They had an incredible amount of variety of art pieces throughout the museum. I loved the Niagara Falls section. The women working the front desk were also so nice.

This gallery is really a gem. Nestled in the middle of Niagara University, it has a great mix of modern and classic art styles, with some focus on local art as well. While it's not huge, you can easily spend an hour or two enjoying the art.

An absolutely beautiful museum that is well worth the trip. Their collection is well curated and there's something for everyone. Certainly a diamond in the rough!

Delightful x 1000. One surprise after another. Warhol, Dali, Picasso and peers in art. Poetic and fascinating curation. I love places like this. And free to the public. It is a generous gift to the public. This is what good wealth shared does.

We enjoyed the art collection at this lovely museum. It was relatable, unpretentious, and highly Instagram-able. The place is not too big so an hour should be enough to see everything. Admission is free and finding parking on-site was not a problem.

I loved this museum! If you ever go to Niagara Falls, definitely fit this into your itinerary! It’s lovely for any art admirer, and the best part is that it’s free! Staff is lovely as well.

Plenty of beautiful art from world-renowned and local artists. Staff was great and there’s plenty of parking. The museum is free but donations are encouraged.

The Castellani family built a grocery store empire, beginning with a mom and pop in n Niagara Falls, New York. The family caught the collecting bug in 1956 and what can you do with a personal collection of thousands of works but donate it to a non-profit? The family had a construction company that built all the grocery stores, so the company built the art museum. The family collected passionately with great results. However, the museum also shows where the hunt for great art brought home not easy to understand items. The museum celebrates the calling that is collecting. A show entitled Western New York Collects: Nancy Dwyer has pride of place in a prominent gallery of the museum. The show exhibits Dwyer's work held by local collectors, many collectors living in Buffalo. Dedication of the art museum to the development of art on the Niagara Frontier cannot be questioned after a thousand days of supporting Thomas Keeler's mission of "Painting Niagara". The show traveled the world before returning to this perch over the Niagara River, discover down river from the cataracts. The Castellani family started collecting by acquiring a George Inness painting, a gem of Hudson River School. The family gives direct support to the latest generation of painters who take their sketch books and easels into nature by presenting Kegler's Painting Niagara at C.A.M. This exhibition, with a documentary video, has the power to inspire another generation to take paints and brushes to the wild.

A very nice art museum on the Niagara University campus. Friendly staff and diverse exhibits. It’s not very large, but definitely would recommend checking it out. If you’re in the area and icing on the cake, it’s free! I went with my Young Black Professionals of Western New York Meetup group and we all really enjoyed our time there!

We went to see the exhibit of works from the collection of Gerald Mead and ran into the man himself! It’s a very interesting exhibit. We wished we had more time to explore the permanent collection. It merits a return visit.

All six exhibition halls this spring (2023) are Exceptional. From local Armenian Crafts to the art of the NU Theater Department, turning each corner of the museum was a different experience. Well worth an hour or more of your busy life.

Wonderful experience! All exhibits were so individually different that it allowed a "something for everyone" experience. Learned so much on each topic through enjoying art and video presentations. 👍🏻👍🏻

Such an interesting find! Traveled from FL to see an exhibition of... FL artists, the Highwaymen! Was very quiet with only a couple other people. Nice time.

Small, but delightful. I especially liked the exhibit of black Florida painters who successfully sold their work roadside.

Large display of different types of art. Display on how plays are made including how costumes help tell the story, to plans on how to set up the stage, and miniature dioramas depicting what the stage will look like full size. Great free way to spend a rainy afternoon.
