I
visit
Niagara
Falls
often
and
I
usually
stay
at
other
hotels
such
as
Embassy
or
Wyndham
Fallsview
as
they
are
near
the
Fall
and
casino.
I
decided
to
give
this
Hilton
location
a
try
as
I
have
great
experiences
with
Hilton
in
other
cities
and
I've
heard
great
things
about
their
family
pools.
Well,
the
pools
were
indeed
great
but
everything
else
about
this
hotel
made
me
regret
booking
here.
1)
Room
temperature
-
I
stayed
at
the
Mid
Tower
and
as
I
was
picking
up
the
key,
the
front
desk
staff
advised
me
that
since
the
heating
system
is
centralized,
if
it
gets
too
hot,
I
should
turn
off
the
thermostat.
This
is
the
first
time
I've
been
"warned"
by
a
hotel
about
their
heating
system,
and
that
the
solution
was
to
turn
it
off.
Well,
they
weren't
wrong,
the
room
was
indeed
overheated
and
even
after
turning
the
thermostat
off,
it
still
felt
humid.
My
family
was
sleeping
in
sweat.
I
asked
the
front
desk
if
there's
a
solution
or
a
stationary
fan
I
could
borrow.
Unfortunately,
fans
are
not
available
in
this
location
and
the
only
solution
to
the
humidity
is
to
open
the
window
vent
to
let
cool
air
in.
I
didn't
think
that
would
be
a
good
idea
to
leave
the
heat
off
and
let
the
cold
air
in
throughout
the
night,
while
we
are
in
sweat.
Ended
up
just
sleeping
through
the
humidity.
2)
Front
Desk
Services
-
When
I
booked
via
the
Hilton
website,
there
was
a
promotion
for
breakfast
to
be
included
with
the
booking.
I
completed
the
booking
via
Hilton
but
only
to
find
out
at
check
in
that
the
promo
code
was
not
applied.
I
explained
the
situation,
even
showed
them
the
promo
link
I
went
with.
Their
response
is
that
"sorry
it
is
not
on
your
reservation,
nothing
I
can
do
about
it."
After
I
checked
in,
I
contacted
the
customer
service
online
but
unfortunately,
they
cannot
do
anything
about
it
since
I
already
checked
in,
they
cannot
modify
the
booking.
They
recommended
me
to
speak
with
the
front
desk.
Well,
of
course
I
received
the
same
response
from
the
front
desk.
I
am
not
sure
if
it
is
the
level
of
staff
experience
of
this
location
or
a
very
strict
protocol
when
it
comes
to
customer
service.
I
can
expect
this
type
of
service
from
a
low-end
hotel,
but
never
from
a
prestigious
brand
such
as
Hilton.
Clearly
there
was
an
issue
with
the
online
booking
system
and
they
could've
simply
offer
a
complimentary
breakfast
as
a
courtesy
gesture.
They
did
not
even
bother
to
further
investigate,
simply
saying
it
is
not
on
the
booking,
too
bad.
Aside
from
these
two
issues,
the
location
is
convenient
as
there
are
two
sky
bridges
that
takes
you
to
the
Fallsview
Casino
(shared
with
Wyndham
Fallsview).
The
OLG
Stage
is
also
connected
to
the
hotel,
convenient
to
those
that
are
attending
for
a
concert
/
performance.
However,
based
on
my
experience,
I'll
need
to
strongly
reconsider
before
booking
with
this
Hilton
hotel
again.
Embassy
and
Wyndham
may
be
a
better
choice
for
this
location.
