This place is amazing. You get so much food for the price and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The server was extremely friendly and helpful. Also like that you and your dining partner can pick different items unlike other tasting menus so you get to try and share so much more food.

Fantastic experience at Weinkeller tonight. A real hidden gem (and I have lived in Niagara Falls for 6 years and this was my first time here). Every dish was really great (I forgot to get a picture of the entree…..). The front of house team were also exceptional. We will definitely be back.

I just HAD to leave a review. I went with my boyfriend and we knew that it was going to be expensive so we made sure to have a good mindset before eating so that we could enjoy the experience. We had Connor as our server and we loved how he had set the tone by speaking to us so professionally, no judgement, and with lots of knowledge! We both love simple human decency and we appreciate that type of service. The food was amazing… Pricey so be sure to save up because it’s so worth. I really have nothing else to say because you just have to experience it yourself to know. 11/10! Thank you for having us. P.S. If you’re going on a date, ask them to turn your table sideways for you so that you can sit right next to your partner. It’s more intimate and fun to sit right next to them rather than across, in my preference. So don’t feel shy to ask!

Wow! Dinner at Weinkeller was the highlight of my night! Incredible food. So delicious. The striploin was cooked perfectly. Angela was an absolute gem. Every dish was so good. I really enjoyed the beef carpaccio. Nobody at the table had a complaint. Professional service and nice atmosphere. Definitely going onto my list of favourite restaurants.

The best restaurant by far in Niagara for couples and foodies. You get an amazing amount of food for the price and each and every option is top notch. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ontario. Our server Conner was knowledgeable about the food, and he let us know what a great working environment it was. To me, that makes the difference. Treat your staff right and you'll treat your customers right. Kudos to Weinkeller. You have a life long customer! 👌

My rating is based mostly on the service. Don't get me wrong - our dinners were excellent, as were our desserts, and the goat cheese app. The other items we ate were OK. But we were extremely happy with the customer service. Also, the free parking was an added bonus. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Falls. The patio is lovely and secluded from the busy strip. Thank you, Weinkeller, for a delicious meal and romantic night out!

Rarely do you get into a restaurant that is good on "everything" - ambience, service, staff, presentation, wine and liquor and food. Weinkeller is one such. Rachelle and Kaleigh who waited my table, made you feel welcomed. The decor is a revamped brick and wooden beam interior with a small bar area and comfortable seating options. Kaleigh and Rachelle took the time to go over pretty much the entire 5-course menu and options. I went with the tomato soup as starter that co.es with a side of crispy cheese crusted with herbs. Rich and dense without feeling heavy due to cream or such. It set the tone for the other items that came after. Went with the Mediterranean salad with seared shrimp, quinoa with an easy dressing. Not a huge salad fan, but it was good enough that I didn't leave anything behind, which is rare for me. Appetizer was one of the stars of the entire 5-course. Deep fried goat cheese with roasted garlic - it's "beyond" awesome!!! Crispy on the outside and soft enough inside that the knife isn't really required. Main course was a fillet mignon that was dabbed in espresso powder all around it and wrapped around with bacon on the side. Comes with starch options / potato and seasonal vegetables - I skipped the potatoes and went with more seasonal vegetables along with a side order of wild mushrooms. This was easily a top 10 steak for me, and probably top 5 within Canada. Each item was brought out with timely precision that I wasn't waiting long before the difference courses. Dessert options were great (not listing it), however, I was stuffed and Kaleigh again did the magic by asking if I wanted another fried goat cheese to go instead. Before my brain registered what she had said, my head was already going up and down, nodding I'm agreement. I'm writing this review sitting in my car, in their parking lot - didn't want to leave this for later and forget some details. Also available is a 3-course vegan meal. Also, as FYI, parking is available with access from their patio side (ask for a parking token from the restaurant instead of paying for the same). Overall, a must visit, a must repeat kinda restaurant. 5 stars on all fronts. Update, second visit on Canada Day! Table for 3, 2 of which were vegan. Went with the salad and fried goat cheese along with the falafel, fried spicy rice, some vegetables and a side salad, presented beautifully. Falafels were about 1.5 times larger than the middle Eastern restaurants I've visited and has a great crunchy / crispy outer. The party enjoyed this but next came the dessert options. Went with chocolate filled fried wontons, bwith a berry reduction and a semi-feozen cayenne pepper / dark chocolate mousse. This is on par with the fried goat cheese - outstanding. I went with the meat option and took the 8" steak with red peppercorn sauce. Unfortunately, my palette still remembers the amazing filet mignon from few days back and while this was good, I'd still go with the filet mignon. Rachelle waited our table and didn't do better than the previous time, as she was already amazing!!! But kudos to the entire team - at least 4 others stopped by on and off along with Rachelle to check how wee were doing. My impressions on Weinkeller keeps getting better with each visit. Thankfully, I live in the GTA, so my wallet can rest for a while, but my taste buds might force me to drive back sooner than the wallet's preference!

I went with three friends for dinner on 1/15/23. I did the 5 choices option (85 CAD) where you get 1 entree and the four other options are your choice. I did two glasses of wine, a salad, entree, and dessert. Everything was delicious! I did the seasonal salad, the steak with creamed peppercorns, and the dark chocolate red wine wontons. (The wontons were particularly yummy). Our server, Rachel, was top notch. She was attentive and very helpful. They also had a musician playing live music who was very talented, but wasn't too loud so that you couldn't have a conversation. All in all, I'd go back and definitely would tell people to stop here for dinner if they're in Niagara!

My husband and I went last night and very much enjoyed our meal. Our server Conner was excellent with detail and always asking if we enjoyed our first bite. Good customer service goes a long way. The dish could not be of your liking, but the server is the one who goes that extra mile to make it a great experience and wanting to come back! Thanks Conner and great food, compliments to the chef.

During my visit to Niagara Falls, I had the pleasure of dining at this gem of a restaurant, and it was nothing short of magical. The atmosphere struck the perfect chord of romance and elegance, making it an ideal spot for a date night. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the fried goat cheese and salad - a culinary masterpiece that tantalized our taste buds. It's rare to find a place that so beautifully melds a romantic ambiance with culinary excellence. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in Niagara Falls!

An amazing and out of this world experience. This place offers a very original formula of 5 choices or points to build your own menu. The decoration of the place is outstanding and charming. I ordered the oysters and they are fresh, tasty and well presented. For the main I got the striploin with chimichurri. The steak was perfectly cooked and the flavor was simply fantastic. Connor, our server was a pro, a true gentleman who has the ability to make your evening a special one. His recommendations were the perfect fit for our meal. Surprisingly the bill was not that high, taking into consideration the great service and the amazing food the prices are actually low. Definitely consider this restaurant in your trip to Niagara, it is a fine and delicate experience that will highlight your trip. Five stars are not enough to properly describe this place. Bravo and congratulations!

What a place this is! The food is absolutely delicious and oh so fresh! Seafood house made gnocchi was melt in my mouth, fresh oysters, the fresh salad and the chicken dinner with the garlic butter sauce - seriously so incredibly amazing! Best espresso martini I have ever had! I will be back and thank you to all the staff❤️

We had an amazing experience at Weinkeller. It’s such a beautiful, classy restaurant with an amazing atmosphere. The owner and waitress were both so sweet and they really put in the effort to make each guest feel personally welcome! The food is top notch and truly worth every dollar. We had the goat cheese appetizer which was honestly out of this world and highly recommended! We also had the filet mignon and hand carved New York steak…they melt in your mouth like butter. It was a most absolutely a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this restaurant for a nice classy date night. But more than anything, you will NOT regret coming here to eat…I wish I could explain in words how delicious everything down to the Caesar salad was, but there’s not enough languages. Yes, it’s that good!

Husband found this place during our honeymoon. It's a 5 course per person deal but are welcome to mix and match, so be warned and come on an empty stomach. Absolutely love the food; had the steak and loved it (cooked just how I like it!), husband still talks about the blackened porkchop and funny enough, my favourite component was the truffle honey that goes with the fried goat cheese (I cannot stand honey either smell or taste normally). Our server, Rowen, was great. I know servers kiss your booty for their tip but this guy went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Not just him but the other staff as well that was on the floor. Atmosphere was comfortable, music was a touch loud for me personally but at least it didn't feel like I was at a nightclub. Felt like the kind of place where you don't have to dress to the nines but will give yourself an extra 10 minutes to get ready. Will definitely come back on the next vacation!

Fine dining at its best. My wife and I visited this small place in niagra falls while on vacation. The food was amazing and so was the service. It's a 5 item dining experience and it can be a bit pricey. However if your looking for a place to celebrate a honeymoon or anniversary. They do not disappoint.

Weinkeller is an experience unto itself, it is not just a place to grab a bite of food in between other activities. Starting with atmosphere - this below ground restaurant is both comforting and yet full of interesting quirky details to see. The music is enough to blur neighboring conversations into background noise and yet I had no trouble hearing and conversing with my partner across the table nor the phenomenal staff. The chairs and booths are comfortable, an essential detail for the dining experience you'll participate in. The concept is so much fun - you pay a single price per person to enjoy 3 or 5 menu options. One option must be an entree, the other 4 (or two, but I highly recommend paying slightly more for the full experience) can be any mix of drinks, appetizers, soups, salads, or dessert. Including the drinks as menu items for the "courses" is genius. It lets different members of the party focus on what they are more interested in. Not hungry? Get a meal to nibble on and then enjoy their delicious house wines. Not a drinker? Have an extra dish to try. The food is exceptional. Simple ingredients elevated to the highest quality without feeling fussy or pretentious. Every item on the plate is meant to add to the flavor, and there are surprising pairings that burst like fireworks when combined. Last but certainly not least, I cannot even begin to explain how much the staff add to this experience. Our waiter, Rowen, was cheerful, funny, and made us instantly feel at home. The owner is on the floor delivering food and checking in that people are having the best time. You can feel and taste that everyone here cares deeply and appreciates the fact that food is more than just nutrition.

We had a group of 9 for dinner service. The staff was able to move our reservation a bit later and provided us with the private room. The room size was perfect for our noisy group. Our server was great. She made sure all our orders were correct and ensured the food arrived on time. Everybody agreed that the food was amazing! This restaurant and staff earned their perfect rating. Thank you for a great night.

Amazing experience. We had never been to Weinkeller before and we went for our anniversary. The atmosphere is perfect, it wasn’t very crowded, there was a nice fire in the fireplace. The music was great the server was very informed on the menu and even when our food was brought out (not sure if it was the manager or another server), he really checked in on us and explained the meal. It was definitely the most fine-dining experience we’ve ever had and it was worth every penny. We did the 3-item menu each, so collectively we had 1 drink, the goat cheese appetizer, the oysters appetizer, the steak with bacon jam, the blackened pork chop, the cheesecake dessert and we got blue cheese for our mains. Total came out to $174 before tip. Lots of money but I wouldn’t change it— It was a great anniversary experience.

Had a really great experience for a birthday dinner here. The service was authentic and helpful when choosing from all of the options. Every item we tried was good. $90pp for 5 items which includes an entree, the other items can be anything you like from soup, salad, apps, drinks or dessert. Personally I think the value is really fair and you could definitely pay a lot more for less elsewhere. This is one of the first places I'd take some visiting Niagara for a full dining experience.

Outstanding food... go for the chef's special on the steak. We were blown away by the food + will definitely be back. Cozy environment and truly excellent service from Jazz. We loved the oysters + charcuterie. I got so busy enjoying the food I forgot to take pics beyond the appetizers.

I was expecting a little bit more flavor food wise. Hands down go with the Truffle Fries as a side. The prixe fix allowed for a lot of flexibility which was cool The service, however, was excellent and the wine selection was very good as well.

I brought my boyfriend here for our first date. We loved it. I love a fix prix menu and we got the 5 item ones. I had a lot of really delicious food and i can definitely say unless you want to drink, dont get 5 items. Its too much for one person. We took a lot home. Service was just ok, it was busy and the servers weren't too attentive. I can't wait to go back for the food regardless

Food was decent. Presented well. Beef carpaccio was basically cold roast beef. Fried goat cheese was amazing. Service was good. Overall good experience

We are vegetarian and Rowen helped us in deciding what to eat off the menu as they have many options for meat but a limited vegan/ vegetarian menu. The food was amazing. Given a choice I’d do the vegetarian menu all over again. I am sure to come here regularly. I regret not taking pictures of the food but we cleaned out each course as soon as it came . Complements to the chef and all the kitchen staff Rowen is the best, he really made us feel comfortable and was great to chat with and decide our food 100 stars ! Thank y

We came here on our honeymoon and the food and service was some of the best we've ever had. We can definitely recommend the goats cheese appetiser and the coffee fillet steak. Our waitress Kailegh was excellent in suggesting menu choices and wine pairings and was always right there whenever we needed anything. Very highly recommended!

What an original concept and great atmosphere. The combination concept really allowed us to explore different dishes and flavors. The underground wine cellar vibe was cozy, romantic and fancy all in one. This would be my first choice to recommend when referring friends who are in the area. Feels way less touristy and tacky as some of the restaurants and attractions in the area. Money well spent!

Such a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere and delicious food! Our waitress was amazing (I wish I could remember her name). We were treated very well. Fair warning it is very expensive but worth it. It’s 5 courses (not optional). I would highly recommend the fried goat cheese, pork and ALL THE WINE ;)

Excellent dinner joint for couples to hangout. Relaxed atmosphere, great service and wonderful food and alcohol selections. $89/person with customizable 5 items selection including alcohol as one of the items (not cheap but it is good value). Meals are delicious, many wine selections. Highly recommend for a visit if you are in the Niagara region.

My son treat us for dinner here and we really enjoyed it it's pricey but we had a five course dinner and includes the wine. It was a very nice experience. They don't have a ramp for disabled person just to let you know. But overall it was a nice 30th anniversary dinner with my husband my son and his girlfriend.

Wonderful service, Fabulous food. We didn't have time for the full experience, but what we did taste was absolutely perfect. Our short visit was a calm and heartwarming break. If I ever am in Niagara Falls again, this restaurant will be a MUST on my list. I HIGHLY recommend.

A delightful evening at Weinkeller - amazing food, and equally amazing service from our server Kiley. Our 5 course meal included one of the best Caesar salads we’ve had, mussels with truffle fries, oysters, carpaccio and a steak with bernaise sauce that was to die for. Truly the best meal we’ve had in Niagara Falls. Thank you Weinkeller staff - we can’t wait to return!

Went here last weekend during a little getaway and this was honestly one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. Everyone was very kind and seemed legitimately excited about what they were serving, and we loved the experience of the 5 item experience. The ambiance was also very comfortable, very classy but not pretentious. We will definitely be back next time we're in town!

  • 4/5 Justin W. 2 years ago on Google
Decent eatery that’s a step up from the chain restos around Niagara Falls but falls a bit short to justify its pricing. Some standout dishes included the beef carpaccio and cedar roasted salmon. Their menu was bit confusing but essentially $80 per person for a choice of 4-5 dishes that includes 1 entree. Given their ample serving sizes, this is certainly more than enough and would recommend using one of those options for a drink or dessert. The blackened bone in pork chop with apple cider reduction had amazing flavour but the middle was a bit dry and over cooked. The charcuterie plate is certainly worth the money but is bit overloaded with an assortment of offerings ranging from chicharrones to salmon ceviche, in addition to the standard cheeses and smoked meats. The house wines are surprisingly enjoyable. The service was exceptional and cannot be faulted. Very friendly and attentive waiters and other front of house staff. They were a bit lax with checking vaccination status at the doors and the restaurant was absolutely packed when we went but it may have just been due to the circumstances of that particular evening. If you’re stuck dining in the area, this would certainly be a much better choice than The Keg or Milestones, etc.

Excellent time here! The goat cheese is a must have here hands down. We had a bit of a snafu with out steak but the staff took care of us and made sure we were happy. We will definitely be back again the next time we are in town. The service is second to none!
