Would give this place 10 stars if possible. High quality South Indian food. After a long and exhausting day at Niagra Falls, we decided to stop by this place for dinner. We were very satisfied with the food and the quality of service. It was quick and easy. We had the idly and mixed veg uthappam. Loved both! The owner and his family are the kindest souls I've ever met. I forgot to collect my bag from the restaurant and only realized my bag was missing once I reached my airbnb. The owner was kind enough to deliver the bag to me at his address even though it was very late at night. God bless him and his family. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a quick fix for their South Indian cravings.

Horrible place to eat and such bad customer service. We walked into the restaurant and I stood in the line right after. She took orders right until the guys ahead of me and then she disappeared. After 20 min she peeps in and says can you please stay a bit longer. I was still standing. After 10 min some one else walks in and that lady cuts ahead of me and say she was in the restaurant before me and hence she gets to order. This is 25 minutes into me standing at the counter to order. As I was in the line, I gave the order and they gave their order later, but the restaurant owner who was clearly biased for them preps their order first. We wait for another 40 min only to get some mediocre dosa tasteless sambar and very bad chutney. Worst experience and would never go back there again.

Dosa Place is a hidden gem and the exterior looks humble. The owner was friendly, attentive and introduced their signature dishes to us with patience. The options on the menu were various but they ran out of lots of ingredients when we arrived at a late lunch time. We ended up getting their Cheese Dosa with Masala to share and our favorite Indian donut Gulab Jamun as dessert. The dosa was fried crispy and matched with the flavorful Masala sauce. It was not too spicy so it’s perfect for me. The Gulab Jamun was decent but it could’ve been better if it was served warm.

A great place for authentic South Indian food. Excellent quality and taste. Reasonably priced. Would have given 5 stars except for ambiance and general setup. No wait staff. You order at counter and go pick up when announced. Cheap plastic fork and knives etc. Paper plates. But, food is just amazing. I will certainly visit again if in area.

Very flavorful food. Price is reasonable given that they make dosa fresh in front of you. I highly recommend you try this place if you like dosa. The masala dosa was good but if you like spicy food then try the Milaki Podi Masala or Maysor Masala dosa. The food is way better then other Indian restaurants in the area

Simplistic place serving freshly cooked, wide variety of vegetarian South Indian fare. They also have North Indian items on their menu and do cater for a Jain dietary requirement. Food is delicious! Nothing more needs to be said. After you order, its worth the wait till your number is called out as every order is freshly prepared. One can truly enjoy their breakfast, lunch and dinner fare. This restaurant is run by a hard working family that wants Niagara Falls visitors to enjoy food they crave for. Go forth and tuck in!

Very good place with excellent food. The owners are very nice people. We arrived five minutes before store closing time. The owners were very helpful in accommodating us and serving us food. Thanks to Vadana for being such an amazing person. Good food at great prices and excellent service is what you get from this place.

Excellent service, great food and the place was very clean. The owner himself cooked all the food. Everything was beyond expectation and the prices were just right.

Had very good South Indian food. We had variety of dosas, idli, fried idli. Everything was awesome. Above all the chef gave us free extras like rasam, pappadams ( freshly fried ) . Was a pleasant experience. Kudos to this family run place. They really go above and beyond. 100 times better than the numerous buffet places around here.

It apparently seeming like there is never a good Indian restaurant in Niagara falls that attracts millions of tourists every year. After trying several others in Niagara thought I could give this a chance and man it was TERRIBLE. If you are someone who know how to make idly, dosa, vada and almost any south indian food you will know how bad this restaurant is. Never going back again.

We just went there for lunch and the food was very very bad. We ordered Dosa and mango lassi and it was the worst food we ever had. We are staying in the US since long and we know how the Indian food tastes like in other restaurants in the US. If I had the option to give Negative star I would have given that.

Surprised to find an authentic South Indian place near Niagara Falls. Food was great, feels like you are in India. Coffee is a must try. My kids loved fresh Mango Lassi.

South indian Tiffin items are really good and tasty Rice items needs some improvement on taste . Rava dosa alone tastes like wheat dosa . For rice items my simple suggestion in YouTube watch venkatesh Bhatt cooking . For chutney please use frozen gratted coconut. For kids if we ask curd or milk they are giving. Good 👍 Keep going

Amazing food especially Jain food. Loved Masala Dosa, vada, tomato chilli uttapa, and mango lassi. Tomato rice were exceptional too. I’ll highly recommend to visit this place instead of the other Indian restaurants located near the falls. It’s just a 10 min drive from Niagara Falls. Will definitely come again whenever I’ll visit Niagara.

This is a Pure Vegetarian Hotel, operated by a Family. Their food is good and feels like home made food. The options are plenty. It's a Self service Restaurant. Dishes take longer than usual to get ready, so plan accordingly. Large space with sufficient seating. There is enough place to PARK the cars and it's free parking.

Amazing food , we tried almost everything for dinner and lunch. The food is very fresh and has that home made feeling. They accommodate most dietary restrictions. It’s a small family owned business but very good & friendly people. It has Jain and vegan options so that was a big plus for us.

This is the best place for south Indian cuisine around Buffalo. The place is family run, clean and welcoming. We had Rava dosa, Uttampam and madras coffee, which was all very tasty and authentic. This is self service restaurant, ( no waiters, we pick our orders and clear the table)

After a mediocre experience dinning at the food trucks near Niagara Falls, we were able to get some delicious authentic South Indian food at Dosa Place. Run by a family, the place was bustling with people and orders well past their closing time during the busy Labor Day long weekend. We got to try their dosas and tamarind rice. The chutney and sambar accompaniments went well with the Masala dosa which we really liked and highly recommend.

Great to have found an all vegetarian place in Niagara. Their menu is expansive. The place is clean and neat. We ordered poori, special thalis, vadai and mango lassi. The vadai, chutney, sambar, rasam, daal we’re excellent. The rotis were so-so having felt like having made from prepackaged frozen. The lassi felt a little old and could not taste the mango at all; the flavor had almost fermented away. But, would still visit here again. Great hospitality and calm ambience away from the crowds.

This establishment had AMAZING FOOD! Let me just start off by saying dosa place had such amazing flavourful food. From the poori to the dosa to the rasam it was absolutely amazing. The owners were super kind and friendly and even during their busiest hours they still manages to get our orders to us in a timely manner still fresh off the grill!! They are super professional, friendly and extremely welcoming. Will definitely be returning and referring friends and family to stop by!! Keep up the excellent service!

We were amazed by the food and service. Definitely my go to place in Niagara Falls for South Indian food. We were treated courteously even though it’s almost closing time for the restaurant. Food was prepared fresh and tasted delicious. Both Heart and stomach were full :).

The service was really fantastic. Kumar and Shanu (I hope I’m spelling their name right) were the person to serve me my food. The food was really amazing. If you guys are looking to have a family dinner, this is the go to place. 5 stars would minimum to rate them but one of the best restaurants I’ve had South Indian food from. Keep up the great works guys!

Food is just about okay, at least the time we went. We ordered a tiffin combo, and we waited for almost 25 mins and finally got a so so tasting food, with vadas overcooked on the outside but not cooked on the inside. Got a replacement but didn't like that as well. People can be more efficient and sharp. They are nice people, but somehow I wouldn't prefer eating at this place again.

Wow. Just wow. We came in to Dosa Place not knowing what to expect. We ordered a curry and the pictured "sampler" platter. The food was fresh and flavorful. We shared both meals as the portion sizes are generous. Everything we had was better than expected at a fairly low price. Can't wait to come back! Dosa Place also does carry out and there's a $20 minimum for cards I believe.

Food tasted good, not the top line. Mango lassi was great. Service was bit delayed, but its the new norm with covid in many places. A very good restaurant with a long history impacted by covid and staffing shortage and had to scale down their operations. They are working hard to make it up.

The food is very good and some of them are extraordinary, mainly the rava dosa, which was crispy even after couple of hours. Their coconut chutney was also very good. We ordered Onion and Green Chilli Uttapam - very tasty Dosa Place Combo (idly, medhu vada, masala dosa, etc) - medhu vada was exceptional Onion Rava Dosa with Masala - the best Family owned place, managed by husband and wife. They are so compassionate that when we arrived late, they said that they were worried because the food was not getting picked up. We picked the food late and took the food to our hotel and then started eating. To our surprise the food was not only tasty, the rava dosa was still crispy after two hours. The medhu-vada was perfectly seasoned, equally tasty as if they were served hot. We were glad that we decided to try out this place and will definitely visit them again.

Awesome food! Nice people! Best dosa I have ever had. Even my 2 girls enjoyed and they usually do not eat dosa. Family operated and they make sure they correct something if you don’t like. I highly recommend . Would give more stars if possible.
