Loved the hiking path. Covered with tiny wood chips so not muddy. Old stone buildings to see, along with old growth forest. Trail heads are set back, and are not marked from the main roads. No marks once you get in there, but no way to get lost. Very old grave marker right in the middle of the park.

De Veaux woods is a beautiful place to escape for an hour and perfect for kids. The playground is awesome and combines nature study with physical activity. There are two hiking trails that are peaceful and well maintained. Don't expect a workout but they are good for nature observation and make a good circuit with nearby Whirlpool State Park.

Great park, lots of trails, playground for all children ages, clean bathrooms, nice picnic areas. I saw a fenced off dog park as well. Good, family friendly place to spend the afternoon exploring.

Nice looking park, walked through old growth forest, trees were nice, mosquitoes not so nice, one big mud hole to traverse (ankle deep). Took other path to gravesite, nice walk. Would be nice if workers would pick up all the old broken glass at the grave, just out of respect.

Beautiful trail park, relaxing and peaceful. However, avoid high grass as this area is known for ticks. It's best to stay on trail.

My kids love this park! So many fun and fit play activities, the turf feels awesome, and literally ANY child who loves engaged play is encouraged to visit!

This is a great park! It's clean, there is a small toddler-friendly play set and a big area for bigger kids. There is fabulous shock-absorbing padding down. There is equipment for kids to take measured risks and be a little wild. I love it here.

Great place to take the kids for a picnic, nature walk, or just to play on the playground. Stop here on your bike trips and check out the new rides they installed to the playground. Maybe a hike on the woods trail to view some old-growth trees is more your style, either way you will enjoy the park. Note: paved path connects to Greenway Trail and Whirlpool State Park, two other fabulous places to visit!! We are never disappointed when we are here!

First time here and we were pleasantly surprised!! Park was very clean and there was ample parking close to the playground area. Kid friendly and safe. It looked to be relatively new playground. Ground was clean and my son enjoyed laying in the sun watching the bigger kids play!

Beautiful play ground. Tons of climbing activities. Very soft ground so kids dont get hurt when they fall. Absolutely gorgeous place.
