Stay elsewhere! 10 years ago this used to be my go to hotel when shopping cross border… let’s just say a lot of things changed, including standards and cleanliness. We booked 5 nights in the Double Queen Suite. Carpet had not been vacuumed, bathroom floor was sticky, there was still food left in the fridge from the previous guest, couch and chairs look like they have never been cleaned - ever! We were offered to change rooms and the other one was worse - it smelled like someone just finished smoking a cigarette. The lobby always smells like stale beer. The hotel is at near capacity and breakfast was packed which is understandable. The pancake machine was being “overworked” on Saturday morning and conveniently on Sunday it is now out of order. When you’re travelling with young children pancakes are a lifesaver. A comparable food replacement would have been appreciated. The “manager” who was walking around inside the hotel with the unlit cigarette hanging out of his mouth never had resolution / answer to any of our questions. Extremely disappointed with my stay at the Holiday Inn at 10111 Niagara Falls Blvd.

Stayed at the Holiday inn Express for two night's. I'll start with a positives: The bed and pillows were comfortable. There were many things on the needs improvement list. The first is the bathroom: it looks like they were repairs to the wall that weren't finished. There is no exhaust fan, which leaves everything wet and slippery after a shower. There was one light was burned out. There was no Non-skid bottom of the tub and I nearly fell twice. There was one safety bar outside of the shower, but nothing inside the shower The improvements to the sleeping area include: some kind of support under the cushions on the sleeper couch. I sat down and thought my butt was going to hit the floor. You should also provide a little step stool for getting into the bed: it is so high that my husband literally had to give me a hand up. Yes, I am 5'2" and yes, I do have physical limitations, but I should still be able to get into a bed without assistance. There was also a miscommunication about late checkout. The breakfast offerings were also lacking. The pancake machine was not functioning or available. The bakery and cereal selections were limited, as well as the fresh fruit options. The hours even on the weekend were 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. I understand that might be appropriate for weekdays, but the hours should have been extended for the weekends. HIE is usually good value for the money, but with the above concerns, and the pool being closed for maintenance, I think this one missed the mark by a lot!

Absolutely one of the best hotels my husband and I have stayed at, I believe we have already stayed at this hotel about 7-8 times. We just came home from our 5 day stay there. My husband and I go away frequently and in the last few years have stayed at about 10 different hotels a year until we discovered this gem of a hotel. The front desk lady Lysette is amazing, always smiling and helpful as is the rest of the staff there. Bobby is the breakfast/ kitchen manager he is very friendly, approachable, funny person. One of the reasons we love this hotel is the breakfast you get here. The breakfast spread has just about anything you could want apples, bananas, yogurt, muffins, toast, bagels, porridge juice, milk, tea and coffee, you even get eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuits with sausage gravy, nice warm cinnamon rolls. This breakfast is a totally great way to start your day, I usually don't eat breakfast but I do eat it every time I'm at this hotel. All of the staff here work their butts off to ensure guests have a pleasant experience, they bend over backwards in attempt to please all guests and satisfy and and all guests requests from the smallest to the biggest. They are always helpful in recommending great restaurants to eat at, good local shopping, things to do. As I have stayed in many rooms I will address this too, all rooms are nice and cozy, my room has always been spotlessly clean, the beds are comfy, soft clean linens, really nice pillows and the towels are nice too. There bathrooms are well stocked with dove shampoos, conditioners and body wash we we fell in love with, they always offer more if you need it and one great thing is they put signs in the bathroom telling you if you forgot something at home they have extras you can ask them for. The rooms match the pictures shown on the website. The entire hotel from grounds, to lobby, breakfast area are clean. This hotel is well run by staff and management you can tell they enjoy their jobs there, I have personally witnessed everyone of the team hustle to make guests happy. It is our home away from home, a pure delight to visit anytime we can a joyful, quiet, relaxing getaway everytime. Keep up all the great work guys, I'm already looking forward to our next stay with you.

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn in Niagara Falls from September 24 to September 30, 2023, was unfortunately a string of disappointments. From the very start, our experience was marred by a series of issues that left a lasting negative impression. The problems began at check-in, where the receptionist was not only unhelpful but also displayed rudeness and a lack of knowledge. Our initial room was in a deplorable state, with the television on, towels strewn on the floor, and an unclean restroom. This was not the welcome we had hoped for after a tiring journey. When we reported the room's condition, the receptionist provided another room, only to find that the keys did not work, resulting in a frustrating trip back to the reception desk. Despite the inconvenience, an apology was not offered, and when we requested a refund, we were simply reassigned to a third room. The third room was no better, with cleanliness concerns that extended to a carpet with visible vomit stains and large spider webs. This experience took a toll on our comfort and hygiene, as one of us even developed a rash, and bed bugs were discovered crawling at night. The unpleasant experience did not end there. The staff in charge of the breakfast area, particularly Bobby, exhibited an appalling attitude, showing a complete lack of manners and a hostile demeanor. Instead of providing assistance or guidance, he rebuffed questions and insisted that guests consume only what he had prepared. In summary, our stay at the Holiday Inn in Niagara Falls was marred by issues from the very beginning, including rude and unhelpful reception staff, dirty and unsatisfactory rooms, bed bug infestations, and poor customer service in the breakfast area. It was an unfortunate and deeply unsatisfactory experience that fell far short of the standards one would expect from a reputable hotel chain. I will never stay in Holiday Inn again 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 I hope that the management of this Holiday Inn takes this feedback seriously and takes the necessary steps to address and rectify these issues to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests

Keep driving! The pictures online are deceiving. This may have been a nice hotel at one time, but seems to have been neglected. Unfortunately we weren’t able to switch our reservation to another place because of how we booked it. The common spaces and our room were dirty and had a musty smell. There were stains everywhere. The sink didn’t drain. The chemical smell from the pool and the cloudy water made it unusable.Very disappointed!

I’m only giving this a 4 star review because of the Pool being out of service which having the pool was one of the perks of booking this hotel. I think the next time guests should be given the courtesy of being told that something is under construction at that time. But honestly everything else is perfect 🤩 It’s a great location to book if you’re going to see the Niagara Falls because it’s literally up the road and there’s so many places to eat and shop around here.

It’s old. It’s dingy. The cleaning crew isn’t the greatest. I think it was a bit over priced for the quality of the hotel and room. Needs updated very VERY bad. BUT. The staff is nice. The staff is very nice actually so that makes up for the other negatives I think.

The room wasn’t as clean as it could have been - there was a gob of hair on the floor when we walked in, and the bedsheets had multiple stains. Breakfast was decent each morning, but the coffee & hot water carafes are not maintained 24/7 (something I usually find at other HIE). Great location away from the craziness of downtown Niagara, and the front desk was accommodating when we requested additional towels for our 4-night stay.

This hotel was one of the worst ones I have ever been in. The service, when someone is at the desk, is awful and unkind. They said they do room refreshers which include new towels, empty trash, and make the beds. None of this was done and my group was gone for the entire day. It smells in the room, especially the bathroom of mold. The sheets had a huge stain as well. The fire alarms are also battery operated and not electric, considering the rest of the state of the hotel, these alarms do not have new batteries. The pool is also murky and unkept. The only part of this place that is worth staying here is the location. Besides that find another hotel.

Lovely hotel. The toilet is a lil loud but very powerful. It was also a little dated. We had a small leak in the sink that left puddles of water on the counter. And dog friendly. 🐕 would definitely stay here again.

Our room on the 4th floor was clean and quiet. This HI is near the airport. The price seemed a little high for the location but we needed a pet friendly stay so we booked it. Breakfast was good.

Had a great experience! Service was great. Beds were clean and fluffy. Carpet needs replacing? Breakfast was good except pancake machine just so "happen" to not "work"! So I could only give 4 stars.

Not off to a good stay! Approaching the property it appears run down and dilapidated! We booked a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa pull out for our family of 5. Well the pull out is disgusting and won't be used for sure. The exhaust in the bathroom is broken and the room is generally not well cleaned and there was a used cup next to the coffee machine. Not worth over $340 for a Saturday night!!

We had 3 rooms reserved. One of the rooms had not been cleaned, so it had to be switched. One of the other rooms had mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. In one room, the shower rod had been pulled out of the wall and fixed. The curtain would not close, so water went all over the floor. One of the members in our party came to get ice around 3 am and saw a nonemployee go into the kitchen and get food.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the room was standard Holiday Inn Express Fare but was exceptionally clean. It was also nice to be able to open a window for some fresh air. On the negative side, the outside could do with a bit of tidying up and the parking lot needs to be resurfaced as there were many potholes. We would stay there again.

HIE in my opinion is known for consistency. Yo me the consistency is in value from value pricing, updated rooms and most important clean hotels. This property was a complete let down. Upon getting to our room the door handle was broken to start. Inside the rooms it was dark and unappealing as the walls requires painting, there were chairs that had no business being in the room and would have been better without them (not sure anyone would sit on them) and the shower curtain rod was falling off the wall and had numerous repairs previously done to it. I didn’t even want to venture into the breakfast in the morning. Just wanted to get out of there. The area in general that this property is in, has become run down and filled with a lot of motels on this strip of road. I would put this HIE in the same class as those around it. IHG, please do better.

Stayed here with my family and no complaints. Pool was open, breakfast actually exceeded my expectation, lots of parking. We booked 2 rooms, one was a suite; very spacious, and the bathrooms were clean. Beds were comfortable, sheets were clean, hotel smelled really great. Location was few minutes from falls and shopping. Front desk staff; Lisette was really friendly and professional.

We stayed 2 weeks back and never book any holidayinn in the future. The room carpets were smelly and you can not stay even 1 hour. Looks all the carpets in the walkway and corridor also smells bad , not sure if they clean this year at once or not. When I requested them to change the room they said no rooms available and gave room fresheners. The Ac unit while running also smells bad. The hotel itself not hygienic at all. Beware of staying holidayinn hotels. We thought of canceling and planned to go to some other hotels near by Niagara falls. Stay away from this hotel when you visit niagara falls

Leaving with an bad experience. This place is unlike other holiday inn places we had stayed. The entire place smells is unhygienic; Rooms were moldy and the air-conditioning had horrible smell. Neither opening of window or changing rooms had any benefit. Worst of all, saw the desk attendant wearing tank t-shirt. Paying $200+ /day for rooms feels like daylight robbery. One star is only for the friendly staff. Avoid staying at this sink 🕳️ hole

Clean, although dated and slightly worn, room with a bed that was very comfortable. Having both a microwave and half-size refrigerator in the room was a giant plus. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of. Great breakfast, and Bobby was extremely helpful if we needed anything. Did not use the pool, as it had a bit of a green tinge to it.

Staff were great. The room was clean and well equipped. The place was quiet and near a few decent restaurants. This place had the first hot breakfast buffet I have encountered since before CoVid. I had just spent three nights in a fancier Holiday Inn near the Falls. This Express hotel actually was functioning much better.

Quite possibly the most foul Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed in. The entire building smelt of cigarettes and they didn’t even attempt to mask the wretched smell. Upon entering my room I was met with a mystery stain and then switched to the first floor where it was genuinely difficult to breathe thanks to the poor ventilation, water logged walls, ants coming out of the A/C, and piles of hair next to the shower. Please stay away from this establishment.

Good, clean property. Breakfast was hot with different offerings in different days. Few minor cosmetic details here and there to be attended to but overall it is a good property. Will stay again for sure. I was in town on business and stayed 7 days. All staff I had interactions with were very friendly.

I like hotel rooms that have a microwave. This one was a plus because it had a microwave and refrigerator, so we liked being able to store our own food that we brought. We've never been to the Falls, so the hotel was a short distance away and it was easy to find Niagara Falls State Park ( it was like an 8 min drive away). Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel and rooms are clean but there is a lingering smoke smell in the reception and hallways area. However the reason for giving 5 stars is due to the hotel management and staff who are very friendly and accommodating. They made sure our concerns were heard and immediately took action. The staff always greeted us and happily assisted us with our requests. Kudos to the team!
