The worst hotel I ever stayed at!! I have worked in the hospitality business for over 21 years & this place was disgusting, hallways stank of wet dog & throw up. The lobby floors filthy & you could tell breakfast area had not been cleaned (we checked in around 4pm) Our bathroom was not clean, hairs & used conditioner bottle in tub, holes where toilet paper roll used to be. We stayed in 214. Beds were partially made. At least sheets looked clean. The only good thing I could say about this place was that the night time clerk, Patrick, was trying his best. After we came down to go have dinner, he was out mopping the floors. After we came back we asked him for sheets for the pull out sofa & gave us some without hassle. My mom is a non stop coffee drinker & he made some. Was very courteous. But I will never ever stay there again & I would definitely not recommend this place!!!!!

First impression they have a nice lobby and the rooms were as expected. We arrived Tuesday and leave tomorrow Saturday. I've noticed the bathrooms are not very clean and Thursday night the toilet stopped flushing, we were given a plunger because maintenance does not arrive until later... Friday at 11am now and still not fixed so we have to go to the lobby to use the bathroom. Pool ladder is broken so it is not open, hasn't been open the whole time. Staff is very limited and most are rude. Grounds has garbage everywhere. Ice machine doesn't work. Also worst part is the AC does not work and it's been 80 in the room the whole time. On a positive note the breakfast is good and the woman in the kitchen is very nice every morning. They are stingy with giving towels and garbage bags. Not a pleasant stay.

There was a lot of things wrong with this stay but the staff was friendly and somewhat accommodating. It seemed as if they were under staffed. I have to start by saying when I initially booked the room back in March it was for myself and nonrefundable. Along the way my sister and niece joined me. So when we arrived on Jully 20, 2022. They were accommodating and let us have a double room. The check in process was fairly easy. On our way to the room the elevator floor was muddy and the rugs were stained. When we got to our room there was hair on the beds and it look like there was pizza stains on the bedding. It was also all over the walls and even on one of the lamp shades. (I have pictures) when we went down to show the pictures they were happy to give us another room. When we got the the second room, it was better but we found food under the pull out bed and my sister had to clean the bathroom herself and the tub wouldn't drain. They did come and fix it but it took a little while because it was the same person from the front desk. Also the ice machine on our floor was broke and we had to go to another floor to get ice. I have a small suggestion, I do like that the hotel is dog friendly but I feel the dog friendly rooms should be on a separate floor because if the rooms are not cleaned properly and some is allergic to dog hair there will be some issues. Need better breakfast choices Other than that they stay went smoothly.

We showed up for our stay and found out the room we reserved was overbooked, so instead of the king bed we booked we ended up with 2 queen beds. When we arrived in the room there were crumbs all over the table and tv stand. The beds had dirt and stains all over the blankets. There was also a bed bug in the shower. When I told the front desk they didn’t really care and gave us a room with the sofa bed that was broke. They told us they would discount our stay but never did. The person I talked with at checkout said the staff that checked me in didn’t know how to discount so they did not apply the discount.

This La Quinta location is located right in the heart of Niagar Falls NY and is next to a Home Depot and not very far from stores and restaurants. It's a pretty busy area traffic wise so be careful navigating through tourists and other idiots that don't know how to drive or where they're going. When I visited I stayed for 3 days and it was on Memorial day and super crowded and very loud, even late at night. The hotel itself was very clean and well run and the staff at the front desk were really friendly and helpful. There's a pool too but it's pretty small and gets crowded quickly. The breakfast bar and dining room is large and has lots of options for a continental style breakfast. You must buy your own lunch and dinner but there are plenty of restaurants nearby and most of the deliver. They do room service as well but that can get expensive. The only thing I didn't like about this Hotel is that it's 4 floors but only one elevator! It's ridiculous when you have to wait ten minutes just to get up and down from your room. The area outside is pretty shady meaning there's some Crack heads that wander about asking people for money so make sure you lock your doors and keep your head on a swivel. Overall my trip was good and my family and I enjoyed our stay.

Please don’t stay here. Beside the appearance of the hotel (carpet is disgusting and pool need better treatment). It isn’t children friendly at all. Very disappointing! On checkout day my family and I were sitting at the hotel lobby having breakfast, my four year old was having a melt down which Involved loud crying ( please note I said my 4 year old). The hotel Employee that was attending to the breakfast area approached me and my family and told us that we “needed to go outside or back to our rooms because no one wanted to heard that”! I was shocked beyond words! How rude and out of place she was! How do you tell a paying customer to exit a hotel because of a child crying?? We were already trying to calm him down before she approached beside we understand that a child crying can be bothersome, but his a child!!! And that was not the way to handle the situation, if anything she should of asked if there was anything that she could do to help calm my child down, that would have been excelente customer service! I’m so angry and bother by this, please stay elsewhere! Unacceptable!!!

We stayed here when visiting Niagara Falls and booked 2 rooms for the family The stay was quite disappointing Room: beds are comfortable and room is spacious .. could be better stocked.. fridge wasn’t working and took almost half a day to replace … only one packet of coffee in the room .. Service is quite poor.. no one picks up the phone at the front desk so you have to go down for everything. AC didn’t work the first night .. it was 80 degrees in the room the whole time . They did switch our room the next day and told us they knew there was a problem with the AC ..then why give the room to a guest? Room keys stopped working multiple times during our 2 day stay necessitating trips to front desk to reset them.. Front desk staff is unfriendly . When told of any issues the response was “ it’s not my fault , speak with the manager” . Of course the manager was not on site and did not call us despite multiple requests . Breakfast is basic. Pool is nice but the spa is not open

It's alright. Didn't seem that clean. Bathroom was the saddest. The toilet paper quality and quantity sucked too. Would not want to go here again. Although the free breakfast was nice and breakfast staff pretty sweet.

When we first walked into the hotel, there was this putrid, most disgusting chlorine smell that spread throughout the entire first floor, including the dining area. When we arrived to our room there were multiple stains on the carpet and couch. The paintings were also poorly placed and ugly. There were scuff marks and holes in the walls also. The beds were fine, no weird smells, stains, or bugs. When I went into the shower, I had to clean out someone else’s hairs out of the shower drain. The walls were very thin and I could hear the children above me screaming in their room at night. Also, the TV remote did not work. The worse problem was the smell from the first floor, I had to cover my nose the entire time I was eating. Do not stay here.

I was worried when I booked about some reviews stating the place was dirty. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean our room was. Sheets were clean, towels fresh, nothing to complain about. The staff was friendly! Very pleased with visit. Happy we were able to have our dog with us.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is nothing like the photos you see online. All the pictures are photo shopped. This place is a dump. It is dirty. The rooms are horrible. It is completely beat down. My family member has bed bug bites all over her arm. We had no cleaning service the whole stay. We didn't even have towels in our room when we arrived. There is only one elevator and our floor the ice machine didn't work. Had to go to another floor for ice. The pool is not what it looks like either. This place is a total fabrication from what you see versus what you actually get. Even though the staff is nice it doesn't make up for the disgusting surroundings

Room was clean and hotel was nice. However, the staff and the free breakfast was awful. Staff at the breakfast area was rude, and yelled at guests children several time one morning. Additionally, breakfast ends at 9am they say. We went at 8:15 and they were out of everything! There was 1 yogurt, no yogurt left, no sausage. They emptied the waffle batter so you couldn't make a waffle. No butter or jelly left for the toast. No cream or milk left to even have coffee!! And they wouldn't fill anything anymore! Rip off.

This hotel is not well staffed, I only saw two people during my stay. I stayed here Three days with my family. During our stay the hot water broke EVERY single day in the morning. The “breakfast” run out very fast and was not refill on time or not refill at all. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. Do not book this place!

This was a great stay for the most part. Pros: Very quiet. Within 15 minutes drive of the falls. Dog friendly. Great breakfast. Cons: I had two rooms. One was dirty upon arrival. The front desk agent gave us a bit of attitude when informing her the room was still dirty. The blow dryer didn't work in one of the rooms.

We’ve stayed here several times with our dog and love it! Rooms have always been clean, quiet, the service very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was excellent. Great value for the money. Close to Target, TJ Maxx, Tops, fashion outlets. Microwave and frig in room and two tv’s!

The rooms are pretty clean. The service is pretty bad. I think they might be understaffed. The rooms are not cleaned regularly. When I called the front desk to ask for clean towels and toilet paper they sent me out to go find some. A lot of the staff is not friendly. They only have a single elevator and it is very slow. During the mornings you will be waiting quite a long time because of the amount of people trying to get on. Breakfast can be hectic with the amount of people as well. There is not a lot of room to sit. The pool is small and only goes to 5 feet in depth. There were also no towels when we went down and again I had to go find some. The room beds are fine. It is nice that every room has a sofa bed. Over all I would not stay here again. If you are able to afford a better option I would definitely recommend going somewhere else.

When we booked our hotel we couldn't wait to go on vacation. Boy did we make a big mistake! The hotel was dirty, unorganized and understaffed. By understaffed I mean they had one person doing everything. The room was not what we expected. The carpets were filthy. No housekeeping unless you asked. The elevator was wet when we left the hotel in the morning and wet when we got back in the evening. From what we could see the one person they had on duty was doing check in and check out and putting everything out for breakfast and doing wash at the same time. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. We want our Wyndham points back but I'm sure that won't happen.

This is what I would call a dump. We were there two days and never once did we see housekeeping in the hallways. This place was busy with customers coming and going, but no sign of housekeeping. They never cleaned our room or gave us new towels. We had to go to the front desk to ask for more. The floor had trash on it when we got there. The worst part is our bed linens were dirty upon our arrival. We drove 15 hours and had to change our own linens before we could settle in. Dirty/stained linens and hair all over the sheets and pillows. When we took off the fitted sheet, there was a huge pee stain on the mattress cover. So nasty. In total, it took over an hour to get the room straight before we could sit down. It took two days to get feedback from the manager (who we kept hearing didn’t come in until after 3). She took 15% off our first night only. Totally annoying considering we felt dirty the entire time we were there. Also, the pool closes at 8pm. That’s crazy early for the middle of summer and there is no reason it couldn’t be open longer.

    - Stayed in a 2 queen beds on the second floor. - Clogged shower drainage. - Smelly rooms and walkway areas. - Small bathroom size.

Understaffed, dirty rooms, room reservation was wrong even though it was called many times and confirmed. Front desk non existent. Had to call and wait for someone to show up. Main floor smells like chlorine from the pool, had to skip breakfast both days from the overpowering smell. Walls are paper thin, this whole place needs good clean up. The only lights in the rooms are from the 3 lamps provided. Most likely to hide how nasty the rooms actually are. You get what you pay for, wouldn't recommend at all.

It was the staff for me! So polite, I was traveling with my daughter and my niece, two rambunctious 3 year olds who had been in the car for 8 hours and were all wired and every member of staff made sure to greet them and talk with them and be silly with them. If you’re traveling with young kids I highly recommend this place the staff is really amazing with the littles! As a mom on a road trip I’m used to getting dirty looks when I walk in a hotel with screaming toddlers, not the case here I felt like my kiddos were totally welcomed tantrums and all!! Amazing job guys!

Rooms are nice and clean and. spacious, bathroom tub found alot of hair on the shower walls, so they could do better. Service still seems like they are kinda stuck in pandemic state. Breakfast was good, good variety. Location, close to everything you want but the area is a little rundown and sketchy. Still a good place at descent prices on booking, travelocity and sites like that.

  • 1/5 Lara S. 1 year ago on Google
Awful. The microwave did not work, even after we informed the clerk of this issue. I called a fourth time and the guy clerk got really nasty and yelled at me over the phone and then hung up. We still do not have a microwave. Even after I specifically told him that I need the microwave for my daughter. The room was dirty and they told me that they do not have housekeeping. The didn’t bring towels after repeatedly asking for them. The closet door did not work so there was no closet space to put our stuff. Awful stay and awful customer service. Spend your money elsewhere!

  • 2/5 Cassidy M. 1 year ago on Google
Room was clean, breakfast was good. My only complaints are that we asked to have the room cleaned and new towels. We left a tip on the counter and someone came up took the money left towels but no wash cloths and the beds weren’t made, and dirty towels were still in room. Just not a good look for hospitality to come up and take money and not do their job.

I am staying for work. The owner has been very accommodating in agreeing to a reasonable weekly rate during my stay. The hotel team is very thoughtful and hearty. The location is very close to stores/restaurants. Pet friendly. The movie theatre is a one-minute walk. The rooms are very spacious. The refrigerators are big, 33"x20", much larger than a typical mini refrigerator. It is an excellent addition for longer-term stays. Only walk-in showers, no bathtubs. This location was recently renovated with an all-new carpet.

Locations great, staff were great as well. Room floors were less than awesome but that's the price you pay when you travel with pets. There is a family dollar nearby so we left the carpet cleaner than we found it. Your welcome. Lol loved the waffle maker at breakfast made my day!

La Quinta is one of the hotels we frequent the most. We always travel with our dogs and they are a dog friendly hotel. Rooms are clean big and they also serve continental breakfast in the morning. They are always located in good spots that have other businesses around them. You can't beat their prices as well

This wasn't a bad place to stay but it does need a bit more upkeep in the rooms, there are no suites at this hotel my Aunt thought she booked one but we got a regular room, she asked about it and they said they'll switch us into a suite the next day and when we got there it was the same regular two room with a pullout couch just bigger like a handicap room. The elevator was almost always packed. But other than that the front desk people were nice they have a snack bar to buy from that has a pretty good selection and breakfast was good. The pool is nice too.

  • 2/5 Chooch 1 year ago on Google
Room was dirty, comforter and carpet and walls were stained. A/c filters and bathroom exhaust fan were filthy. Breakfast was free but I wouldn't have fed that to my dogs. For what they charged me that room should have been immaculate. Wouldn't go back. Service was fine though. Just the room and breakfast was gross 🤢.

  • 4/5 R F. 1 year ago on Google
My prior experiences with other LaQuinta's was not good. Was only in town for one night and was able to get a great rate, so I figured I would roll the dice. First floor smelled odd at check in but that went away, I think it was related to the indoor pool. I was pleasantly suprised at the room. I was much nicer than expected. I will stay again, which I am surprised to be saying.

Hotel exterior is great, inside alot of renovations and newly painted walls. Pool was cold not heated pool. Room was good. Fridge microwave and coffee maker. BathTowels had hairs 😬 and bathroom floor. There's a smart TV but no REMOTE. asked front desk for a remote, called twice but no remote came. I got it working by using an app on my phone. Breakfast is great. Overall for a 2 start hotel, not baaad at all.

First of all, the website listed a jacuzzi in their pictures. NO JACUZZI!!! PLEASE remove that picture from your website. That is called FALSE ADVERTISING! The room was just ok. There were no sheets or pillows for the fold-out couch. Coffee packs for the in room coffee maker DID NOT FIT, they were TOO large!!! Room key cards did NOT work after 5 uses!!! TV went dead half way through our stay and NO ONE fixed the problem!! The Indian manager just walked around with his phone glued to his ear!! Wouldn't even acknowledge people at the front desk!! Just pointed to some other employee. On the positive side...Desmond, the night clerk, was FANTASTIC, FRIENDLY and a pleasure to talk to and work with!!! He needs a RAISE, as far as I am concerned!! Also, Laura, the coffee goddess, was also VERY FRIENDLY and helpful. She made my mornings!!! Desmond and Laura made the stay SO MUCH BETTER!! They both deserve raises!!!!!! Everyone else needs to be RETRAINED in CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO MY WORST ENEMY!!

We recently stayed at this hotel for Labor Day Weekend (September 3-6,21). Totally disappointed!! the Filthiest hotel I ever stayed at! NOT WORTH THE $280.00 dollars we paid per night. A small resume: The beds were never changed, the bathroom fan needed to be dust, and the carpets all over the hotel were disgusting (I don't think they have washed them in a long time). The housekeeper only took the garbage on the first day. On the second night a housekeeper came in and asked me if I needed anything, she took the garbage out and gave me a new set of towels but that was it.. I have stayed in the room with my son cause he was sick and she was nice enough to go and get me some Lysol. Too bad I didn't catch her name. The BREAKFAST!!!! DO NOT EXPECT A LOT FROM THE BREAKFAST!! the lady and the gentleman in the cafeteria are really nice, they do what they can but, they are totally overworked!! They do deserve a raise. BUT again, breakfast WAS THE SAME EVERY SINGLE DAY!! NO CHANGES!! (eggs, sausage links, bread, waffles, yogurt, cereal, fruits and drinks) THE SAME!! when I have asked the lady if they served anything else, she said no. But they do have a pool and a gym. However, I didn't use the pool but, you can smell the Clorox from the hallway. They are short staff. So the same gentleman that works in the kitchen, was helping out yesterday at the front desk. I didn't see a front desk lady or a Manager at the time of checking out (Around 8:30 AM)And to top it off, I woke yesterday, Monday with bedbug bites on my hands. At the time of checking out, I showed the bites to the gentleman, he said sorry and he said that he will make a note of it. I wish I could have spoken to a Manager but, we needed to leave. Bottom line, Friendly staff but I wont' stay at this hotel again.
