I am going to start by saying I am writing this review on a throwaway google account of mine because based on other negative reviews it seems like the owner tries to hunt you down in her files. That is honestly very creepy in my opinion and I value my privacy. I played a few of the games here a couple months ago and compared to the other games in the area they are really disappointing. As a big escape room fan, it seems to me like they build their rooms to be difficult rather than fun. I expect hard puzzles when I play escape rooms but spending 20 minutes trying to solve a single puzzle just to get a lackluster "big reveal" is not my idea of fun. Not only do the rooms tend to repeat the same puzzle over and over but they are also all dimly lit and very low tech. From what I remember only one puzzle uses any sort of technology and the rest are all basic locks and keys. This leaves a lot of room for error as the one game I played one of the locks was on backwards and so even though we had the right combination it would not open until someone told up over the mic that we had to awkwardly flip over the lock and input the code on the back side. We did end up receiving a discount for the game error but not before overhearing a manager talking down to the employee who ran the game. (I do not think that was something they should be doing in front of customers, if at all.) I had mentioned all this to a friend who had also played some of their games and they told me that halfway through their game a speaker had died and an employee had to come down with new batteries for it as it was crucial to the game. Between the low tech puzzles, important items being out of battery and all of the props and decorations looking like they were purchased from a thrift store 20 years ago I am very disappointed. You would think that a company with two locations and enough money to be constantly advertised to me they would have some money to invest into their games. Although even with new props, decor, and technology I am not sure I would be able to recommend them to my friends and family as the games all felt frustrating and stale rather than fun and exciting. If you only care about hard puzzles and don't mind them repeating then this is the place for you, but if you're looking for somewhere with fun puzzles and cool concepts then I suggest you look elsewhere.

I really love to here! The puzzles are me and definitely challenging, I've done over a 100 escape rooms and I did this with 2 people. The rooms we did were moonshine and stool pigeon, I really loved it and we escaped stool pigeon with about 10 minutes. But we barely failed moonshine by about 30 seconds. There's definitely some harder puzzles to get where they come from, but they're not impossible and I do really like it here. Everything follows a theme and everything is very well detailed oriented . There's other escape rooms around the area and I've tried to go there (break out) and that was over a $100 for 2 people including tax due to the fact that it's a group rate. I loved it here and I can't wait to go again. I definitely recommend more than 2 people probably atleast 3 for the rooms but I think that you can do it with 2 if you really think of it! ( Plus it's pride month and they were super inclusive with all their designs, they have pride flags in the waiting room and they have Skittles in the room.. I love that)

Great escape room! We liked the real life feel the multi-room set up gave the atmosphere of the game. I also appreciated that they didn't jump in too soon trying to give hints when we got stumped and gave us some time to try and work it out on our own first. Had tons of fun, we'll definitely be back to play the other rooms!

Super awesome fun time. That’s how I’d describe this event. We did the Missing Finger and had a blast. Challenging enough for us. And we finished just a minute and a half past the timeframe. Great rooms to search through. I’d highly recommend it for a group of friends.

An Escape Room experience was on my 40 things to do before I am 40 list so my girlfriends surprised me with doing one! It was a ton of fun and Colleen our 'host' was so enthusiastic and pumped us up before we went. The one we did was the most difficult one and we still had fun - I really liked the clues they gave us when we were truly stuck - it never took away from the experience it only added to it. Thanks so much for a great time - will be back again!

Great place to go as a couple or with a group. My wife and I attended Adventure Rooms Niagara Falls for our second time and it was a great experience. The rooms are challenging and make you think outside the box. The staff are very friendly and helpful when needed. The rooms are well built. We will continue to return until we have escaped them all!

This escape room experience was AWESOME! The staff were so friendly and great at explaining the room without giving too much away right off the bat! The puzzles were difficult but solvable and the room was a great size with lots of surprises throughout it! The ‘story’ of the room could have used a bit more fleshing out about why we were in the room to begin with but that’s such a small thing. A very very fun experience and I’d definitely go back next time I’m in Niagara and will check out the other location if I’m ever in Kitchener! Highly recommend!

Out of all the escape rooms I've done, this one was my least enjoyable. I played Stool Pigeon which was their newest room and I found the room to have many flaws which to the player was not challenging but frustrating. For one, the game was very linear so you could only do one puzzle at a time. Being in a larger group I found at times I was waiting to be engaged in to the puzzles. So I would recommend no more then 3 players in this room. Secondly, I found that a few puzzles were not very clear on what was expected from the player leaving us waiting for the timed clues (which overall led us to not completing the room). Finally their was the same style of puzzle that occurred 3 different times within this room so it felt repetitive. Although we did not complete the room. I did not leave feeling challenged but frustrated with the discrepancies that delayed our time, due to lack of clarification within the room. On a positive, the concept of the room was nicely designed and that they allowed us the allocated time to finish the room after the 60 minute mark. I do not know if I will try another room with this company, but if I ever are in the area I may consider one of their older more established rooms.

A solid way to spend time with friends and a solid team building exercise too for businesses looking for staff to bond. Lucky for me it’s been nearly 30 years of bonding with these 2 best friends of mine. Would do this again any time.

I did 'the collector' with a group of 6, and managed to clear with about 10 minutes left. It was a great experience, with a very fun clue mechanic. Staff were nice, props were well done, puzzles were never obtuse or confusing. A very solid, enjoyable escape room experience. On the scale between linear and open ended, I'd say it was middling, leaning open ended.

My inaugural escape room experience was nothing short of spectacular. We tackled the challenging "The Missing Finger" and emerged victorious with a mere five minutes to spare. Our host exhibited exceptional skills, guiding us through our moments of sheer madness and confusion with subtle hints. As if this adrenaline-pumping adventure wasn't thrilling enough, there was a delightful Halloween event, which added an extra layer of excitement to the experience and concluded with a reward of candy. This unexpected bonus made our day even more memorable. Without a doubt, we're already planning our triumphant return.

I have had the pleasure of attempting Moonshine and The Collector. Today, I had the pleasure of completing The Missing Finger. Fantastic! I love all of their escape rooms and will be back for Stool Pigeon. I particularly enjoy each room themes big secret and how physical the room puzzles are. You are literally handcuffed to a pipe. Exactly what I look for in escape rooms! Thank you for the excellent time Game Masters! Jay, thank you so much for all your help over the phone, figuring out which games I've already played. They were so friendly and eager to help. I hope to have you as my GM for Stool Pigeon! 🤩💖

An amazing experience and worth the money spent. Our family did the missing finger room. First time doing an escape room as a family. Parents and 2 kids age 9 and 10. It was challenging for us and our tweens. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service. Will be back again next time we are in the area!

What a fun experience! If you've never been definitely worth the trip! The staff were friendly and informative and the puzzles were hard but we managed to beat the room.

We visited Adventure Rooms Canada on our recent trip to Niagara Falls. It was so much fun and the escape room we did was amazing! The design was beautiful and detailed and the clues were just hard enough and unique enough to be challenging but solvable. The staff was superb and friendly and the building was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be visiting here again and recommending it to our friends!

Our first time escape room experience was as amazing as it could be. My husband and I went with our 6.5 years old daughter and we had so much fun trying to escape from ‘The collector’s room’ which has 24% escape %age. Though we couldn’t really escape successfully but it was still very entertaining experience overall. The room was setup with interesting riddles and clues that are not language/culture or theme specific so anyone who can read numbers/or basic english can participate. In fact, our daughter helped us find some keys as well. Pre-booking a slot for your family or team is a good idea since they are generally busy. We did a walk-in but their team was able to book us an hr long within 2 hours of our walk-in. Our host Jay was lovely. She explained us the instructions well and was supportive through the process given we were the first timers. She even explained the remaining steps of the riddle that we couldn’t crack in the given time and the additional time she allowed us kindly. This escape room experience is great for team building or for curious and adventurous kids. There is nothing spooky/scary or inappropriate that you might want to protect your kids from. Our daughter was so proud of her participation. Overall, a 5 star experience. We are for sure going back again!

We have done all 4 rooms here and they were all great! Some puzzles are more challenging than others but they do offer hints if you are really stuck. The decorations are awesome and some cool things happen as the games progress. Staff are always very friendly. Wish there were more rooms so we could keep playing!

Today marks the day where my husband and I finally did every rooms the Adventure Rooms could offer! With the exception of the Original Adventure, that we didn't like as much (but we have to remember ourself that this is the very first escape room open in Canada!) we found every room interesting, unique and fun. Every room can be completed with 2 persons, the price is really reasonable and the staff is always great.

Had a larger group for my birthday and this was one of the only escape rooms to accommodate a large group, which I appreciated, especially being from out of town. We did The Missing Finger duels. I enjoyed the competitive aspect to playing duels and everyone had a lot of fun. It was also a plus that they had little games to play in the entrance room during the break between switching rooms. Definitely will be back to try the other ones.

What an amazing experience! I was so pleasantly surprised by how much fun our adventure was. I highly recommend everyone give this a try! And a big thank you to our guide who let us finish our room even though we ran out of time, it was the best escape room experience I've ever had!

It was a great team building exercise, not what I expected for Niagara Falls, but happy one of my peers at work found the experience for us. The multiple choices were nice to see but fortunately for my work team we solved the enigma hiddle in so many riddles and we solved the Escape Room. I would gladly do this again!

We've done 2 escape rooms so far and we always leave feeling like it's been a fun filled experience. The staff are great and the puzzles are challenging. We'll be back again for sure 😊

First time doing an escape room! Wasn't what I expected, BUT it was a tonne of fun! Staff was great, and the concept and layout of the room were super impressive! It's definitely worth the cost of admission ! Would definitely go again!

My first time trying an escape room. I thought it would be cheesy, but it was very challenging and it was fun to work as a team! You need a variety of skills; problem solving, math, word play, picture play, thinking literally outside the box. What's obvious is not always the answer! A fun place and the price was reasonable.

Went with my boyfriend and 2 friends Victoria Day long weekend. Would highly recommend doing the Missing Finger. We didn't make it out, but got about 70% done. Was a fun experience and will definitely be back. Challenging, but not overly frustrating.

We just did The Collector escape room!! It was our first escape room ever!! It was so much fun!! We wanted to do another room right away but they were fully booked. I recommend this to everyone. Jay our host was amazing!! She explained everything perfectly!! And was a lot of fun!! We didn’t make it out in the hour, but we got to continue and made it out 20 seconds after!! And there was only 2 of us!!

This was a first time escape room experience for our group. All of us loved it!! We did The Missing Finger and it was really exciting and fun. A good challenge that we just made it through with 1min 30sec left. Can't wait to try another one!!

38 year old working professional and first time escape room experience. Very surprised at how complex and elaborate the puzzles were. Im not much of a games person but this was one of the funnest experiences I've had in my entire life! Entertaining and challenging. Amazing staff and amazing experience! We will definitely be returning!!

First time doing an escape game. Didn't think much of it til I did it! It was amazing! We did the stool pigeon. It was very challenging but fun. Unfortunately,we weren't able to solve it on time. 😅😅😅 but the staff ( sorry I forgot his name) was so nice at the end and helped us solve it just so we weren't frustrated 😉 . Next time we come to Niagara,we'll do this again. 😄

👍 Very fun experience. Staff are friendly and provide you with some vague clues if you happen to get stuck. They have a variety of rooms to choose from, each with varying difficulty levels.
