This was such a cool place. As an adult, I loved the abundance of information and the creative way it is presented throughout the building. My kids loved the hands on activities and really learned quite a bit about electricity especially through the 4D simulator. We would definitely come back, and recommend to anyone looking for something to do with the kids. The only reason this is a four and not a five star review is several kiosks throughout were not working, but touch screens can be finicky and they may have been the last time someone checked them out.

I went in Sept of 2018. It was free and it took like 2 hours to go through. Very kid friendly. Great information and interactive things. Would definitely go again especially since I now have a toddler.

Okay, one of the best places to bring kids for educational purposes. Also has a cool simulator and cool games. My favorite part is the outside part on the balcony.

My family and I went there today for the first time. We all had a good time and was free for all of us. It wasn't really crowded and there was plenty of thing's for the kids and the wife and I to do. The kids had a blast. We will definitely be back when we come back to Niagara Falls.

Well, did we get hit with an absolutely awesome surprise! This was not all that we were expecting, we were expecting boring. We got electrified! Lol. It was a lot of fun. Adults liked it as much as the kids did. Plenty of activities to do along with a fantastic view for picture taking. Don't underestimate this Powerful experience!

Enjoyed this place a lot. There is a lot of hands on exhibits that teach about water, electricity. Definitely a fun time and will return when we are in the area. It's about a 15 min drive from Niagara Falls. Make sure you do the movie. That is a lot of fun! The view is amazing too!

Fun, interactive and educational. My family and I were visiting the area for Niagara Falls and saw this as a potential stop (it’s free no entry fee). We had a blast , it’s a self guided touch and interactive experience. Highly recommend watching 4D video and 2D video. Great views from top. Great for all ages to learn and see how power is generated and transmitted.

The Niagara Power Vista greatly exceeded our expectations! There were lots of interactive activities for kids to learn about electricity, power generation, and the power grid. We spent a few hours exploring the multiple floors of activities and everyone (even the adults) had fun. Definitely recommend checking it out if you visit Niagara Falls... it's also FREE!

This was close to the falls, and a nice little getaway from that area. The people we dealt with were very friendly and welcoming. You can't beat the price, and I found the displays to be quite enlightening and interesting.

Another great destination to add to your Niagara Falls list of places to visit and it's FREE!! Lots of great exhibits for a hands on educational experience. Tons of history and information about how the falls and water flowing through this area generates power for the US and Canada. Definitely part of the experience!

Fun day! And a free charge for our electric jeep while we paid a visit! #4xe What a friendly staff too!! Great place, kids had a blast. I'd love to see more of the actual workings of the plant itself.

It was pretty fun for a rainy day in Niagra Falls. The kids got to learn about the power plant and how electricity is generated from the falls. I probably would have given it more stars however half their exhibits weren't open or working and the whole reason we went were the 4D theater and the electricity ball thing and neither were working that day.

What a blast! We were visiting the area and decided to check this out. We had low expectations because it’s a free educational experience. It blasted our expectations out of the water! We had a really fun time, while learning a lot in the process. We had a group of 9 kids, ages 1-12, and 6 adults. We stayed about 3 hours and had to drag the kids away because the adults were really hungry. The kids liked the 4D experience theater, as well as the mining exhibit. Their favorite part was the personalized ID badges with the lanyards and their photos on them. The adults had a great time pretending to run the power grids - it was like a video game, but educational. I liked how people could work together on some features and compete on others. There are also amazing views from the observation deck, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this experience!

Fun, interactive and educational. My family and I were visiting the area for Niagara Falls and saw this as a potential stop. My wife and I had our teenage daughter and her friend with us, and they had a blast as everything is made to be touched and interacted with. Great for all ages to learn and see how power is generated and transmitted.

Listen they try. It's not the first stop one would think of when you think of educational engagement, but they do try with many interactive experiences. There's no better example of this than there 4D virtual experience "ride". The views from the top are breathtaking as well. You can comfortably experience everything in about two hours. Not quite a hidden gem, but I do give them an A for effort for the attempts they make to attract a younger audience. I would say good for grades 4 through 6.

This was very interesting and we learned a lot about the history of the plant and how it operates. The movie in the theater is very good. And the discussion between Tesla and Edison was entertaining. Great views of Niagara River and the US and Canadian plants from the outdoor deck. Lots of interactive exhibits. The attraction is free.

All I can say is that if you're a historian and love science of all things like me. Take the entire day off, leave cell phone at home, and get lost here! This is a hidden gem! Ooo and it's FREE!!! I want to do this for my birthday!!! 6/4

We stopped here after Niagara Falls State Park visit. Definitely worth it if you have the time as you get some great history of the power of the Niagara River and how things started.

We enjoyed our visit here. Very cool ride and exhibits. It was also cool to walk outside and have a birdseye view of Niagara River and the Canada side. This is also a stop for the free Niagara Trolley and this lot has free parking. We spent about 90 min here and would have stayed another hour if it weren't closing.

We found this place in a trifold of free things to do it was awesome! Definitely a great place for kids! We got hooked up with Bob and he was great! He even recommended a lunch spot! You have to do the ride and you have to touch the ball! Wish I had more time to spend there so plan for a few hrs!

A very good place to learn and experience the science in action. Highly recommended for the children studying science. A hands on experience on the models proves to be a sustainable learning exposure.

We were drawn here today by the “Touch A Truck” event they were hosting and were pleasantly pleased to see all the upgrades to the facilities. They now have a planetarium exhibit and an educational “ride” to entertain visitors. The only improvement I would recommend is to not let the vending machines in the eating area all go broke at the same time.
