A great themed restaurant built in a jungle setting. Actually a Rainforest setting. With jungle trees, Elephants, Apes, Parrots, Butterflies, Snakes, and other animals. Everything 15 minutes the animals move about. Every 30 minutes there is a simulated thunderstorm. Huge aquariums with giant exotic fish also adorn the restaurant. Is a chain restaurant found in a few cities around North America.

This place is a great place to go with kids. It has a wonderful atmosphere, with a huge amount of work going to decorating the place. Don't go here if you're in a rush as things will take time. This is a place to come to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We found the food here is quite good and enjoyed our meals. It is a bit more expensive, but that is to be expected as this would not be a cheap place to run. Well worth going to for an enjoyable lunch experience with kids. If you have kids that are afraid of thunder, you might want to think about that as they are regular thunder storms.

We visited on a very busy Saturday afternoon and the line for entry was way out of the door. However they have a very efficient process for seating so the wait was surprisingly short. This is focused on the Kids and the Menu is not spectacular but still quite varied, you should be able to find something that satisfies you. I chose one of the Pasta dishes and was quite pleased. Service was prompt and courteous even though the place was packed. Our meals were out in a very reasonable amount of time and all were exactly as ordered. Prices are another story, quite steep for the dishes offered, but not unexpected given the prime location at the foot of Clifton Hill. I can only imagine the overhead costs for that location. Overall I expect much more satisfying for the Kids than adults, but still worth the visit.

The food is extremely overpriced and bad. Our total bill is like $200+tips for a small pork sandwich with fries, burger that taste like corn beef with fries, 1 chicken pastas and 4 pepsi. I guess we are paying for the experience while eating, but tbh the atmosphere was not really ideal. It is noisy and randomly gives us loud “rainforest” sound with the animal models moving. The servers are quite neglecting although it is not that busy. We even had stomachache after eating there. Not recommended unless you have kids who like animals.

Not a lot of good things to say about eating here. For kids it would be an experience and atmosphere of being in a rain forest. Food portions varied from small to big as you can see the photos and everything was over priced. The taste of the food was not great for me and the lighting was so dim it was hard to see and I hoped that everything I ate was fully cooked. I was not impressed coming here.

The service & staff are fantastic!!! Yes it can get busy at times, but our server was phenomenal that it didn't matter. My son who is autistic, ordered the Mac N' Cheese. It was too cheesy for him, so we ordered the mini burgers. They were more than accommodating & it was super fast coming out. Thank you for making our visit, a wonderful & memorable one!!!

This place has outstanding decor but that's it. Food is good but nothing more. Kids got hot dog and burger meals, parents had cheeseburger 33$ and adventure appetizer 42$. Just that brought bill to 160$ with taxes before tip for a quick lunch! Really expensive for adults but reasonable for kids. Men's bathroom only has 2 toilets so good luck there. If on a budget, stay away.

This restaurant is all about the atmosphere, love love love!! I couldn't wait to go even as an adult, and my kids were crazy excited. They loved the animals and how they moved and the thunderstorm. Such a friendly place. They encourage you to walk around and check it out. The menu was okay and expensive. My husband and I shared the natural burger. It was good.

I think the prices are way too expensive and are a trap for tourists. I guess you are truly paying for the experience and the facilities to run the whole place. Animals going off and lights too. Definitely for kids and not for people with epilepsy or visual and audio sensitivity. The food is not bad, but $40 per dish? We Got the appetizer plate.

Staff was friendly and attentive, food was great - the ribs were so tender they fell off the bone, and with the music and decor the atmosphere was perfect! We were originally given a seat number when we arrived, but wanted to be closer to the large aquarium to watch the fish. They had no issues seating us right beside it which was wonderful! The fish looked healthy and well cared for and were fun to watch during our meal.

it was a very busy day for them and since they were leaving space for social distancing, the wait was roughly an hour and 45 mins. There’s an arcade right by it to burn some time, but we just sat outside by the fountain and watched the sun go down. Food was good, they were very accommodating with helping our meal be Gluten Free with the burger bun and no croutons in the salad! They of course offer cool gifts and merchandise by their gift shop as well 👍🏻

We were sat almost right away which was great. We then waited 20 minutes for a server to come to out table. Not great. We then waited another 10 minutes for our drinks. We ordered drinks and dessert. The dessert looked better than it tasted. Which we waited over 20 minutes for and was served with no spoons. The whole experience was frustrating. Most drinks were not available along with the souvenir cups. Totally not worth the time, money or frustration. Was on Vacation so will never be back. But sorry to say I can not recommend it. Was hoping for a better experience.

Fantastic restaurant for families, especially for birthdays or special occasions. Regret that I didn’t take my kids to here when they were younger. Food are great except Fish and chips. 50 dollars per person including food and tips. Love forest like environment in the restaurant.

There are no reservations online, which I think is a good thing. You have to show up and add your name to the reservation list and wait until you're texted or called. We got told it would be a 25-minute wait, but it was only 10 minutes, which is awesome for timing purposes and hungry children. We got seated, and within 5 minutes, our drinks and orders were taken. Souvenir cups and adult glasses are available for purchase. Really friendly staff and the view in the dining area was great to keep most distracted for a while. Feel free to walk around the dining area to capture pictures or take a look, every 20 minutes or so thunder sounds and lights flicker like lightning to create the rain forest feel. The appetizers and main food were excellent. Be careful if you have a picky child getting the hot dog because it looks rough, but once they try it, you may be ok as mine finished the meal but was hesitant from the look. Will say the prices are rather steep but if you don't mind the cost, I highly suggest this place for good memory's and food.

Fun place to eat. The kids enjoyed all the animals. The hostess who seated us was pretty ride but our server was fantastic and very friendly and knew exactly what the kids would need. The food wasn't anything great. It was probably the worst spinach dip I've had. My drink wasn't cold enough. The chicken fingers were tough.

Very cool theme and the details are impeccable! The service is great too but you’re not coming here for the food. We spent $100 on a veggie burger that came with cold fries and an “asian” salad that was a kit salad at best 😅 I would’ve been really upset about this if our server wasn’t so amazing and if the atmosphere wasn’t so great! Very cool combination of animatronics and interesting fish in the fish tank! Wish I were a kid, I would’ve had a blast and a half 🥲

This is a very unique restaurant. In essence when you come here, you are paying for the experience, not necessarily the food. It is quite expensive if you only judge it based on what you eat. The experience is unlike any other restaurant, so if you like that kind of thing this is a pretty cool place. The food itself was decent and the staff were helpful and pleasant, but don't expect a cheap meal here.

Great place for family gathering, especially for those with younger children! The decor and atmosphere is definitely very immersive with the occasional fake rainstorm and rowdy animals and animatronics. The food is better than expected but the prices is definitely tourist trap feel. With almost no more Rainforest Cafe's left this is definitely one of a kind experience. I give them 8.5/10!

The atmosphere and decor are really nice, well maintained and clean. The service was friendly and quick. The food on the other hand, was really not what we are used to at the Rain forest Cafe. The food was not tasty at all, the ribs were cold and it did taste like it was "cooked" in a microwave. The only good thing on the platter, were the nacho chips. For that kind of bad quality food, the prices are way to high in this restaurant. Do not spent your money here!

We visited for an early lunch, right at the opening time. It wasn't crowded and we had our pick of seats. The food was abundant and the pricing matched (hefty price, but a lot of food so we could save some for later). Our server was OK and the atmosphere is good. It is dark and does give the feeling of being under a rainforest canopy. It is quite loud and hard to have conversation, but it is fun. My kids love going here. The fish tanks are fun to look at and my kids like to take a long walk around the place to see very fake animal on the wall and count the butterflies.

We came here for an early lunch just after 11am, which was really nice since it really filled up closer to noon. The atmosphere is so nice! We took advantage of the drink with take home souvenir cup for additional $5. It's nice cause They give you a new cup in a box when you leave. Food was kinda pricey, but tasted good, and nice portions. You definitely have to do this at least once.

Walk over to Canada and decided to try this restaurant for my mom’s birthday, it was a great experience visually. Definitely feels like you are in a rainforest with the decorations. It’s such a vibe. That’s all I can say about the place that makes it spectacular. The food was mediocre and definitely wayyyyy overpriced! The drinks were also overpriced and not really worth talking about. I think this place should be a one time experience for the atmosphere because that’s truly the only reason to visit. There is a store to buy souvenirs which are also tourist prices. I would recommend only to experience the decorative atmosphere.

I had some family visiting out of town. Brought them to Niagara falls for the day, came here to get lunch. I know it's a Wednesday in the middle of the week, plus it's winter. I know the whole city is very, very quiet. But the service here was way too slow. We had maybe 2 other tables with us, and it took almost 1 1/2 hours to get our food. We sat for almost 20 mins to finally have someone come to our table to get drinks. It's not a great first impression to come visit this beautiful place. Very disappointing

Great for special occasions for kids. They sang a birthday song and offered free ice cream for the birthday kid. Kids will love the moving animals and the occasional thunderstorm effect. The person helping us offered great service. Food was just ok but u guess people are mostly just there for the ambience.

Our waitress Shona made our dining experience so amazing! She was so attentive and kind. She came around often to ensure we had everything we needed while dining there! Service like hers is hard to come by these days! The experience of the Rainforest was wonderful! This was our first dining in experience since COVID hit and it was great!

Located near the bottom of Clifton hill ,the Rain Forest is an excellent theme restaurant to visit especially with the family. The food portions are big and tasteful. Furthermore the service is excellent. Also every 20 mins or so you get to enjoy a tropical thunderstorm. I would eat here again.

This place is good for the atmosphere. Absolutely amazing and my son loves it. Food is decent. Service is very slow due to this place being very busy. There's a 20 min wait to get table then about 45 min to get food after ordering. Lots of great photo opportunities with different interactive artificial animals.

Exceptional cuisine with an extensive variety of dishes to choose from. Be sure to try the Philly steak and the layered pasta - they are my personal favorites. This restaurant is a must-try, with an atmosphere that perfectly complements the dining experience.

Got greeted by "You have to wait 10 minutes while we clean a table for you" with 3/4 of restaurant being empty and clean tables all around. Ok we'll wait, wanted to take pictures in the meantime, far away from patrons to ensure not to disturb anyone and was told by one of the hostesss that we cannot take pictures until they get our table ready. What? Where is the connection? Then the best part is the food and prices. There is a good reason they don't post prices online. You will pay at least double compared to other places on the strip for mediocre bar food. Our waitress was very nice and was the only good experience out of the visit. In conclusion, the atmosphere alone is not worth the hostess's power trip, food quality and prices.

Taking friends to Niagara Falls for their first time ever is always a treat - for them, of course, and for me to see the awe in their expressions at the sheer majesty of the falls. Of course, when you see something as awesome and unique as the falls, you've gotta have a meal experience to match. It doesn't get much more unique than dining in a jungle forest, surrounded by wild beasts. Rainforest Cafe is definitely unique. The ladies shared a Pastalaya Pasta (Shrimp, sautéed chicken, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, andouille sausage, hot & spicy Cajun sauce, linguini), while I had the Fish-n-Chips (Served English style with two pieces of beer battered cod fish with jungle fries and coleslaw). The portions for both dishes were very generous, more than enough for sharing , and more than enough for the three of us. The pasta dish had great flavour while the fish was perfectly battered and cooked. We all enjoyed the food! The service was also very good, from being greeted to leaving, we were well taken care of. As expected though, prices were a bit on the high side, typical of all the restaurants in the area. As much as we enjoyed our meal, it wasn't all perfect. It was a bit dark in the restaurant. I understand that the low lighting sets the mood for the rainforest theme, complete with simulated thunder and rain but it was a bit difficult to read the menu. The table next to us had to use the flashlight on their cell phones to see. If you're looking for a unique dining experience, Check out Rainforest Cafe. Bring a flashlight.

Not a licensed Rainforest cafe. So we could not earn points or redeem points. Limited menu and they were out of two of the three taco options. Waitress had to return to the table twice to get a new order. Service was a little slow but ok. Ended up eating a salad which was fine. Still upset we couldn’t use our $100 worth of points. Dinner was tooooo expensive!!!

  • 3/5 Marie V. 9 months ago on Google
It was fine I feel bad for the shark since the tank looks so small for it Restaurant itself is fine, food was good, and staff was friendly Very fun atmosphere but some of the animatronics have seen better days for sure, the snake barely moves anymore and every surface was sticky

  • 1/5 Christina M. 10 months ago on Google
Disappointing given all of the many alternative restaurant choices just steps away! The food is absolutely terrible. The kids pizza was soggy. The pasta tasted like canned food. The mashed potatoes are mashed with the skin on them which is not well received by kids given all the chunks and different texture. The adult shrimp tacos were terrible! The breaded shrimp was Chewy and hard. It was as if it was recooked multiple times. The only cool thing is the ambiance! Overall, food was terrible and overpriced!

I was drawn in by the name and it didn't disappoint once I got closer and inside. The rainforest, enchanting and amazing. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Be prepared to line up for a while before getting inside. The atmosphere is like you're dining somewhere in the jungle, which is amazing. Kush, my server was so amazing. He recommended what you see in the pics, which was so tasty. He really took care of me, making sure, I had all that I needed to enjoy the experience. The prices are a bit high, but it's an experience and amazing food you are paying for. I will definitely go back and bring some friends

Ambience is good but loud for kids, bit pricy. We had beer pasta kid chicken nuggets and mozzarella sticks . Pasta was ok but the chicken was not tender, the sticks were not good and the kids menu was ok. Think better places to go in Niagara Falls at this price

  • 4/5 Samantha G. 1 year ago on Google
Went to this place for the first time and honestly my impression was like wow! It is really a unique place and is definitely a must if you have little ones, they will absolutely love it, you will feel literally in a jungle with lots of animals, they also have a nice aquarium at the entrance which is very nice to look at, there’s also a moment we’re a big sound as if you were in the jungle is kinda a unique thing. We were a group of 6 people and we all love the concept of the place. The food it was ok not terrible but I have to say that their biggest attraction is the concept and all the details in the decoration of the place. The service was great no complaints, give it a try you might like it !

It's a very beautifully decorated rainforest theme restaurant. I think kids love this place for decor and it's in middle of falls and fun street. Good place to relax and grabbed some snacks. Their rainforest theme tshirts are nice and comfortable. The soft toys are also of good quality specially the long snake.

  • 4/5 Amanda R. 1 year ago on Google
This is the kind of restaurant that you pay more for the atmosphere than for the food itself. It's absolutely perfect for kids! There are thunder and rain simulations. All the walls are covered to look like a jungle with animals hanging spread all over the place. It's expensive, but the experience is worth it. I wish the restrooms could be cleaner. I didn't like my lemonade with strawberries, I had the impression I was drinking only liquid sugar. I tried my husband's smoothie and it was really good. They have a volcano dessert for birthdays and servers make noise when serving the birthday person, which makes kids excited. By the way, my server went missing many times, it took long for the food to be served, my drink was forgotten, items from the kids menu are charged separately... Anyways, just go to have fun and lower the food expectations. Arcade after dinner is a great idea. The real shark is great to entertain the kids. We had fun.

  • 4/5 Stephanie M. 1 year ago on Google
Definitely super fun the first time you go or with kids. Otherwise, it looses its magic. And it's quite pricey though decent food. For reference, I had the Calypso salad ($27.99) and kids had the kids menu (cheeseburger and chicken fingers). Though portions appear small, it was enough for us.

  • 3/5 Herb B. 1 year ago on Google
Seated pretty quickly but server didn't come by for at least 10 minutes I was about to leave then she came by. Regular soda was 6-7 dollars I don't remember. Fish and chips was great. Food came out about 1/2 hour after sitting down...kinda slow Over all food was great, price was high $103 cad for fish and chips and shrimp tacos...2 fountain soda drinks+ tip... food came out slow and service was ok...would give it an extra star if server didn't take 10 min to greet me. The table next time mine was very quick got their drinks within 5 min

Welcoming staff, and great place to visit with family. Specially with kids! They will love the animals moving and making sound! Attention for the storm weather and special effects! The food is also really good, however, it could be a bit cheaper. But I know this is a touristy place and we’ll, it’s more expensive… anyway, go and enjoy!

  • 4/5 Airam R. 2 years ago on Google
It’s totally a great experience that you have to visit at least one time! Usually you have to wait to be seated, the food is good, served in big portions. They don’t take cash.

  • 3/5 Hope L. 1 month ago on Google • 15 reviews New
I wish I could give this place 3.5 stars. I'm a local who went for fun simply because of the Eddy Burback video. It is a tourist trap, and the pricing reflects that, with a quality of food that doesn't necessarily match the high prices. The food isn't bad by any means, even if it's not amazing, and the decor is a fun little gimmick that adds some novelty to the experience. There is clearly a management issue as the place was definitely understaffed, with employees having to act as hosts, bartenders, and servers all in one. Despite this, the servers were amiable and friendly, and I do not blame them for the service delay we experienced. There just wasn't enough of them on staff that night. If you are vegan, there were three vegetarian items on the menu that could be modified to be vegan. When I did this, the food came out correctly which was good. They have a fun selection of drinks and I appreciate that you can take the branded cups home (which, by the way, they give you clean ones before you leave. They don't send you with dirty glasses like we initially assumed lol). All in all, it is a novelty experience with alright food that is fun to do once if you have a little extra cash to burn.
