The original and the best Viola's! Greatest submarines n Hoagies in the Falls maybe even the world. They have been at this location since 1958 one bite and its easy to tell why!! Its always been a special treat for me my whole life to come there and get one. Quality, Taste and Employees make this sub Great💗. No one can duplicate your flavor on Elmwood!! TIPS: + YES, Absolutely TIP!!! + BRING CASH!, because this Amazing "old school" landmark doesn't process cards + Definitely add fried onions & peppers! This historic old flat-top grill creates fried "candy-like" flavors of legend!

I can't say enough about this place it's got one of the best steak and cheese subs around and I even like it better than their location on military

After recently moving to Niagara Falls NY from out-of-state, we were looking for places to get good food in our new neighborhood. I came across this gem just a few blocks away. Honestly, I would drive across town for these subs. They were excellent and the service was fantastic. Nice, personable and lovely workers make your sub right in front of you. My husband and I had different subs and they were both delicious. I will be back often!! A new favorite.

If your in the neighborhood and you don't know about this place, you better ask somebody... Don't forget the NAPKIN'S... You will thank me for this recommendation

Double Steak Double cheese loaded with Veggies. Always the absolute best!

The steak and cheese was so good! Little irritating there's only the option for take out and the older woman working had an attitude.

When you see an oldskool menu like theirs, you know it'll be good. Steak &cheese is excellent.

I grew up on Viola steak and cheese subs. Every time I come to visit, this is the first stop as I cross the grand island bridge into the Falls. Treated the wife and stepson to a cheese steak, and they both stated "this is the best cheese steak I've ever had!" It was so good as always. Currently the inside seating area is under renovations, so it is only takeaway service at the side window, and cash only.

If you want good food at a good price this is the place me and my girlfriend eat here at least twice a week best steak and cheese sub I've ever had!

Best steak sandwich in town in my opinion

If you're in this area and aren't eating here, you're missing out. Hidden gem in the Falls, you need to come here.

Tables inside are still not available. Had to find a picnic table at Hyde Park. Prices have gone up, like everywhere else. Parking is on street.

The best steak and cheese in the state. Only "wish" on the wish list is to be able to eat in at this particular location. That is allowed at the Military Road location however.

786 miles away and still think about these subs all the time. You can't beat them. Grandma Albina Merante worked there 40+ years, and it's the taste of childhood. Can't wait til my next one!
