My rating might change in the future knowing the park is up and coming with the new owners and knowing it's rebounding from being abandoned and vandalized after 2020. However this rating is solely based on this visit and not the potential of what the part has. Signage entering that park is very small and easy to miss with so much stuff written on each sign. Nothing that really says IM AT THE AMUSEMENT PARK ENTRANCE. Although not team members fault, in multiple locations of the front gate from ticket window to where you pick up season passes, you could easily tell that there was a lack of training. I felt bad for the 3 team members I encountered with lack of training. Park it's self was very clean. Plentiful lifeguards on duty always scanning the water. Free life vest available if need be, lockers priced between $12-$15. If anything, a lack of blue mats to go down slides but it was still okay because I never really waited more than 5 minutes to get one. Overall a great value for what you get and will be even better once they are able to get thebwave pool open and the dry rides open. It's come along way since being abandoned in 2020 and trespassers leaving there markings. Some which you can lightly still see inside slides where they struggles to wipe clean. The knew little kids area under 42" is super nice and has lots of attractions to keep your kid laughing and tire them out. Although the park has a long way to go. It's great for the value for the water park for the entire family and the dry rides are great for 42" and under at this time.

My kids & I enjoyed ourselves at the Splash Park. Everything was just fun, relaxed, and smiles. We had such a positive experience. Being a Mom & Pop kind of Amusement Park we felt like we were home & that we belonged there. The workers were super friendly, which helped my special needs kids feel at ease. The food was delicious and well priced, especially for an amusement park! We will definitely be back soon.

This was my first visit to the park. Brought my 6 year old daughter and 5 year old son! My daughter is over the 48 inch mark and my son is 42 inches. My daughter enjoyed the park much more than my son did. It is a cute park. It needed some spring cleaning, but it was opening weekend. The season pass processing was absolutely horrible! Ive never in my life seen anything so slow and unorganized! The rides are okay... Most are just comparable fair rides that are now stationary to the park. Silver Comet was a nice looking wood coaster. I personally didn't get to ride this trip, but my daughter did and she really enjoyed it. Prices were fairly cheap for an amusement park. The staff was also very miserable. More so in the kiddie land than on larger rides. I plan on returning more in the middle of the season!

Can only speak about the water park, but it's well worth the price of admission. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, and a couple went out of their way to greet us. I'm sure it'll take time to add attractions, both in the water park and amusement park sections, but the experience for the small price was worth it. Highly recommend the water park on a hot day...

Pretty good park for once or twice a summer. Be sure to spend the whole day. Perfect for kids and the lines aren't long at all. They need to provide some TLC on some of the older rides like the Antique Cars, but other than that it's a blast for the family. The prices are much more reasonable too, expect to pay less than half of what their larger area competition charges for admission and concessions.

I know the park is still being worked on, and yes there is a lot of visible construction. We went as a family of 8 and had reasonable expectations before entering. Every staff member we encountered was BEYOND FRIENDLY, HELPFUL and genuinely thankful to us for being there. The food was reasonably priced and very good. The park and restrooms were clean and it was very clear that they are working hard to restore the park to its full potential. If you have kids under 5 I do recommend taking a day this summer to visit.

Purchased tickets on Groupon (thank goodness!). There were only a few rides available for a 10 year old to ride, about three. I asked a staff member about the availability of rides, they said most of the rides were closed. Could not direct us to another area beyond the โ€œwater park.โ€ Everyone seemed to remain at the water areaโ€”itโ€™s barely a park. Thereโ€™s about three slides/activities. A kiddie slide and a pool like area. There was a violent western show with a gun fight. Thereโ€™s no map, I guess itโ€™s so small it isnโ€™t needed. There were almost no wait for the kiddo to ride the three rides and slides.

Nice little park that's in a rehabilitation phase. Silver Comet their wooden coaster is a really fun and smooth ride. I wasn't expecting it to a smooth ride either lol. Can't wait to see what this park has planned and I look forward to see it grow

I could have stayed all day, soaking in every last bit of nostalgia that the park offers. What a gift the new owners have given to WNY. At the point of writing this review the park only offers Kiddie Land & the water park, but everywhere you turn there are people very hard at work to make the park what it used to be. So far, they have perfectly mixed the new with the old. There are beautiful new rides, but landmarks like the big blue Pinocchio whale and the purple gazebos still stand to allow us adults to bask in our fond memories for a moment in time. The customer service was WONDERFUL - from the man who greeted us at check out, to the sweet train conductor, to the attendants of the Dippin Dots stand in the water park, to the ride attendants, to the Story Book performers - all were a breath of fresh air and so incredibly kind, friendly, and courteous. Was it a little sad to see some parts of the park in disrepair? Sure. Would older children have lots do as of now? Probably not. But do I have hope that the park will continue to build up to what it once was? Absolutely! Keep up the great work guys! Can't wait to see what you do next!

THEY SHOULD TELL YOU THAT PARTS OF THE PARK ARE CLOSED WHEN YOU GET TO THE GATE. Not after you pay and walk towards stuff you actually came for. Came on a cloudy Saturday. No rain. They closed the water park because of the clouds. No stands were open. Workers were running from ride to ride to even operate the rides for the guests. Just go to Darien Lake instead.

We had been watching over the last few years how our beloved Fantasy Island was falling into disrepair and actually closing. The new ownership is definitely doing something right! Sure, some rides are gone but many are still here and in good shape too. The Wild West shootouts are still great! The train and the silver comet still are a major part of the fun. The food we had at the Steak place was excellent. The crowds were light and that worked for us just fine. The saloon had ice cream, a decent beer selection and a stage show. Above all, the adult workers and the younger student age workers were Pleasent and showed a sincere desire to make this a special day for my 12,10,4 and 2 year old grandchildren. There are several rides coming back and new ones on the way. They are on the right track. A great day just before school starts up again!

The grandkids are loving it! I hadn't been here since my preteen years. The new owners have reopened the kiddie rides and water park. And seem to be doing a good job of restoring and keeping it clean. Price is slightly lower than other similar places in the WNY area.

We will be going back.. a truly historic theme park. Not to big or small. Lots to do and see. Actors play part of a western theme with real parts. A good variety of amusement rides. Lots of snack and drink stands. The staff are informative and friendly. Dont miss the chance to visit.

Perfect experience for a family with smaller kids! Great deal currently (Aug-Sept 2017) - you can get a family pass for the remainder of this year that is good for all of 2018 as well! We havenโ€™t even gone to their water park yet, but our kids ages 3-10 all have something to do here! Sometimes the kiddie rides have attendants that alternate between rides, so there is a wait, but itโ€™s not usually too long.

Fantasy Island is a great park for young kids...simple rides, small waterpark, took us 25 minutes to get there from the Falls. We got a season's pass in August 2018 which was also good for all of 2019. It includes free parking! We had our kids play in the park for an hour or two, then ate our lunch outside the park (we packed a picnic) then back into the park for more rides and the waterpark. Lines are short for rides and the waterpark which is great when you have young kids. Lifeguards are very visible and active, especially at the last lizard. Most staff was very friendly, there were a few ride attendants in the Kiddie Zone that looked bored out of their minds...but that's their perspective, my kids loved the short lines and jumping from one ride to the next. We will definitely be going back several times this summer. Great quick family outing that's close to home. It's no Darien Lake or Canada's Wonderland but our kids are only 6 and likely would be overwhelmed by how busy and large those amusement parks are. If you know what you're getting going in, young kids will have a blast.

Went with my family thought it would be pretty cheap and fun. Park closed within 1 hour of lightning only went on a few rides. Everyone that purchased tickets at the gate got a full refund. I didn't get a refund because I purchased it online. I was told to reach out to the IB parks team and after trying multiple times they just emailed me once saying tickets are non-refundable when everyone got refunds for their tickets in front of me. I replied with an email and never heard anything back. Worst spent $100 and definetly not looking to go back. A whole new management and terrible customer service already.

Extremely disappointed! First of all the kids area didn't have enough workers managing the rides. 1 worker for 3 rides :( the seats on the rides were all metal so they were so piping hot and lots of kids were complaining. The height for the scrambler needs to be adjusted. No kidding when I tell you thank God an adult went on with my grandson cuz he would have flew out! For the older kids and adults not many rides at all and they were pretty muched plunked on the cement. Waterpark was OK. It seems like financially the park is suffering and they are trying to make a few bucks before it crumbles. It's too bad because years ago it use to be a place we took our kids every year and was worth the money and well maintained. My suggestion is pass on this one!!!!

We won free tickets and honestly I wouldn't bother buying them. This place has gone down hill. I understand they are renovating but it's so sad to see it so run down. The only rides for older kids are the slingshot (pictured) bumper cars, silver comet, flying machine. Some of the smaller rides were not running as well. No outside beverages or food is allowed inside. Most of the food places are closed or have nothing for picky kids. The water park was ok. The wave pool was not open.

A huge shoutout to the company who is bringing it back to life! Without them, it would have been lost forever. They are rebuilding it and is fantastic so far! With more time will come more attractions. Definitely a must visit, especially for the little kids!

Went over the weekend on their last open day of the season. The crowds were almost nonexistent which is good for me as there were no waits. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this park. It is very obvious that it is undergoing renovations as a lot of the park is closed off and itโ€™s easy to see construction vehicles, but that just means Iโ€™ll have to come back when all of their new rides open up. Itโ€™s not on the level of a six flags but itโ€™s much more charming and personable. Every employee I interacted with was very pleasant and seemed to be enjoying themselves. For now, I would recommend this park for families. Although, the big wooden roller coaster they have is surprisingly smooth and very fun. However, it appears that they will be opening more thrill rides in the future, as well as more roller coasters. I will be returning whenever these eventually open.

Was a little sketched out coming in and seeing the disassembled roller coaster in the parking lot, but the staff is super friendly and seem enthusiastic about the park. They have a good selection of kids rides and the roller coaster is really wild. Hopefully they get the rest of it open soon.

It was not crowded on the day I was there so that was a bonus. The lazy river is a great way to spend a few hours. Water was chilly but refreshing. And clean. You can see that the new owners need to do some repairs around the park and not all water slides or rides are open yet. But, hopefully improvements will be made in the off season. Only 1 side of the Double Dare slide was working.

I'm a teacher and my husband works nights, we got season passes this year and while he sleeps at home I have been bringing my nearly-six-year-old here several times a week for the day. The staff are incredible, the actors are hilarious, most of the lifeguards are extremely kind and helpful, and we have been having the time of our lives. There isn't a lot open, and if it weren't for the fact that we try to swim 20 laps in the lazy river at least three times a week we might get pretty bored, but if you are local this place is a true gem.

This is a good place to go with the kids and summer vacation. The season pass is very reasonable and you also get a refillable cup in .for drinks and popcorn or cotton candy. Not too far away and free parking .

Not too bad. The main slides weโ€™re all running, but the wave pool and the kiddie pool were closed. It was definitely worth the $10 admission. The snack bar was just OK, pretty scaled back and the portion size on the chicken fingers were tiny. Looking forward to next year when they open the rest of the park. We will be back for sure.
