The food was delicious! We got chicken wings (boneless and regular), chicken tenders, waffles & chicken, and a shrimp basket . Everything was super and our waitress, Ashley, was very friendly, attentive and awesome! We loved the place!! ❤️❤️

The appetizer platter is really good. The fries are amazing. The onion rings and chicken tenders are spot on. The pizza logs were good, but could have been fried about 30 seconds more. The duck wings are excellent, although maybe spicier than one would expect. My wife ordered the PB&J burger, and she was left quite disappointed by it. The beef of the burger itself had no flavor to it. I ordered the Boar burger. I quite enjoyed it, although the meat itself tasted rather bland to me. It was the first time that I've ever had boar, so I'm not sure if the meat is supposed to taste that way, or if it was under-seasoned. The house root beer is a must try. We had the funfetti cake and raspberry cheesecake for dessert. Both were very yummy.

I don’t usually write reviews but I just HAD to write one for our amazing experience! We made reservations for dinner a week in advance. When we arrived, we were told that our table was not ready but would hopefully be ready soon. We sat patiently and after 10-15 min we were offered a complimentary round of beverages for the wait. We received them (delicious!) and shortly after that we were seated. I’m in the restaurant industry so that customer service right there was on point! I’m the type of person that has a lot of patience anyways, but the fact that we were offered a beverage due to our wait made our day! My husband and I thought right away, sweet! The night is starting off great! Little did we know it would get much better! We had an amazing server, Angelina. She was fantastic! She knew the menu and offered great choices for us on what to try. She is the type of server all restaurants need. Down to earth, knowledgeable, and attentive! The flavor of everything we tried even down to the French fries was on point! Incredible! Honestly! We loved everything. Thank you all for a fabulous evening. I will definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. We will also love to come back one day! Bravo to everyone! The host, server, bartender, and kitchen staff!

I went to this restaurant with my family hoping to try out some local beer. This ambiance of the bar had a rustic feel. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and portions. The flight of local beers and cider was a delight. Our waiter was friendly as well.

Me and the missus had an excellent meal. I had the potato soup and the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese with chicken. Barely dented the Mac and cheese, but it was heavenly. The wife had chicken tenders. Also great. Kelsey was a great server, very pleasant and helpful. We moved to the bar for after dinner drinks. The draft beer and wine selections are extensive. Amber took great care of us. Well done one and all.

On a spur of the moment trip from Cleveland to Niagara Falls we stopped to ask a metro park employee where would be a good place to get some food, and they suggest us to come here. Our server, Kelsey was awesome and super helpful. I got the wild game burger (lamb was the meat of the day) and it was melt in your mouth delicious. The atmosphere is very sophisticated with a rugged vibe. Drinks were good and food was top tier. Super impressed all around

Food was incredible! We were seated immediately and our server, Lauren, was so sweet. The fried grilled cheese bites were heavenly!! My husband had the shrimp po boy and I got the black and blue steak salad. Most delicious food we've had in the area. Will be back before we return home!! Props to the staff and chef!!

We had our lunch here while we visited Niagara Falls. Shell and Cheese - We ordered this dish for the kids and they loved it. It was cheesy and had perfect seasoning. Quantity was huge. (4/5) Bacon Jam Burger - One of the rare places where they ask our meat cooking preference (Rare, medium rare, medium and well done) for a burger. The patty is prepared fresh with different type of meat cuts. I ordered for a medium and it was cooked just like the way I ordered. The burger came with fried egg, arugula and fried onions, the taste was amazing. Even the buns were soft and perfect, not too soft or too hard (5/5) Vietnamese Pulled Pork Sandwich - The star of the show. The sandwich was rich in flavour of banh mi and juices flowing out with each bite. Not like a regular bbq pulled pork sandwich but we dig it. (5/5) Service was really good. Very prompt and friendly. Surprisingly the food was ready in 15 minutes. (5/5) Will visit again when I come to Niagara!

Very clean and cozy spot. Our waitress was the best - she was genuinely nice. Our food... Compliments to the cook for his presentation in plating our food. It was sooooooo good! Thank you for such memorable hospitality in your beautiful city.

This is the first place that I have been in a long time that the staff was super helpful with all the items on the menu!! She knew all of the items and had suggestions for what we were looking right on the money. She kept coming back to the table and making sure we were ok and never stopped smiling! I would love to go back here again but sadly this I feel was a one time experience as it is so far away! I suggest if you are in the area to go here and check it out!!!

Great Food!!! I had the fried grilled cheese, Mexican street corn dip and a side salad. The side salad was HUGE and the grilled cheese was great. Definitely pricey, about $45 with out my drink included. They also had tasty THC/CBD drinks!

Found the place through Google search, parking is a bit challenging, the atmosphere was excellent, it had that Pub vibe, the food was excellent and the waitress Kelsey was attentive, made sure we had what we needed and wanted, we were looking for something different and away from Niagara Falls prices, this place is all that, only 10 minutes away, different types of burger meats, kangaroo elk venison etc, very good, a Poutine that's very close to the original, wings cooked perfectly, and tater tots that are crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside. Everything we ordered was excellent. Highly recommend if u are coming to visit Niagara and or in the Buffalo area.

The family and I came up to niagara falls for the day and we were figuring out where to eat so this place came up and had good reviews so we booked reservations for 5:30. We got there around 5 and we got right in. Our server Angalina was awesome. She was so patient with our kids when they were ordering (there 6,9, and 10). She is probably one of the best server's we have had in a long time. The food was awesome and the service was exceptional. Next time we go to niagara falls again we will definitely come back for a bite to eat. Definitely 10 out of 10

The service from Khadija was five star. The food was five star. The drinks were five star. Why the deduction? A very strange exchange with an older blonde waitress who, after having a conversation with the bartender that was about me as they both stared at me as they spoke, she walked up and aggressively said, "Did you just seat yourself here?!" ( I had not, but if I had, is that the correct approach?) I'm not one to deduct for someone having a bad day but it was so strangely off-putting for that to be my introduction to the place and she did it so full of conviction that I'm pretty sure it wasn't her first rudeness rodeo. I made eye contact with her several times and she never approached to clarify or apologize. Setting her aside and her buddy the tall red headed bartender, the po' boy was very tasty as was the lamb burger. The fries were fresh made and the chipotle ranch was lovely. The chocolate peanut butter brownie cake was out of this world. And it was all brought to our table by sparkling Khadija who was working her tables with great attention and kindness despite working with a couple of hostiles. I'd come back as long as I could pick her section!

My very rarely give five stars all around for any restaurant, but this one certainly deserves it. It's not the fanciest restaurant ever but it's a gastropub. Plenty of great beers and amazing food to go alongside it. Was blown away at the variety of the menu, but even more impressed by the absolute amazing quality of the food when it arrived. Service was insanely fast and the prices were very average considering the quality of the food! 10 out of 10, will absolutely come back again if I am ever in this part of the country again!

This place was surprisingly good. Every meal had a little twist that made it unique, it makes me want to try everything on the menu, too bad that we live in Boston. We will definitely eat here again if we decide to spend another weekend here. The loaded potato soup was a huge surprise, I didn't know what to expect but Oh boy! you have to try it. Bacony-cheesy thick potato haven in a bowl. The salads were huge and delicious, the fried chicken burger tasted fresh and it was juicy, the bun was amazing too. Our waitress was energic and very kind, she made the experience even better. Thank you!

Jammie always has great research on where to go during our trips and this was no different. Watch out, it is a little hard to see the sign on the side of the road.  The reviews suggested a great drink called Chocolate Mound Town (it is a specialty cocktail that is not on the menu!). It is a creamy chocolatey alcoholic drink that is yummy!! It has little balls in it that I think have the alcohol in them. You do have to spend some time playing with your balls to get them all but they are yummy balls! The next thing I tried was called the Dirk Diggler which is a prickly pear margarita with vibrant green salt and a pink drink. Caution ⚠️ they go down fast and easy!! Jammie went way outside of her comfort zone and got the chicken and waffles which is the first time she tried them. It is a southern fried chicken with candied bacon, jalapeno coleslaw, cheddar cheese and a maple mayo all on a savory chive waffle. Watch out, eating it is a challenge but well worth it. Not sure any other chicken and waffles will stand up to that! I was much more timid and went with the steak sandwich with herb goat cheese and fried onions which was excellent. Save room for the fries because they are awesome too! Our experience was made even better by our waitress Angela! She had a great attitude, gave us friendly help on our choices, and was very attentive despite the fact that it was a very busy night and she was running around to many tables.

Cocktails are among the best we ever had! The added sugar on the sweet potato fries were a no no for me. Regular fries were really good. My wife says her Burger was amazing. The shrimp Po Boy was good except I didn't like the bread or the cole slaw. But this place is among the best food places I have eaten in America!!!

Loved this place! We were visiting out of town and saw it's reviews and menu. Absolutely lived up to its reputation. Family of 4 and all our food was delicious! Even the burger for the kids menu was great size. Our waitress was phenomenal! Shout out to Angelina, and we were greeted warmly when entering. Absolutely no complaints. Great place!

This was the first place we stopped at after arriving in Niagara Falls, NY. We were welcomed after we walked in. Staff was very friendly. I ordered the elk burger medium rare. Burger was very succulent and delectable. Taste was a little gamey but still delicious. Fries were perfectly seasoned, not too salty or bland. Prices were reasonable.

My husband and I travel frequently and this is probably our favorite restaurant we've come across. 20/10. Cannot say enough good things! The staff (especially our Server, Kelsey) is amazing and friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The food is to die for! Best fries I've ever eaten (and I know my way around potatoes!), period. The fried cat fish was absolutely heavenly and as big as my hand (see Pic for reference). If you can only pick one meal in Niagara Falls, NY or Buffalo, NY, make it The Griffon Gastropub. You'll thank me later! :)

Had a fish fry. The fish wasn't all the way cooked. The exterior was too hard to bite. They need someone that knows how to cook. I took my guy out for dinner and was embarrassed. We were also plagued with multiple trips to the bathroom when we got home. Bad experience. Nice restaurant, great customer service.

I stopped in here literally because they call their selves a gastro pub. True to the name, I ended up getting a kangaroo burger. It was delicious. It’s a nice distance outside the tourist trap of Niagara Falls. Would recommend to anyone in the area for a visit to stop here for lunch.

Food was great. Was here from out of town. Got the goat cheese balls and steak medallions. Both delicious. My old fashioned was not great but tons of craft beers on draft.

Great atmosphere and employees. Food was amazing! Great selection of beer and food on the menu. Be ready to spend a bit more though as the prices are not what you'd expect though the taste makes up for it for sure!!

WOW! How have we not known about this place?! It’s awesome! Server Kelsey provided exceptional service and the food was outstanding. Seriously delicious. Our vegan companion loved her Impossible “cheese” burger and fries. The steak sandwich with sweet potato fries was perfection and the fried egg burger was ridiculously delicious. Cocktails excellent. Birthday girl was treated to vegan donut holes that were out of this world. Portions were huge. We are going to return to try the homemade chicken tenders and wonton nachos because they looked sooo good! This is a must-do if you’re in the Niagara Falls area and is less than 10 minutes from the border!

My family loves Griffon so we order from here often. Like every other week. Not an exaggeration, they forget an entree 50% or more of the time. Sometimes more. Almost always forget the appetizers. But we give them another chance each time, not sure why. Today we ordered, and again we were missing my wife’s salad, and my salad that I ordered with tofu and see the picture, it’s literally black. How do you send that out the door? I order the crispy tofu on stuff all the time here. Stay away, this place is a dump now

Party of 4. We walked in and got seated right away for a Monday at 7 pm. Host was extremely friendly. We ordered Shabu,PB & J burger, beef and a weck , mangia steak. Daughter didn’t like Shabu. The rest of us liked our meals. Our server Ashley was amazing! Great people person.

Stopped by for lunch after a visit to Niagara Falls. Our waitress was so kind and attentive. The beer menu was broad and the food was delicious. Will definitely make it a point to go back when we're in town again.

First time their, told the bartender to make me a fast burger as i was in a rush, man oh man i had the lamb burger and it was the BEST burger i ever had, wife loved her burger as well. Wish i lived in the states.

Khadija was a lovely server that made our day that much better. We were out celebrating my daughters birthday and the food, atmosphere and service were all outstanding with much thanks to Khadija!! ♥️

From the service to the food, everything was amazing. Our server was Kelsey and she was just fantastic. This will always be our spot every time we come to Niagara falls. Everything was beyond our expections.

Really fantastic menu! I ate here twice with a coworker, and everything we got was good. I loved the marinated asparagus especially.

Reservation recommended. Service is kinda slow, but friendly. PB&J burger was good as well as the onion rings. Highly recommend the pot stickers for appetizer. They were amazing.
