We got here at night, instructions were clear regarding house rules. We were impressed by how clean the place was! Especially the sheets! Bathroom was shared and there was no AC. I'm so glad I found this hostel/guesthouse. I try my best to find hostels wherever I go, and Niagara Falls is no different. It's in a perfect location - not far from Amtrak, nor from the touristy area. Full kitchen is available, rooms are shared, there are private ones available. I met one of the staff who was nice and made coffee for me. There is a market nearby. As with all cities, there are some rough parts but as long as you aware of your surroundings, you'll be fine. Excellent place!

Very friendly people. Location is pretty good if you don’t mind a short walk. Street was quiet. House was clean but fairly old. A few run down houses in the neighborhood as well but not as bad as some other areas in Niagara. Never booked a hostel and still not sure why I did 😁. Anyway if you need to save a buck this might be your place.

The hostel is a vintage house with four private rooms up in the second floor. Clean and neat through out the whole place. Convenient location and close to Amtrak station, bus station and falls (all within less than 20 minutes walking distance). There are paved trails on the riverside connect the hostel to all those locations. The supermarket, Tops is less than 10 minutes walking distance away. Canada isn't too far away by walking distance either. There is a pedestrian passage on the Rainbow Bridge. It's a pleasure to meet the owner, Carroll in person and chatted a little by chance. In here, also has the pleasure to meet and chat with Tom from Poland, Christine from Germany and Olivia from Denmark.

Guys here are really welcoming and the place is very much accessible by bus 40A, just get off at the corner of Spruce Ave. Rooms, kitchenette and everything is clean. Beds are really comfortable then what I've experienced in other hostels. And most of all you get to meet people from around the world.

This was my first visit to USA and I generally don't give reviews. But the experience I got in this place was so welcoming and pleasant that I had to share my feelings. It was like a gateway for a whole new experience and culture for me and it couldn't have got better than this. It's a old house with lot of instructions and a host cannot get clearer than this about things. Very professional and personal at same time. I loved the concept of shared kitchen and shared common spaces. Sharing bathrooms were bit challenging since I was with family and a kid, but no big deal for couple of days. They have policy of no children under 5 which is not mentioned on most booking websites and one has to be beware of this! Overall I'll recommend this stay to anyone who wants to experience local culture and stay. Staying here is anyday better than staying in big expensive fancy hotels. Just try to do direct booking with the host instead of third party applications. :)

I absolutely loved staying at Wanderfalls. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The house is extremely clean and very pretty (if you're into vintage houses)! Beds were comfortable with clean sheets, pillow and blanket provided. Kitchen is fully equipped and there's a Tops market nearby for groceries. Free tea throughout the day and coffee and pancakes in the morning! Although there's only 2 bathrooms, I didn't have a problem with sharing since everyone has different schedules. Hot water was available every time. The Falls state park (aquarium and view!) starts literally within a 5 minute walk from the hostel. The hosts will explain the shortest walking routes etc when you check in. There's an electronic keypad on the door so no key worries. Lockers inside the bedroom closet have ample space, just carry a lock with you! I met some amazing people at the house from all over the world. I'd highly recommend staying at Wanderfalls if you're visiting Niagara. In fact, I'm planning to visit again just to stay at the house, relax and work in the quiet when school gets too tough!

Clean and homey hostel in an old house, feels like staying with grands. Kitchen is very well equipped and has a lovely sunny backyard. Friendly owners/worker who provided superb information. A wonderful stay. Note that it’s not super near to the falls, but we appreciate the quiet and are happy to be away from the chaos. The free shuttle bus stops nearby their place, so not a huge problem in terms of moving around. They have two washroom but one is at the basement. A bit of a wait in the morning. Rooms are all upstairs. Not good for people with knee problem.

This is a very quaint place. Checking in is super easy. You have a code to get in, an instruction manual at your bedside, and everything is in place. The bed was very comfortable, bedding was nice, there was a small fan on the chair that actually worked well for the size! We didn't use the common area or the kitchen, got there at 10pm'ish, so just there to sleep and shower really, but having it available is nice. It suited our needs well!

I spent one night here while solo traveling. I wanted a cheap, simple place to come back and sleep after a long day of sightseeing, and Wanderfalls was perfect. Overall, it was clean, safe, and comfortable, with a number of other interesting and friendly guests from various countries. No one was on time to even check us in.(even if we wanted to stay which we didn't) We could not get a hold of anyone on the phone number provided either. Not a very nice area. Being cased as you pull up by neighbors, doesn't inspire confidence that your car or belongings will be safe..Big mistake booking this place. As far as im concern its false advertisement. We stayed at this guesthouse for one night in March. The owners were very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information about the Falls. We had a private room, which was very comfortable. The pancakes for breakfast were freshly made and tasted delicious. We had a car, so we didnt have to walk, I guess it would have been a 20minutes walk to the Falls. Terry gave us a detailed intro into the Falls area, we met some lovely guests during our stay..they have an option of private or shared rooms, we opted for the private room which was as good as it could get The restrooms were clean at all times.
