Our waiter was amazing. Very kind and attentive even though he had 7 other tables. I cannot recommend the drinks 😩 the cocktails were a mess flavor wise. Neither of us loved our drinks, but they weren't terrible. The food came out heavenly. The wagyu steak was amazing, soft, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. The seafood was fresh, totally on point. I do wish the butter had salt! That was a bit disappointing. The chocolate desserts here aren't super high quality. But! they use fresh housemade cream and cut fruit totally amazing hos simple but good it was. Definitely get the creme brulee or cheesecake! Highly prefer it. The raspberry sauce is also out of this world. And for the coffee snobs, they have an amazing espresso! So Definitely worth ordering a latte or a shot if you need a perk up.

One start only because the Waiter is nice, otherwise 0. In front of my little child, family of 5, the Host, Hal made me took off my hat “no hat allowed” with the gesture AND F TONE OF VOICE while other are wearing hat inside the restaurant(see picture attached). I just drove 8 hours to here from NYC and hungry in the pouring rain. Hal is very RUDE and DISRECPEFUL. . Steak( 4 porterhouse we ordered) and 2 frozen foie gras. All were mediocre! Medium well, we asked. Look like all the food were quickly deep fried and threw on the sauté pan. AppleBees or Outback are 10x better. Do yourself a favor and save your face and money, STAY AWAY! Nice Waiter!

Definitely one of the best meals I have had in a long time, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If staying at Seneca Niagara I would highly recommend attending. We had the 16 oz prime rib, lobster Mac and cheese, jumbo scallop and shrimp entree, BLT salad and french onion soup. The bread served with the meal was different (multi grain and cranberry walnut I believe) but delicious none the less.

We ordered crab cake, lobster bisque, onion ring and ribeye steak. Foods and atmosphere were all great! But the greatest one was our server, Tom. He is super professional, friendly and careful. Thank you very much Tom and I would like to give you 10 stars!!

Our servers were very nice but the food was horrible! We ordered two 8 oz filets both medium. One came out rare, the other almost well done. The yukon potato sides were disgusting, sticky and tasted like paste. I sent my filet back and asked for it to go, it was very rare so I threw it out. We will never return and will tell everyone we know to not waste their money. $220 for the worst meal I have ever had! The last picture is of both filets supposedly medium.

At best I'll give it a one because the servers tried. Service was slow and servers lacked communication between each other. Drinks were mediocre and way overpriced for what you get. The shrimp cocktail was very good. After that is where it goes downhill from there. The restaurant must be buying lower grade meats these days. My wife had the pork chop which was very dry and tough. I attempted to have the strip steak but there was more gristle than there was meat. We ordered a baked potato which came out cold and you couldn't even melt butter on it. The asparagus was extremely cold, very stringy and tough. We ask the waiter to bring us a new baked potato and asparagus because they were cold. Then they both came out again. spoke to the manager, he just stared up and said will deduct it from the bill. No apologies, just stared at us. This restaurant is definitely going downhill. We had visited there last year and had a wonderful time. This year all it is, is a train wreck. Definitely lower quality food and the chef certainly is not overseeing the other cooks for quality. We will not return again.

An excellent Steakhouse. Western Door has possibly the best French Onion soup I've ever had, so much cheese and great flavor. The beet salad made my wife very happy. The steaks were fabulous. I had the NY Strip, my wife ordered the wet aged ribeye and both steaks couldn't have been better. I don't think we've had a better Creme Brulee for dessert anywhere else. I wouldn't doubt that this is the best Steakhouse at least on the NY side of Niagara Falls.

Immediately freezing, vents overhead aimed directly at the table. You can't hear the people at your own table so all you hear is everyone trying to shout at each other. The food is undercooked. Crossed the hall for the bathroom and came back and they had the doors locked, had to call someone from my group to let me in. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE, NEVER COMING BACK.

The food is excellent, and generous portions. Our fantastic server, Thomas, had to actually convince my wife and I that the side dishes can be shared. It was one of the best filets I've had, same for the NY strip my wife had. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent time! We came to celebrate our anniversary. Our wait staff was great, even put up with us thinking our beignets were under cooked. We order the experience for two, which includes a bottle of wine, apps, entree with a side and dessert. The wait staff brought my fiance some tastings of the wine to make sure she liked it. Our steaks melted in our mouths, we also got the baked potato and asparagus which was enough to share (the baked potato was huge!). Plenty of time to enjoy ourselves in between the apps and entrees and desserts. Definitely will return. My only issue is that we had to walk everywhere in the casino to find the place, there were literally no signs pointing to where the restaurant was as we walked in from 3rd Street at Sheraton Niagara Falls.

It started out well. Had the dinner deal for 2. Appetizer, salad, and an 18oz steak(we ordered medium well), a piece. For 95 dollars. After the salad, we waited for 45 minutes for the steak, just to be raw. A whole dinner table were served their steaks 5 minutes after us, when we were there 20 minutes before them.. The edge of the steak was great, once u started in the middle it got to be too much. The waitress even said ew. We got two pieces of complimentary peanut butter pie. I regret not sending it back.

The onion ring is the best I've ever had. Seafood is fresh and steak is awesome. Price is reasonable!

Exceptional! We have come here for a couple years now to celebrate our anniversary. The atmosphere is welcoming and intimate. We like to dress up but you can certainly come in from the casino (if there's availability). The staff is attentive and friendly (Steve in particular is always very pleasant). The food is unbelievable. The steaks are cooked to perfection (I even like mine well done and its still super tender) and any other items we have ordered have been wonderful. Drinks are also delicious. I highly recommend coming to The Western Door.

I don't typically read the reviews because I don't want to be influenced by anything I have seen/read. I like to just give my honest opinion. I will say; however, that my mother taught me to not say anything at all if I have nothing nice to say .... That said, I did read over the reviews because I felt bad thinking I was perhaps over reacting to the situation. My mother would approve of this review as perhaps this is a teachable moment, so here goes - It really does appear to be hit/miss here and it seems the restaurant doesn't care as they don't appear to be replying to any of the posted Reviews herein. For that reason, I shall be quite forward and frank for those willing to read this in its entirety. When we arrived, 12 minutes prior to our reservation, the hostess would not seat us until the majority of our group had arrived. Fair enough but the manner in which she advised us of this was not very friendly. Perhaps if she told us it was "the protocol" and smiled we would have dropped it but she said there was no place for us at the bar to wait for our group and she walked away without really finishing our conversation to which my husband then asked "soooo .... final answer, no, we can't go in ... sorry, didn't really understand what the problem is ... can we sit and wait at the table for our friends." She just snubbed us off and we waited for our friends before entering. That was totally uncalled for. When we were finally granted permission, the room we were given was lovely, wine bottles decorating the wall, it was spacious for us to move about easily and the staff were warm, fun and accommodating. As a non-steak eater, I was totally ok with the only chicken dish they offered. The waiter graciously sought permission to substitute mac & cheese for the potatoes & broccoli offered and I was happy because I love a good mac & cheese and it did not disappoint. One of the top five I've had. The chicken was good and lots of it so that was a hit. My husband had a steak and it was okay. Our guest of honour sadly had repeated issues with her steak and that was upsetting. The restaurant was busy but not full and there were certainly lots of staff running around. So, would I return? Perhaps for dessert late at night after having a good time gambling and a few drinks prior. To repeat what appears to be a frequent statement here, it's truly hit/miss. Shame, because it's truly beautiful inside and the wait staff were lovely once you get past the guard out front.

I was there last night. My wife and order wine initially. Before we got our wine a blonde waitress with glasses wanted to take our order. We havnt even gotten our wine yet. I mentioned that we ordered wine and she said oh they havnt pour it yet.....poor. then while waiting for our meal which , included 2 baked potatoes, she brought the topping to our bake potatos, chives, Bacon, etc. We hadnt even gotten our appetite. That took up alot of space on the small table. That was unnecessary bringing that. Then my potato was not very hot I mentioned it to the one of the waiters. He said let me get your another one. Then he proceeded to bring my baked potato back that he zapped in the microwave back to me. This is extremely wrong. He told me he would get me another one and all he did was put it in the microwave .very unprofessional. Then we ordered cheesecake for dessert and I had to ask a waitress to please bring us forks. Very unimpressed the entire night I will not go back there. Needless to say I did not leave a large tip

We had an excellent experience here this past Sunday. The food was amazing and so was the service provided by Kathy. We were letting loose and had so much fun and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Highly Recommend, request Kathy, if you appreciate a sense of humor and top notch service!!! <3 Love, the Real Taste 570 team and of course "Kyle" lol

Finally returned to the Western Door in the Seneca casino after a two year hiatus due to the COVID travel restrictions. Although the casino changed and the restaurant menu was streamlined, the food and the service was still very much top notch. As much as I missed their Bone Marrow appetizer, the chopped salad was a healthy substitute. My wife and I both had the bone-in ribeye steak with roasted cauliflower and onion rings. The steaks were cooked perfectly at medium rare, the cauliflower was nicely roasted and the onion rings were crispy. The wait staff was extremely friendly, attentive and professional. My wife and I were happy to see that some things never changed. It was like returning to a warm familiar place. We will definitely be returning back again as the restrictions are lifted.

We went back in August but forgot to post a review. We were in town for our anniversary and my husband booked a reservation for a steakhouse for dinner. When we got there however, we found out that he reserved the wrong place. Even though it was packed, they still offered to squeeze us in. We didnt even have to ask. On top of that the service was amazing and so was the food. Everything was perfect. Whenever we go back for the falls we’re def stopping by here for dinner again.

Reservation are best but they added us when then opened. It didn't seem to busy. Food lacked flavor and seasoning. Tea was not good and service was just ok a tad slow.

The Western Door was an excellent experience to say the least. To start, we did not have a reservation and they were so nice in letting us know here to stand to make it in for a walk in. Once we were in we were served and the food and service was amazing. The staff was so attentive and beyond kind. As a manager at a restaurant I know what to look for and I really can say the service was excellent. The food was spectacular. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides and dessert was mouth watering. I just wanted to also compliment their amazing manager. Hal was one of the nicest people I have met. He was so good at keeping the restaurant running smooth while checking in with guests and making sure everyone was ok. In addition, we were there on a night a women tried to cut the walk in line and he was so professional in reminding her there was a line and she needed to wait. The women was so nasty to him and came back multiple times to yell at him but he kept his cool so well. I don’t know if I would have been able to do that. Overall, Hal was excellent and so was our entire experience.
