Another amazing creation of Allaah. Park is maintained perfectly by the US government. The maid of the mist and cave of the wind are the must to go. Trolley for $3 will take you to goat island and horseshoe point.. from where we are even see the fall at Canada side very closely.

I’ve always wanted to go here and it didn’t disappoint. As someone coming from the NYC area, traffic through Buffalo to Niagara was non existent. The town itself on the American side was nothing special and the Canadian side visually looks prettier and seems to have more attractions, but thanks to covid, going over the border was a no go. Definitely beautiful and a tick off the by her list.

The Canadian side offers way better Falls views than the American. If you cannot cross over to Canada for any reason, the Observation deck has the best views from the American side of both, American and Canadian Falls. At time of our visit in late April access was free, but I think they charge it starting from May.

Perched at the precipice of the American Falls, the Niagara Falls Observation Tower affords an extraordinary vantage point, extending out over the Niagara Gorge like a grand invitation to witness one of the natural wonders of the world. The tower, standing as a silent sentinel, provides an unrivaled panoramic view that includes not only the American Falls but also the distant misty outlines of the Horseshoe Falls. It’s a place where you can feel the vibration of the falls through your feet, a testament to the immense power of the cascading waters below. With each viewing, whether through the clarity of a sunny day or the mystique of a mist-filled morning, the tower offers a unique perspective. Here, eagles soar at eye level, and rainbows frequently paint the skies, offering a breathtaking tableau that changes from moment to moment. An elevator ride down the tower leads to the boarding area for the Maid of the Mist, but it is the Observation Tower itself that allows for a moment of peaceful contemplation. It's an experience that draws you closer to the elements, a communion with the force of nature that is both uplifting and grounding. In essence, the Niagara Falls Observation Tower is more than just a structure; it is a journey to the heart of the falls, a place that truly allows the spirit of Niagara to envelope you in its grandeur.

The Niagara Falls observation tower is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Standing on the precipice and gazing at the powerful cascade of water is a humbling experience. The sheer force and volume of water tumbling over the falls is a testament to the natural wonders of our world. The mist in the air, the thunderous roar, and the rainbows that dance in the spray create a sensory overload. Whether you're viewing it from the American or Canadian side, it's a mesmerizing sight that leaves an indelible mark on anyone fortunate enough to witness it.

Second time visiting. Although the only parking was street meter parking, both times we found a close spot. Lots of souvenier shops and restaurants in area. We didn't do the tour either time. We walked along the walkway and right up to the falls. It is beautiful - especially at night when the colorful lights make the falls and mist glow with a rainbow of colors!!!! Strongly recommend visiting!!!

Such a beautiful experience. Mother Nature has so much to offer. You truly feel the power and the magic behind these falls when you are there. Would truly recommend giving it a visit. Not only the Tower but everything to do with Niagara Falls. These photos are truly two months old, but better late than never I suppose.

Great place to view the Falls. It's definitely worth it. It's usually very windy so watch your hats and be careful of your phone as you take your pictures! I highly recommend this location

What a beautiful and natural place to be in with the one you love the most! We were in US side of the fall and it looked amazing and then we passed the border and we had a look from the Canadian side as well. Both looks good and have some great views and attractions

Niagara Falls is amazing!! Was only there for a day but it was completely worth the trip. Definitely have to go on the Maid of the Mist boat tour that takes you right next to the falls. The ticket cost $25.25 per person. The observation deck is closed in the evenings but it’s still so beautiful at sunset.

Family had a great time. There was 60 min wait to board the boat. The ride over was smooth. Lots of opportunities to get wet. Well worth the money. Glad we got to experience it.

It's well worth the $1.25 per person entry fee to go see the amazing view from the end of the viewing platform. 200 feet off the ground and sticking out over the river, it's truly an amazing experience.

I think this is the most beautiful waterfall in the world. You should do maid of mistru board tour. That was wonderful experience. You can book the ticket online. $25 per person. If you you can buy the tickets from the counter. Parking is crazy over there. We paid $25 for parking as well. That is for the whole day. So I think it’s worth if you are going to spend whole day there. If you go during the summer you surely need one day for the whole tour . Must visit place. Went there silty my 60 year old mom and 70 years old dad. No issue with them. They enjoyed lot

Great park! Easy drive but a lot of traffic. We estourou the parking lot 1 opened. The main Accra film is the Maid of the Mist, be ready to stand in line for at least one hour, if you are going on a weekend. It doesn’t matter if you have a online ticket you still need to stay in line, boat comes and go every 20 minutes I would say. When the tour is done you can climb a stairs to stay close to the US fall. The park is amazing too, you can see the waterfall from top. There’s music, plays, be ready to bring your own food, but you can find beverages if you are willing to pay more for it!

Even there were many area that still got much room for improvement (such as courtesy of workers, poor instruction, etc) I should say it is a tour that must go while you are in Niagara falls. Really shock by the great view.

There's a small fee of $1.25 to just walk up the tower but it's definitely worth it. Views are great and the grounds are sprawling. One of the better places that too many people overlook so stop by and make the best of it!

Family had a great time. All staff was super nice. There was no real wait to board the boat. The ride over was smooth. Lots of opportunities to get wet. Well worth the money. Glad we got to experience it. There are also a few seats if you want to sit for a bit.

Come here at 9pm for fireworks and light show. Totally worth it and bring your camera for some cool shots. This place was open and free where we visited it in August and surprisingly not huge crowds, you could get a spot to take pictures easily. The fireworks, and light show work well with the falls. It is a must see when you are close by.

Free with maid of the mist tickets. Great view of the falls. I think it opens up to the public after Maid of the Mist stops doing tours so that you can see the falls lights and fire works.

Great experience! What you see on TV is no comparison to actually being there up close and in person. To be honest, I was expecting it to be larger than it is. It was still awesome to see the shear magnificence in person. Plan to get wet at The Cave of the Winds.

Amazing view and you can stay their forever while looking at that breathtaking view. Prospect point The prime viewing area for the American Falls and its free. If you are going to the observation tower the elevator and deck are open to all visitors ($1.25 fee). Boat ticket purchase is not required. Niagara Falls USA Observation Tower provides the only panoramic view of all three Niagara Falls, including the American Falls. Elevators at the Observation Tower provide access to the base of the gorge and the boarding site for the Maid of the Mist boat tour. You need to buy seperate tickets for the Maid of the Mist boat tour. You can see night lights illumination from prospect point.

If you visit the falls you will definitely make your way here at some point. If you pay for the Maid of the Mist, there is no need to pay the $1.25 ticket to get onto the observation tower. But if you aren’t riding the Maid the same day, it’s definitely worth the small fee to get on because of the unobstructed view of the falls. It should be totally free to get on once the park closes, though.

Went there in February. It was snow everywhere. It was really nice to see the view from up there, but offcourse its not as awesome as the Canadian side. It is mostly very crowded but in Feb it was quiet and we could enjoy the views however it was too cold to stay there for a long time. It's on a height, so it gives you a good perspective. If you are there to sprcially visit Niagra Falls, then don't miss it.

The Niagara Falls Observation Tower gave me the best views and photographs of Niagara Falls. Yes… of course the Maid of The Mist boat ride took you closer to them… but the Observation Tower gave you more of a landscape and more scenery in terms of the width of the falls and the Canadian side. If you are a photographer, or want a full picture of the falls, I recommend going to this Observation Tower.

$1.25 each, why not? Great views, fun walk at the bottom of the tower. Family friendly. We went before the crowd hit so plenty of space for photos. They have water fountains at the bottom of the tower, fill up your water bottle!

It was a very amazing visit. The food is ok. Not to many options. My wife and I walk around the falls for free. Got amazing pictures while a few things were under construction.

A great location to view the Niagara Falls from US side, which provide free access from 10am till 4pm. Was a bit disappointed that we couldn’t take the Maid of the Mist Cruise as it is closed between November to May period. However, I am happy that we could get the view from this observation point. If you are lucky, you may be able to catch a view with rainbow

One of the most unique experiences while visiting Niagara Falls! No one should miss the beauty of Niagara from observation deck during daytime, and from the lower view points at night! Gorgeous ❤️ Also the closest parking lot (Lot#1) to falls remains vastly available after evening hours (6 pm) to park and enjoy the night beauty.

What an amazing view of the American side of Niagara Falls. I like how it extends out over the water so you get great views of the falls. It is part of the Maid of the mist experience

It's a great place to see the falls. The family and I went there at night and didn't have to pay so I'm not sure if it cost anything during the day. The fireworks were awesome. The kids loved it. One down side. It does tend to get crowded so keep an eye on the kiddos

The best waterfalls in the world! It just amazes me by the millions of gallons that Niagara pours down via falls! Lovely place and must visit! Glad I have been to this place twice!

  • 5/5 Jason P. 1 year ago on Google
Offers some amazing views of the falls. Current prices are $1.25 per person to go up (stairs or elevator) up to the deck. Easy walk from various parking lots in the main hotel/caisno area. Not too crowded on a Monday, but I can imagine that the deck gets crowded on the weekends or during the summer.

Watching the American Falls and Horse Shoe Falls from top of the Observation Tower is beyond words. Excellent Experience. I was able to see the view in Falls and during Winter and both times it was mesmerizing. The fireworks is great and my daughter loved it so much. The place is well maintained. Definitely a must visit place for anyone who loves nature.
