We had a delightful stay here. We stayed 5 nights and the room was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. There is a nicely stocked shop where you can buy an assortment of food if you don't feel like going out. We found it odd that we had zero housekeeping. We only had one trash can and no one emptied it. We had plenty of towels, but no one took the used ones away. Zero. For 5 days. But it was a small inconvenience. The breakfast was good. It was the same each day and included eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, toast, oatmeal, fruit, and the fluffiest pancakes I've ever had. There is a pool and fitness center. Parking in their lot is $10 per day. The location was fantastic. Just a few minutes walk to anywhere. We would stay here again.

My family had a wonderful stay at this Wingate by Wyndham. We booked online and had no problems checking in. The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. If there is ever coffee in a hotel room we're in my husband and I like to try it, the coffee in our room wasn't half bad, it wasn't amazing but it was good enough. When we stayed it was very quiet, one of the housekeepers told us it was because it was past the busy season but either way it was great for us. We loved it! If/when we go back to Niagara Falls we'll probably stay here again.

3 stars for a 3 star hotel. The best thing about this hotel is the location being right in the smack of downtown Niagara and being just a few minutes walk to the falls. As for everything else, its not bad but could be better. For instance, my biggest gripe was the bathroom in my room. There was a nasty rust stain in my toilet that the staff did a horrible job of covering up. Otherwise, the room was a good size, and the accommodations were met. The gym is small and not a lot to work with so make due of it what you will. The pool is okay but I don't know, it felt icky so I didn't stay. The free breakfast was standard fare and I was fine with that. The staff was either very nice or just pretty cold and not very nice. The lobby is fine, everything is fine. VERDICT: If you're looking for somewhere that's very affordable, perfectly located and is decent, a place where you just want to go back to rest and clean up, this will do and be adequate. If you're looking for something more upscale and fancy, this probably isn't what you're looking for. PROS: -Perfectly located -Affordable -Decent free breakfast and unlimited coffee CONS: -The staff is a hit or miss -The rooms can have some defects that should be fixed

We stayed here 2 nights for To visit Niagara Falls. I will start with the rooms, rooms was better then I expected&saw from the pictures. It was pretty large and not so old. Shower is running very low and the shampoos that hotel provided is the worst so of you will stay here definitely being your own shampoos. Second think is the pool, I actually choose this hotel just because this one has a pool but it was total disappointment, the pool’s floor was very dirty,it was a lot of hair bands and other stuff that people dropped it and not picked up plus a lot of hairs so the pool was very dirty I couldn’t even spend my 5 minutes in there. Thirdly, the hotels free breakfast, okay it’s free and I do not expect anything extra from free breakfast but it was disaster. They only have pancake, sausage and scrambled eggs If you came early and lucky enough to have it. If you came after an hour there is nothing left and they do not refill them. So they were very tasteless and we had our breakfast outside of the hotel. The only thing was good about this hotel was the location to Niagara Falls state park. Otherwise everything was awful and not worth it. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I would start off by saying that it's a perfect location when visiting Niagara Falls area as it's only 13 minutes of walk to Niagara Falls activities. The room was big enough along with AC being there to cool you off. They did have supplies to make coffee but never provided water as you will need to pay for water which doesn't make sense to me and that was the only negative aspect I had seen. The hours for the pool were perfect and it was well organized. There are a lot of places around to eat and Papa John's being so close was a plus point since my son loves Papa John's. Also, parking was included with the hotel stay that I had paid for. Last but not the least, the continental breakfast was awesome as you can eat anything from freshly made Pancakes to Scrambled and so much more. Overall, I will give my visit to this hotel 5 out of 5. I would highly recommend staying there at least once if you are in the area.

I don’t normally leave negative reviews but this one is warranted. Don’t go here. Go to the Sheraton down the road. More about that at the end of this post. The lobby, halls, pool area and common areas were dirty and did not look like they had been mopped for some time. My first room did not lock properly and I had to be moved, which was fine but the young lady from the desk argued with me about why I needed the door to lock. The professionalism of the desk staff was non existent. They were taking turns pushing each other around on the luggage carts in their socks. Their dress and demeanor were far from acceptable. After a sleepless night and multiple calls to the desk about the people down the hall fighting in the common area, we finally went to breakfast and were disappointed to find gnats covering the walls and the food. We called in our reservation to apply my military discount, but the person we spoke to only put in one day of our stay. We were called and told, “Come get your stuff, your reservation is over and we are booked up.” We gathered our stuff and left to go to the Sheraton instead, which was a much better experience, and only slightly more expensive. The Sheraton has a complimentary spa area with a sauna, massage chairs and oxygen therapy. The pool area and hot tub was awesome with a very cool fish tank. The gym was clean and inviting. There is a Starbucks and a Rainforest Cafe in the lobby and the staff and cleanliness were outstandingly excellent.

The location of the hotel is excellent. All sight seeings and restaurants are within walking distances. Parking requires extra charges but is convenient and easily accessible. The breakfast is included and good but the dining area is too small and could be very crowded. The room and beds are clean but the entire bathroom and hallway has urine smells perhaps because the cleaning ladies mop everything including toilets using the same mop/rags. The front desks are friendly but lazy and find various excuses to not do anything. I gave it 3/5 in an overall rating. It is livable and some of issues listed above could be easily resolved.

If I could give less than one star I would. Viewing the hotel online it looked really nice and newly renovated free breakfast which is a plus. Arriving to the hotel once you left the lobby it was extremely dirty. The hallway walls were marked up, the floors were dirty, and everyone was putting their used towels and garbage outside of the rooms to be picked up. On arrival AFTER signing the paper we were told there was no room service or housekeeping due to COVID which I get but, the room was absolutely filthy, the ceiling and walls were marked up the floors didn’t even look swept. We stayed for 4 nights every day we had to have our key cards reprogrammed because they wouldn’t work. After reviewing the charges I was charged an extra 109 dollars more than agreed upon when booking online so I asked about it and was told it was a security deposit but was then charged 576 instead of the original 524. They charge you for everything from taxes to parking fees of 10 dollars a day. It was a horrific experience staying here. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere nice and clean.

Overall hotel was very clean and well maintained. Only issue we had was that our bathroom door would shut. Not a deal breaker for us. Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Didn't get chance to interact with housekeeper but they do excellent job keeping rooms spotless.

I could go lower with the review, but we did have comfy beds and at least an alright breakfast! BUT, with Covid-19 as the main excuse, the room quality was terrible. If you don’t have arachnophobia, you should be just fine!! The people staying above us were so noisy, like they were paid to make anyone on the first floor MISERABLE!!!! The floors aside from the bathroom were always greasy!!!! I literally felt so bad for the staff!! If they get paid more, they will work harder or should just in general!! Require more help and get in gear everyone!! Together, you can improve!!!!!! So, Okay is as good as it will get for me. Won’t come back for a pay that is worth a better upscale stay, unless the treatment and commitment improves sooner than later. Thank you!!

The hotel was good. However the lady who checked me in was very rude. She shouldn’t be in any job that requires customer interaction. I had a toddler who made some noise. As soon as she called me regarding the noise, I apologized to her and promised her it will never happen again. But she was still yelling at me and was keep saying that she is going to escort me out of the hotel. That’s the exact words she used. This kind of people can ruin a business. We stayed for three nights and then did not provide any house keeping services. The front desk told that they would not clean our room until we check out. Very frustrating!

A nice and decent hotel. It had a nice pool but the gym is just a thought. The breakfast was good with fresh items like eggs and sausage. The staff was very nice and helpful. My safe did not work. My room was clean but a little dusty. since overall the experience was good, I will give it 3.7

We had a pretty good stay. Close to the walking trails and to Niagara falls. Place itself was clean and well kept. Snacks available, Breakfast was good. Parking lot is bright & have six EV chargers on site . Small workout room. Pool was in good shape (70degrees tho). The walls are little on thin side, people above us sounded like elephants at night and especially in the morning (others said same). Prices were mismarked on vending machines ($4 drinks).

A very good stay for cheap. However, I did have some issues. First, the door to our room would not close, and so when we went out of the room it would just be left unlocked. Cleanliness was verging unacceptable but in practice it was just aesthetically unpleasing (stains on sheets, dresser, curtains, etc.) You can’t beat the price though - and that’s why I don’t think these things are unforgivable. Also has great proximity to the falls.

I would definitely avoid this hotel at all costs..lady at front desk was nice enough but it was downhill after that. The air vent in the bathroom had no cover and had what looked like YEARS of dust on it, really disgusting! The room had a weird smell ..the safe did not work. The rooms are not the least bit sound proof and you can hear everything going on. All that was somewhat tolerable. After checking out I noticed itchy welts all over my arms, legs, face and neck..guess what? BED BUGS! Which was confirmed when I went to urgent care! When I called the hotel to let them know, the manager did not seem the least bit surprised and immediately offered to refund me 1 night (I was there 2) of course after reading some reviews I realized they are fully aware of this problem for months and still let people stay in these rooms.. The breakfast that was included was not very good and hardly any selection..coffee was awful and I could not find and salt and pepper so I asked the attendant who was extremely rude and not helpful at all!! It’s also somewhat of a walk to the falls.. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!

The hotel network is not bad, but this one was so-so. One shampoo for three people, a modest breakfast, dirty curtains - small things, but they cause discomfort. The day before we got caught in a snow storm during long drive and planned to stay at the hotel all day. We woke up early in the morning from the cold because the heater stopped working, Which I immediately reported to the reception. After 3 hours we went for a walk, returned after another 3, and the guy in the room was trying to adjust the heat and nothing worked. He left and said that he would inform the reception. There was no feedback for half an hour. I'm calling myself. And there lady answered that they are doing everything possible to resolve the issue. I wonder why I should delve into their questions if I came to them to rest and relax, and not sit in my coat on my suitcases, waiting for our fate to be decided. To which she began to interrupt me and raise her voice. What was that all about? Having told me to give them a couple of minutes, she hung up, before suggesting that we could go down to the hall to warm up there. Usually everything is resolved within 10 minutes by changing the room, I still don’t understand what the problem was. I wrote to the support of the hotel network and the website where I booked. I had to go to the reception myself after another half hour to find out that our issue was not being resolved at all and to demand a room change. As a result, it took the administration almost 8 (!) hours to replace a room with a non-working heater in the winter cold. Good room, great location and very poor management and service!

Our stay at Wingate by Wyndham Niagara Falls was a delightful experience that exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a memorable visit to the breathtaking Niagara Falls. The hotel's location is superb, just a short drive from the falls, making it a convenient and comfortable base for exploring this natural wonder. The lobby's modern design and friendly staff created an inviting first impression, and the check-in process was seamless. Our room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and provided a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep, and the thoughtful amenities, including a mini-fridge and microwave, added to the convenience of our stay. The attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and comfort did not go unnoticed, contributing to an overall sense of relaxation. One of the standout features of Wingate by Wyndham Niagara Falls is the complimentary hot breakfast. The diverse selection of fresh and tasty options catered to different preferences, setting a positive tone for each day of our stay. The breakfast area was spacious and well-organized, and the attentive staff kept everything well-stocked. The hotel's indoor pool and fitness center were additional perks that we enjoyed during our downtime. The pool area was clean, and the water temperature was just right for a refreshing swim. The staff at Wingate by Wyndham Niagara Falls were exceptional, providing friendly and attentive service throughout our stay. From offering recommendations for local attractions to promptly addressing any inquiries, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident. In conclusion, Wingate by Wyndham Niagara Falls offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Whether you're visiting for the falls or other attractions in the area, this hotel provides a welcoming haven that enhances the overall experience of exploring one of nature's wonders. Highly recommended for a memorable and enjoyable stay in Niagara Falls.

Our hotel stay was HORRIBLE.Stay away from this hotel. The rates are not cheap, however the hotel itself is worse than a motel. Positives: Check in process was good. Location wise this hotel is very close to the falls. It has its own parking lot with cameras all over, hence car safety concerns were minimum. Negatives: We checked it late on March 17th and the first room that we were given was completely open and we weren’t sure if this was even cleaned/ sanitized. Hence we we requested for a different room. After getting a different room, we realized that the sink was clogged and hence couldn’t even brush our teeth. We were so tired so we decided not to change room immediately but the next morning we called the front desk and requested for a room change to which they responded by saying that they will be sending someone to fix it. The front desk people aren’t they most friendly people around. The clogging of sink was resolved temporarily, however in the evening we found out that the bath tub was clogged too and that’s when we asked for refund of the remaining nights. The room was smelling due to the plumbing issues. We eventually moved to the Double tree hotel by Hilton which is couple of minutes away. They should have given us refund for the second and third night but they are fighting with us that they will only give us third night in refund. We had an horrible experience during our second night and we should be getting full two night refund.

Good location with an easy walk to the falls. We could not get the door to the adjoining room to lock, so they moved us with no issue. We meant to get out and watch the fireworks, but was too tired. As we talked to another couple at breakfast they told us they were able to see the fireworks from their room! The hotel was quite busy, but it was quiet in our room and staff kept breakfast stocked. Breakfast runs until 1000 every day, instead of 0900 like a lot of hotels!

Claimed to be enforcing covid precautions, but we encountered several maskless guests. I suppose this reflects more on the guests than the hotel. Employees can't be everywhere. Rooms and halls were not carpeted, which made them noisy. You could hear every step people took, and the floors were chilly. Beds were not very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast would have been very nice had it not been an open buffet during a pandemic surge. Lots of hot food options. NOT a casino hotel, as was advertised to us. (Again, 3rd party fault, not the hotel's) Still a reasonable budget option for those like us looking to travel on the cheap.

We booked the rooms for two nights. Can't complain much. What you pay is what you get. It's much cheaper compared to other hotels nearby. The location is wonderful. Walking distance from the falls and restaurants. The rooms need to be cleaned up properly, there were stains on the curtains and stuff on the lamp shades. Beds were comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Supplies were short but the front desk solved it and they gave extra. Breakfast was complimentary and it was not bad. Just the regular breakfast items. Overall, the experience was not bad but a little more clean up and maintenance required.

For a larger family I really enjoyed the layout of the family suite and the fact that the hotel offered a family suite. We stayed 2 nights and while most hotels would come replenish the rooms with towels and toilet paper this one did not. I love that the hotels are providing Dove shampoo conditioner and body wash but unfortunately our containers were not filled enough for the pumps to suck up the product for use and I didn't want to be annoying by asking for me because I had to ask for additional towels not only for my room but because the towel shelf was empty at the pool too. As far as location goes we were able to walk to Niagara Falls state park and felt safe doing so. Unfortunately the area is run down and houses nearby seem to be in despair which I feel brings down the properties location. Breakfast was included and good.

Not even sure where to begin. I'll try to keep it short. I booked this hotel about a month before my stay. I called the property and asked questions about additional fees and parking charges which I was told if I book directly through their website I'd get free parking and a room upgrade. That was not true. I was charged almost $100 more than my online price which was about $75 more than a third party website to begin with. After check in we noticed our toilet in our room had toilet paper in it. I tried to flush it down and it nearly overflowed. Clearly it was never cleaned since the previous stay. It took 5 calls and visits over 7 hours to get it fixed. Many broken things in the hotel like our closet door knob missing, side entrance and pool card readers not working/ door handle broken (safety!), stains, tears on items, pool towels not available (dirty bin was full), door closer on pool bathroom door not functioning/broken, multiple ice machine's and vending machines not working, etc. The staff serving breakfast was always behind and there was not much available. This is considered a 3 star hotel but only the price is on par with that. I've stayed at 1 star hotels that were 1/10th the price and better quality.

Location is about a 15 min walk from the falls and there are no local shops or amenities close by and therefore had to spend a fortune in the hotel commissary. The room itself was clean and modern and very large with plenty of However, I did see a foot print on the ceiling (!) which was concerning and the bathroom sink did not drain very well. The breakfast was basic but included in the room rate so can’t complain. It was well stocked. Good for a 1-2 night stay.

Pretty decent hotel. Within walking distance of the falls. Not a fan of paying $10 day to park, was not told this when I booked it, so be aware of this fee on top of what you pay per night. The room we had was nice, very well kept. They could have had a towel rack on the wall for when the towels are wet to hang on, versus putting on the shower glass. but the front desk was friendly. The coffee was bad in the breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was good. The hotel was actually pretty nice. We will stay there again when we go back. We both liked it. Bed was comfy. Wish the parking lot could have had access to the side that our room was on but that was something that was not the hotels fault, the way the hotel is on that corner,. couldn't be avoided but it was ok. I did request to be on the 1st floor didn't get that. But did get the type of room I wanted.

The hotel is fine, the price is good too but always a but right.. anyways the bathroom is not that clean. The pool is nice and the staff pretty cool... the breakfast was really good we had a good time!

They charged us for 10 dollar parking fee. Front desk said it was based on our stay? We only stayed one night. How many nights you need to stay to earn free parking? Our room was not cleaned. Bathroom mirror was all smudged, mold in the shower and all we heard was noise coming from room above us. They said they pool was closed at 11pm, yet a big group of people was swimming past 1am... not staying here again

Rooms do not feel clean but front desk did offer to solve issue. The service was great as well as the location for Niagara falls. However upkeep of the facility has not been maintained. Despite a modern design the hotel does not appear to be taken care of.

The hotel is alright. Rooms were just barely clean though. Overall, the HDTV was great, AC was good and rooms had microwaves which is great, especially if travelling with kids. I found it alright for families, however, soundproofing is not good. You easily hear people talking outside of rooms, especially at night and can be a pain.

Great hotel. Clean and nice. Super busy. Has a pool and okay breakfast. Nothing too special but the girls kept up with it. Scrambled eggs, yogurt, toast, cereal, coffee. Great rooms. Looks renovated.
