we were greeted right away and seated just as quickly. The staff was super friendly and worked well together. The menu had plenty of options for everyone. Our server was fantastic and she made a great wine suggestion for us, which went over really well. I heard great things about Kobans perogies and so we had to try them. I can't even describe how good they were. I will never be able to go back to prepackaged perogies. Then we all had the fish fry. I am a VERY picky person when it comes to fish. Kobans totally nailed it. I could go on for pages about how great everything was. let me simply say that you will not find better service or better food anywhere else in the Falls.

Took a chance on Kobans by recommendation and were NOT disappointed. Food prices were reasonable and the menu is extensive! Their daily specials are hard to pass up. But more than anything, the portions are WELL worth the visit, especially when you order and the questions about what sides you want keep coming. Garlic bread is a must! Great spot

All of the food was cooked to perfection, the service from our server Mya, the other servers and the bar tender was great and their wine went great with the food. We had the grilled haddock, NY Strip, fried shrimp and fried mushrooms.

I Enjoyed dining here tonight. Restaurant was half full and cozy. Nice lighting, not to bright. My Steak was good, would be much better if they used seasoning on it. My Husband really liked the fish fry. Good friendly service and a good dinner. I do recommend this place.

What an amazing place, the staff are wonderful, the menu has something for everyone. The pierogies! There are no works for how delectable they are we tried 1 of each. I had the NY Strip that was perfect and Louie got the special which was Liver and onions , this is one of his favorite dishes not for everyone but he loved it, thank you Kobans for a truly wonderful meal.

Small, comfy, clean. Great service. Large menu. Had the breaded fish fry, soo good!! 8 of us for dinner, not one complaint about any of the meals. Except, maybe, the butter for the bread was straight out of the fridge hard, so not ideal for buttering the bread. Will be back, soon.

Very homey atmosphere and great waiting staff. Had the most delicious french onion soup and salad with homemade dressing. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone staying near here during their trip to Niagra Falls.

This is the best broiled fish and big bake potato!!! Service was just right. Back again......9/15/19.... If you haven't been here give it a try. If I didn't live out of town we would be here often. French onion soup... hot & tasty😋

Family owned and operated, food was very good, good portions and a very friendly staff. Bonus is there is a playground right next door so if you need to occupy kids well waiting for food it is perfect

Went here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. It looks like a dive bar from the front and when you walk in but dont let that fool you in regards to the food. I had the fish fry, salad with homeade vinaigrette, sauteed mushrooms and French onion soup. It was really good. Fish fry was beer battered, hot and flaky. Sauteed mushrooms were fresh and not canned. The homemade vinaigrette was very tasty. The French onion soup had a lot of flavor and wonderfully melted provolone on top. To finish I had the Snowflake which is vanilla ice cream with coconut flakes and chocolate syrup. Very tasty. Parking is mostly on street with a little in a small parking lot. Prices are fair for the quality of the food. The dining room is a decent size for what seems like a small place from the outside. I will definitely be back here. This is a great place for small or large groups of all ages and tastes.

Such a nice place with friendly staff and good quality food that's home made. Ambiance is very homey and intimate. Quiet and enjoyable.
