I did not go at night so I did not see the colourful lights but I got a birds eye view of the Niagara Falls which was fantastic!

Great stop along with Winter Festival of Lights during the holidays. The Illumination tower is accessible but most paths are not taken care of during the winter, meaning that you have to walk around if you want to take photos with the incredible light displays. The scenery is also quite well done with an excellent selection of floral and fauna. The tower often goes unnoticed as many people don't know what purpose it serves. I'd love to take a tour or read about it more as I am seeing other reviews mentioning the history.

It's so beautiful with all the colorful lights...

Beautiful to see the falls lit up at night...enhances the view and allows for nighttime viewing. I enjoyed watching the colors change periodically and was lucky enough to have my first night in town coincide with the nightly fireworks :)

Needs to be concealed better as it is becoming a bit of an eyesore but does make the falls look better at night.

My photos are from c. 1963 or so. My brothers and myself got to operate the motors that moved the gels and changed the colors of the lights on the falls. The operator was listening to the Stanley Cup Finals and if he could get someone else to change the colors he could listen without that distraction! Dad took photos of us in front of the building the next day.

Ever wondered how the Niagara Falls lights up with Canadian flag colour at night? Illumination Tower is the place from where they project different lights on to the falls. There is light show in the evening and almost throughout the year after sun down. If you plan a trip to Niagara make sure you stay atleast one night to enjoy this light show or visit Falls in the late evening and experience this 😇

I didn’t even know this was a thing! Had the best time with friends from work just changing the colours on the Falls. Simple, good fun.

I was fascinated by the lights that glow up the falls at night and wondered how on earth they do it? I was devastated to find out the magic behind the lights actually are illuminate from a cheap truck with nights from across the river. Night ruined but also childhood ruined 😔😫

Nothing to see there except some nearby gardens. The is nothing in the big round structure - looks like an old water or sewer treatment plant.
