Many of the reviews say this is 10-12 mins with a tour recording telling you what you’re going over, it’s 6 minutes and they will not speak to you at all. Their site says they are open Thurs-Mon, they were closed Thursday as well. I chatted with the company through email with our specifics where they told us it’s walk up only, no reservations. This is like an amusement park ride where they rush you in and out as fast as they can. We arrived Friday about 10 minutes before they opened and a full tour group gets the first flights regardless of arrival time, so we still waited an hour. The views are incredible. It was well worth it, just manage your expectations. The prices are also $135 pp. They do offer child rate, a child is under 50” (roughly an 8 year old). They also offer 10% off discount in all the local flyers, it’s really $10 not 10%. So overall, very poorly managed, but your ONLY option in town. If they had any competition they would be out of business. We would do it again because the views are unbeatable from the air. No cleaning in between rides, but masks were required in flight.

It's a pleasant ride which gives a bird's eye view of the Niagara falls. I feel if one can afford it then it should be on the to-do list for sure. The challenges are that this place doesn't take bookings which can be good or challenging. Luckily we reached at 12:45pm and they start selling tickets in the afternoon from 1pm. We were second line for the ride and by the time the counter opened, there were around 15 families. Now they were all in sequence for the ride. Also, we felt that the crew can help with the headsets a little bit more as two of my party members were complaining of dizziness as they could hear the loud noise from chopper. Apparently the headset needed to be adjusted. Lastly, they could have the headset with speakers and maybe the pilot can explain what the passengers are seeing to be more effective.

Overall, I had a good experience with Rainbow Air. We bought our tickets before noon and came back when they told us to be there for our flight. We still had to wait about an hour before our flight. The four of us (all adults) boarded the helicopter and then the pilot ramped up the rotors a couple of times before deciding that we were too heavy. I think they topped off the fuel before we boarded and a few of our group was a little on the large side...so they split us into two flights. This was not a big deal as the passengers in the front seat could not talk to those in the back seat anyway. Also, this was my first time in a helicopter and I was happy to err on the side of caution! Our flight was only about 8 minutes long...and the other half our group was only in the air for about 7 minutes. I didn't really notice but some of our non-flying members of our family told me later that they had timed it since they didn't have anything better to do! During our fight they gave passengers on both sides some great views and I was able to take some great photos! The staff was courteous and professional. I would definitely use Rainbow Air again.

A great experience. The flight was great and the views are magnificent. Less than 10 minutes but didn't fill like it was too quick. The time was enough and the pilot took 3 rounds around the falls. 1. No online reservation. We arrived the first day early afternoon and there was no point standing and waiting the long line. Came early the next morning. But many might not be able to take the flight. 2. They said that we will be able to take a photo with the helicopter after we land but eventually we were rushed out...

Had a wonderful experience! The scenery was gorgeous. And the pilot and the staff were really nice! Eventhough the price is like $145 cc($140 cash), it was worth the experience!

Thoroughly enjoyed an absolute stunning experience. Staffs are friendly. Need to buy ticket and wait for atleast 2 hours on weekends. So plan accordingly.

Amazing experience ! I would say get bathrooms and maybe some merchandise and advertise how high you take customers.

It was worth every penny!!! Flight was a good length of time to see the falls and rivers. I video recorded the whole flight for my pictures. The Canadian boarder was closed and we only had 1/2 a day to see everything. It saved us from the horrible line at the Maid of the Mist and Observation tower. The staff are professional, efficient and clear with time expectations. The park is located right next to falls, the river walk is beautiful, and there are no lines. We had a great trip and the helicopter ride was the highlight!!

This was definitely favorite part of our Niagara vacation! The views from the helicopter are absolutely breathtaking. I would definitely recommend anyone to do this tour. It is definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Spectacular views of the Niagara Falls - both horseshoe and american falls. The helicopter goes over Canada side as well giving the beautiful Toronto skyline view. Whatever falls views you may miss by not being on the Canada side, this flight can give you much more than that. The pilot was pretty involved too, nudging me from point to point to show the beautiful views. One thing that could be improved though is the token system that is manual and as it was too loud due to helicopter engine, it is difficult to hear which token number is called. Perhaps switching to a vibrating token system like the one in Panera or so many other places can address that.

No advance purchase/reservations allowed. So, get there early and wait. Or wait was around 1.5 hours. There is plenty of seating available outside in the shade while you wait. You might want to call first to make sure they aren’t grounded because of weather/cloud cover. Friendly, efficient staff and well worth the $. Check their website for hours/days of operation, google was not accurate

👍👍 It’s been months since I’ve been to a museum but I’m glad I restarted my adventures here. While the exterior looks small, it’s bigger than you think. While still a relatively small museum I was able to spend nearly 2.5 hours there. The staff are very knowledgeable and very polite. It’s also not ever...
