Rarely
do
you
get
into
a
restaurant
that
is
good
on
"everything"
-
ambience,
service,
staff,
presentation,
wine
and
liquor
and
food.
Weinkeller
is
one
such.
Rachelle
and
Kaleigh
who
waited
my
table,
made
you
feel
welcomed.
The
decor
is
a
revamped
brick
and
wooden
beam
interior
with
a
small
bar
area
and
comfortable
seating
options.
Kaleigh
and
Rachelle
took
the
time
to
go
over
pretty
much
the
entire
5-course
menu
and
options.
I
went
with
the
tomato
soup
as
starter
that
co.es
with
a
side
of
crispy
cheese
crusted
with
herbs.
Rich
and
dense
without
feeling
heavy
due
to
cream
or
such.
It
set
the
tone
for
the
other
items
that
came
after.
Went
with
the
Mediterranean
salad
with
seared
shrimp,
quinoa
with
an
easy
dressing.
Not
a
huge
salad
fan,
but
it
was
good
enough
that
I
didn't
leave
anything
behind,
which
is
rare
for
me.
Appetizer
was
one
of
the
stars
of
the
entire
5-course.
Deep
fried
goat
cheese
with
roasted
garlic
-
it's
"beyond"
awesome!!!
Crispy
on
the
outside
and
soft
enough
inside
that
the
knife
isn't
really
required.
Main
course
was
a
fillet
mignon
that
was
dabbed
in
espresso
powder
all
around
it
and
wrapped
around
with
bacon
on
the
side.
Comes
with
starch
options
/
potato
and
seasonal
vegetables
-
I
skipped
the
potatoes
and
went
with
more
seasonal
vegetables
along
with
a
side
order
of
wild
mushrooms.
This
was
easily
a
top
10
steak
for
me,
and
probably
top
5
within
Canada.
Each
item
was
brought
out
with
timely
precision
that
I
wasn't
waiting
long
before
the
difference
courses.
Dessert
options
were
great
(not
listing
it),
however,
I
was
stuffed
and
Kaleigh
again
did
the
magic
by
asking
if
I
wanted
another
fried
goat
cheese
to
go
instead.
Before
my
brain
registered
what
she
had
said,
my
head
was
already
going
up
and
down,
nodding
I'm
agreement.
I'm
writing
this
review
sitting
in
my
car,
in
their
parking
lot
-
didn't
want
to
leave
this
for
later
and
forget
some
details.
Also
available
is
a
3-course
vegan
meal.
Also,
as
FYI,
parking
is
available
with
access
from
their
patio
side
(ask
for
a
parking
token
from
the
restaurant
instead
of
paying
for
the
same).
Overall,
a
must
visit,
a
must
repeat
kinda
restaurant.
5
stars
on
all
fronts.
Update,
second
visit
on
Canada
Day!
Table
for
3,
2
of
which
were
vegan.
Went
with
the
salad
and
fried
goat
cheese
along
with
the
falafel,
fried
spicy
rice,
some
vegetables
and
a
side
salad,
presented
beautifully.
Falafels
were
about
1.5
times
larger
than
the
middle
Eastern
restaurants
I've
visited
and
has
a
great
crunchy
/
crispy
outer.
The
party
enjoyed
this
but
next
came
the
dessert
options.
Went
with
chocolate
filled
fried
wontons,bwith
a
berry
reduction
and
a
semi-feozen
cayenne
pepper
/
dark
chocolate
mousse.
This
is
on
par
with
the
fried
goat
cheese
-
outstanding.
I
went
with
the
meat
option
and
took
the
8"
steak
with
red
peppercorn
sauce.
Unfortunately,
my
palette
still
remembers
the
amazing
filet
mignon
from
few
days
back
and
while
this
was
good,
I'd
still
go
with
the
filet
mignon.
Rachelle
waited
our
table
and
didn't
do
better
than
the
previous
time,
as
she
was
already
amazing!!!
But
kudos
to
the
entire
team
-
at
least
4
others
stopped
by
on
and
off
along
with
Rachelle
to
check
how
wee
were
doing.
My
impressions
on
Weinkeller
keeps
getting
better
with
each
visit.
Thankfully,
I
live
in
the
GTA,
so
my
wallet
can
rest
for
a
while,
but
my
taste
buds
might
force
me
to
drive
back
sooner
than
the
wallet's
preference!
