Nice little family restaurant that had a great atmosphere. I wanted a small place to grab a quick bite in the area and was please with their food. The service was good and I would most definitely return if in the area.

The Sunshine Cafe is a great dinner! It looked like this place had regulars, and that type of comfort for a small business feels amazing. The service was great, our waitress was very nice. The food was fantastic. The rye bread tasted so incredibly fresh, probably the best I've had from a restaurant. The eggs were some of the best I've had in a while too. Quick side note, it is cash only, but they have an ATM in the restaurant too!

The food was amazing and really affordable! But the experience was made really exceptional for me by the kind and caring staff that went out of their way to make sure that I was taken care of. I will definitely be coming back ASAP 😊

The place is small town American cafe. Menu was authentic but the lady charged $35 for pancakes, kids pancake and baggel with 2 coffees. According to menu it's $20 and change but she billed $34.54. Gave $40.54 so she can give $6 change but she gave $5 back. On top I gave $1 tip too. Its OK if they want more but charging wrongly is fraud. Hope they can do fair practice.

Very down to earth environment, the dining area is small, but relaxed and the service was good. Kids loved the pancakes. Food was tasty, but pretty standard overall. I’d eat there again, but it definitely didn’t make my top 10.

Cute little breakfast spot near Niagara Falls. We love small local places and we had a great experience. The food was delicious, waffle was a little chewy but everything else was amazing (highly recommend the home fries). Service was great; Lisa was very kind and welcoming. If we were locals, we'd eat here often.

Finding a proper place to park was a little hard, but the owner was very welcoming & great at her job. We had to run sadly, so the french toast & breakfast sandwich were a great size(& of course tasty) for such.

This out-of-towner unexpectedly needed to spend the night on Grand Island and went to Sunshine Cafe for a nice hearty breakfast. I fell in love the second I walked in the door! The breakfast bar was full of regulars (I assume from the way they were all chatting with each other and the staff) so I took a corner booth and was immediately offered coffee by my server, who was incredibly warm and welcoming. I ordered the Sunshine Breakfast, which was delicious. It sounds strange, but it was some of the best toast I’ve ever had! This cozy little spot is family-owned and obviously a hallmark of their town, with good reason! It felt as if the staff loves the cafe as much as the patrons do, which makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Breakfast came to a little over $10, which is a bargain for how much I enjoyed my meal and my time there. It is cash only, but they have an ATM in case you find yourself with an empty wallet. If I ever find myself back in the area, I will absolutely be stopping in again!

Nice local breakfast and lunch diner style restaurant. Good food and even better service. This is a very comfortable place with many local customers. Prices are fair but portions are a bit small. Understandable as inflation has hit hard. The interior is small but cozy. The staff work very hard to keep everyone fed and happy. Parking is in the rear.

What I really like about this place is the hot chocolate is good and there service is great but it is also is family friendly

We got to this place to taste local food and experience a small town outside the city during a trip to Toronto and Niagara Falls. The price was fair, considering the service, food quality, and location. The food quality was ok, nothing out of the ordinary, and it tasted like homemade food with regular supermarket ingredients. Some Staff members could be more friendly to foreign travelers and travelers with animals. Not American Express Friendly, Nor other Credit Cards. Cash only! There's an ATM inside the shop that will charge a fee.

Sunshine Cafe checks every box and more for a great local hole-in-the-wall: friendly service, delicious food, fresh coffee, chatty regulars (always a good sign when the patrons and staff know each other by name)... the list goes on! The interior is a little dated but that adds to its charm. Everything was very clean. Even on a Thursday morning there was a decent crowd, and that was considered "slow" by our server. My husband had the steak and eggs special which was delicious and cooked exactly as he requested, and I had "The Mixer" (scrambled eggs, cheese, home fries, peppers, and onions) which was fantastic! We're new to the area and live within walking distance of Sunshine Cafe, and we're looking forward to making this a regular spot.

Very wonderful experience and delicious breakfast!! Highly recommend! The owner was so sweet and gave us lotto tickets for Christmas and Christmas cookies!! Biscuits and gravy was spot on !! Way better than cracker barrel

Tiny little diner about 10 minutes from the American Falls. Talk about a hidden gem, everything was great! We had chocolate chip pancakes, sausage (links and patties), strawberry french toast, blue berry waffles and bacon, and it was all really good. The only time in recent history I can remember every single one of us finishing our plates. Don’t sleep on the Sunshine! It rocks. Be aware though, they only take cash, they do offer an on site atm though.

The staff and food are excellent. I had the wedding cabbage soup and Italian bread toast, yummy! My husband, steak and eggs. The steak was perfectly the steak rare, just as requested. He actually finished all of his hash browns. The place is small and comfortable.

Great little cash only diner. We were in town for a weekend get away, our motel recommended this diner. Great food, excellent service, super friendly. The added touch that sent it over the top was they gave fathers a cupcake and an instant lottery ticket for father's day. We will definitely love to come back the next time we get up to the falls

Was thoroughly impressed with the amount of food for the price. The taste of food was great. Need to work on their tea, that's why only 4 stars. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting Niagara Falls.

Our first time in Niagara and found Sunshine cafe on google “things to do”. Not only was the food amazing, I had steak and eggs and my bf had the meat platter with eggs; Lisa is such a literal ray of sunshine. She has such a warm spirit and gave us GREAT recommendations for our trip, so far we’ve done everything she said and this has been a phenomenal trip. She told us to wait until tomorrow, after it snows, to see the falls and based off all of her other recommendations being great, we’re gonna do it. I can’t wait to see the falls, I know they’re going ti be breath taking like she said. If you need some great food and a great trip adviser, Lisa and Sunshine cafe is your best bet. My family stopped here for a late breakfast. We are visiting the falls from Virginia. The 2 women running the business were super friendly. Food was pretty good. Mine needed salt and the home fries tasted kind of old and cold. My husband and son said there's were cooked perfectly. I guess I got some leftover stuff maybe. I just didn't eat them which was disappointing because I paid extra. My husband did not want me to complain partly because we needed to get on the road and didn't have time to wait for a fresh batch. Also, the inside is kind of worn down and cluttered so it could use some cleaning up. But this is definitely a local spot so I'm sure this is fine with their regulars. Just would have been nice if it were a little cleaner. Overall I liked it though. I'd probably give it another chance if we were in town again.

Fantastic experience at Sunshine cafe. Our waitress, Stephanie, was very personable, friendly, and helpful during our ordering. The breakfast was excellent, and she kept our coffee cups full, with a smile and a joke. The home fries were fantastic, freshly made. I do think the two eggs, two pancakes and two sausage should be a standard Vinarino trio duos item ;) The outside seating was perfect on a gorgeous day.
