Well, pros and cons. The room was nice. The breakfast was good, loved the steam shower. The front desk staff was nice, but I wouldn’t say they went out of their way. I was quoted a different price than I was charged, and even worse, before I got there they charged my credit card 300$ more than what I was quoted. So that needed to be sorted out. Massage was great, highly recommend. We also got the package with the dinner which wasn’t so great. The waitress was friendly but my partners meal had to be sent back twice. They advised us they would credit our dinner back to our room as an apology (which we didn’t ask for) and we felt bad so we tipped extra. However the dinner was not credited back. We were in a rush leaving so we didn’t bother, but if we went back we would definitely skip the dinner and require the total including all taxes and fees in writing first.

Excellent experience, I got the best room in the house, very friendly service at the front desk as well as from the cleaning staff. Cleaning staff. The room was excellent, very clean and very premium. The only negative thing was the bed which unfortunately is quite dated and sunk in and it literally has the imprint of a human being on both sides of the bed, please see attached picture. Hence the four star rating and not five. Other than that everything was good, will definitely stay there again as long as they change out their mattresses.

The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Every staff that we had a interaction with was wonderful and pleasant. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The general manager Deanna was a great help to making our stay beautiful. It was a great getaway for me and my partner. THANK YOU EVERYONE AT STERLING INN! Highly recommend!

Hello there. In a word, “Fantastic!” That is how we would rate “Sterling Inn.” From the moment we walked into our suite we were made to feel very welcome by the personal touches throughout. Plus, the guests around us were equally pleasant. The natural gas fire-place greatly added to the already secure and cosy atmosphere. Furthermore, we were a “stone’s throw away” from the fun and action. Best of all, the “Sterling” Inn and Spa is run very professionally and looked after our personal needs most readily. Thank you Debbie and cheerful Crew! 💐 You have succeeded in providing a most peaceful and comfortable place for us for our few days in the lovely Niagara region. 🌊 🌲 Look forward to seeing you again! cordially, Xiaojing and Michael from Australia. P.S. looking forward to returning back home to Canada one day soon. Such clean air. 🌲🌲

The service was great here. Greg was the person at the front desk at the time. He provided information on the services and accommodations that were available. I had no issues getting into my room. Greg was able to upgrade the room with a bathtub so I was able to enjoy my experience even more. Even though the stay was short I was able to relax and be able to explore the Falls and Clifton Hill area within a walkable distance.

Booked a room with king size bet with jacuzzi and steam shower for my Hubby's birthday. It was a really nice room! I really wished I could give 5 stars but the room wasn't as clean as I would have liked. There was a lot of spots on the wall in the toilet closet, the kitchen cupboard area had something spilled down the side, as well as the dresser and wall. I brought Lysol wipes thankfully and wiped up most of the mess. The room is showing it's age...especially the mattress and pillows. they were flat and worn out. Aside from that the staff were super friendly, the breakfast that was included was FANTASTIC! Fresh croissants, a beautifully crunchy apple, and orange, fresh yogurt, with in house made granola, orange juice, fresh jam, quiche that was velvety deliciousness, and the BEST coffee I have ever had! (Coffee was French pressed) For the most part it was quiet except when people got ice as it was right beside my room. I would definitely recommend staying here and I will stay again!

This place was beautiful. Each room is different from the other. The rooms were very spacious. The breakfast was on point. Had orange juice, croissants. Fruit bowl, yougurt parfait, and quiche. The steam shower was terrifyingly amazing. They provided a lavender puck to add aroma to the experience. It was very relaxing. They didn't have a pool on-site but you could go to the days inn down the street to use theirs. The staff were so friendly. A close walk to Clifton hill. I would stay here again.

Stayed for the weekend of April 23 and 24, 2022. The place is amazing. It is perfectly situated in Niagara Falls, not too far from the action. Our room had a heart shaped jacuzzi with the softest bed and pillows and breakfast delivered to your room the next morning. I want to thank my children for the wonderful Christmas present. Being a travel agent with Robert Q Travel, this is definitely the hotel I will be recommending to all my customers. Thank you Sterling Inn and Spa.

This place is so cute! It's a smaller boutique hotel. I really liked our room. It had a nice seating area, a fireplace, a mini kitchen with a fridge, and it was spacious. I really liked the vibe of the entire place. The restaurant, AG is farm to table and is delicious. We enjoyed the beef tenderloins and spicy margaritas. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is a free breakfast, you pick what you like from a limited menu and hang a sign on your door at night, and they deliver the next morning at your selected time. The crossiants were very good. There is on-site parking, and you can walk to the Niagara Falls and the Clifton Hills, which we did many times. There are also many local wineries to visit (you'll need a car). One thing I didn't like was that the bathroom door had frosted panels and if your partner gets up to use the bathroom, it will wake you up for sure as you will have light in your face due to the bed being by the bathroom. Everything else was great, so I didn't drop my rating, but it really should be addressed. A solid door would easily solve the problem.

Nice place and great service. Would be great if they had a dine in restaurant for b/fast and a bar to have a few drinks. Biggest complaint is the bed. Hard as a rock and extremely uncomfortable. For this reason unfortunately, will not be back.

Booked 5 of us Ladies for a 2 night midweek getaway late September 2023, and we were all extremely happy with the accommodations, breakfast delivered to our room, dinner at AG Inspired Cuisine, and the location of the Inn...it was perfect in every way!! We each had our own room and every room was different, very spacious, beds and pillows so comfy!! Thank you to Debbie for helping us with our booking and making sure our stay was perfect!! Highly recommended!!

Amazing place that is SO close to everything Niagara Falls, ON has to offer. Very very quiet rooms, with a beautiful atmosphere in the suite we had. The AG restaurant on the Lower Level was lovely, with delicious offerings for a 3 course meal. Highly recommended to those who want any or all of the above while visiting! I'd give more stars if I could.

Friendly Staff, clean room and bedding. The 4 head Steam shower is EVERYTHING. The fireplace is a wonderful touch especially for the colder/wet season. My spa service was amazing to say the least. Thank you so much Carly.❤️

Decided to try this location after seeing reviews. Couldn't have been happier in location, price, service! When we got there, we went through the AG restaurant entrance and couldn't find the front desk. Lack of signage was a little confusing but we figured it out. Front desk staff was always very friendly and helped with everything we needed promptly. Checking in and out was super easy. The room was a great size and clean. Plenty of close outlets for plugging in all your devices, shelves to put them on, etc. Mini fridge also had a freezer which I hardly ever see. Breakfast was brought to us each morning as part of the room, which I liked. I would definitely stay here again. While it was not close enough to have a view of the falls, it was a block away from all the fun carnival- style area near the Sky Wheel. Great for kids 50 years old and younger! Older than that, you might want to stay in Niagara Lake by the vineyards. Things I didn't like or wasn't happy with/ constructive criticism: I feel there should be a place to eat the breakfast with chairs. There's more than enough space in the room and it would have been nice to have a nook. The breakfast had a type of egg each day and we got hard-boiled two days in a row. I didn't like that but the quiche was very good. The rest of breakfast was very good and I recommend the additional pastries for an extra cost. The bed wasn't very comfortable. It was way too firm for us. I would normally deduct a star for this considering it's a hotel, but everything else was so good I decided not to. The TV had virtually no channels to watch. Everything was cut off and wanted a subscription. Couldn't connect the TV to our personal services either. Some hotels have smart TVs where you can do that and it's just a better experience. I'm not a fan of bathroom switches on the outside of the room. You have to open the door with the light on which disturbed the other person in the room. Not a major issue but it's something hotels should consider. I'll give the restaurant and spa their own reviews but both were really good! Canada has a very rigorous education system for massage and will be better than most other places. The massages were really good! Recommend the longer session! The restaurant was pretty good too. Drinks were great! Apple cider was amazing and also the chocolate martini. Wasn't busy at all but it was the off season. Overall, amazing stay and we had much more fun than we thought we would! Would definitely return! Greg and Fallon were exceptionally friendly!

Incredible!! My husband and I booked here for the first time for our first wedding anniversary, and they went above and beyond. We felt so welcomed the moment we walked through the doors to check in, Greg was incredible and so welcoming to us. Our room was beautiful and so big, the beds are comfy. Our second day we had a couples massage which made our experience even better, Steve and Jen were so professional and my husband has never felt better since his massage! My husband and I have decided to make this our yearly trip for our anniversary. I could go on and on with how incredible this hotel is! Hidden gem in Niagara. Perfect location.

The front desk service was incredible. Check in was informative, check out was quick The location is amazing super close to Clifton hill about a 4-5 min walk to everything. The room was super clean and spacious. The TV had some troubles at first with he signal but we managed to reset it, it has limited channels but we made do with what we had. The rest of the room was amazing EXCEPT the bed. The bed was super firm, sore back and neck after waking up, tossed and turned the whole night as the mattress was super hard to sleep on. The hotel provides free breakfast in bed which was also nice to have. Overall this would be a 5 star hotel if the bed was softer as this is the main part in staying at a hotel.

I really loved this hotel, the room was amazing and the bed was super comfy, I don't think I've ever slept better! I used their spa and got a massage, and it was fantastic! My room had a big jacuzzi tub, and there was a little window u could open to see into your room to see the TV from the tub! I took off a star bc I found the breakfast wasn't that great, they delivered to your door which was nice but it was like a peice fruit a yogurt a juice a croissant a peice of ham and a peice of cheese, not really my style.

Just stayed here for the night with my fiancé. We had a great time and a great experience. It was in walking distance to just about anything, like 10min walk and under! The only things that I have to note are the beds are VERY VERY firm, like laying on a board firm. Also, the views from the hotel are not very good, but that’s not in their control.

recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sterling Inn, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of extraordinary. The highlight of my mornings was undoubtedly the amazing breakfast served right to my bed. The breakfast menu offered a delectable array of options, from freshly baked pastries to savory omelets and everything in between. The presentation was impeccable, and each dish was a work of culinary art. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients showcased the hotel's commitment to providing a top-notch dining experience.

Hidden gem is right! Wonder relaxing visit. Greg at front desk was fantastic, Nicole in the spa was super helpful and went well beyond her job description to help me out. The 2 ladies at AG were also great. It's rare to find such well rounded staff and service, definitely recommend. Thanks for a lovely time, would love to come back.

It is deceiving from the outside and the location seams odd but it’s perfect. The front desk was so pleasant to interact with, easy check in and fast check out. The interior is very modern yet rustic at the same time, it’s clean and inviting. There’s a beautiful restaurant/bar and spa on the lower level with amazing staff. The room we stayed in(201) is stunning!! The big king bed was firm(which I like), comfy and cozy. We had the fireplace going with music on the tv, felt so relaxing. My only 2 gripes would be 1: the $20 per night parking as there is parking in multiple very close locations for $4-$10per night. 2: the pillows, oh man the pillows are not comfortable, they’re thick and stiff. Thank you to all the staff, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying with you again on our next visit to the Falls.

Had a great little weekend away with my finance (asked her at Sterling- they provided roses and candles for the room) room was nice! Steam shower was great! Volume on the TV was maddening as it was set to too low. The breakfast included was decent.....would've been nice to have a selection of what was included but that's just nitpicking. Overall a solid 4.5 out of 5. Would definitely go back!!!

Spent our 18th wedding anniversary at Sterling. Check in was quick and thorough thanks to Greg. We were upgraded to a king jacuzzi room, in a quiet corridor. Huge room, super comfy bed. Jacuzzi tub was heavenly. We were happy with the on site parking (fee) and were able to walk everywhere we needed. Breakfast in bed was so nice. Fresh coffee, OJ, croissants, quiche, yogurt, granola and fresh fruit. We cannot wait to return!

  • 5/5 Sharon F. 3 months ago on Google New
We stayed here for a couple of nights over new years. We had booked a king size standard room and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a 2 room suite. It was perfect and we will definitely be booking this room in the future. This was not our first stay and it won’t be our last. The beds were comfy, the jet tub was awesome, the free flowing coffee and flavoured syrups at reception are an awesome idea and even though they don’t do decaf at reception they gave me lots of extra decaf for the room so I took some of the syrups in a cup and could still have a flavoured decaf. Breakfast is included it is small but tides you over until you go out however the croissants were really good. To summarize, it’s clean, friendly, comfortable and well worth the money

I usually stay at IHG or Hilton brands. I decided to change the pace a bit. After reading great reviews I booked a 1 night stay in Niagara Falls for my quick turnaround. Location was perfect for walking to the local attractions. The entire staff were superb from beginning to end. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I was very pleased to get a jacuzzi upgrade! Breakfast in bed was on time and well needed after a casino & libations night! The front desk went over and beyond to make our short stay memorable! Thank you!

We did good research for accommodation in Niagara Falls before booking and Sterling Inn was well rated and a reasonable price. Little walk to the main area of Niagara Falls. Reception and room were very good. Restaurant unattractive and would have preferred the included breakfast in a seated area vs. our room -- but the quality was good. Overall, a good experience.

  • 5/5 Rachelle E. 4 months ago on Google
The staff here are so friendly and accommodating. The room I ended up staying in was spacious and beautiful. The only thing that sticks is my refrigerator was not working so my food went bad and the outlet at my bedside was not working. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay and enjoyed breakfast in bed. I would definitively come back, especially to try the spa services. The restaurant downstairs had delicious food, just was not expecting the pricy menu!

  • 5/5 Kevin G. 3 months ago on Google New
Nicest hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed all over the world in nice hotels. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Greg at the front desk we knew things would be great. Greg was amazing, friendly and accommodating. The room was enormous, jacuzzi tub where you can watch a 50+ inch tv. Room was immaculately clean. All furniture extremely comfortable. I would give this place 10 if possible

  • 5/5 Trish M. 1 year ago on Google
Top-notch service, large spacious room, and excellent food all at a very reasonable price made this a 5 star stay! We were upgraded to a jacuzzi room and our bed was decorated with petals and towel animals in a lovely and romantic display. Bed was extremely comfortable. Easy walking distance to all restaurants and attractions and the Falls. Only complaint is that the hot water seemed to take a while to reach the second floor so had to run the shower for quite a while before it got hot, but this was a minor inconvenience.

  • 4/5 Meryll G. 2 years ago on Google
The room was amazing!! And the breakfast in bed was a nice touch. However, the management needs to manage their time more efficiently. We had to wait an hour to get our room ready. Also, some of their facilities needed some upgrade. In the room that we got, the fridge had a missing foot...

  • 5/5 Kolin R. 2 years ago on Google
This hotel always has the best rooms. Steam shower is incredible and rooms are always clean and desirable for those looking for Instagram photo quality settings. Highly recommend and the location is perfect, less then 5 minutes from the main strip (which can be noisy and extra busy)

  • 4/5 Amrit M. 2 years ago on Google
The Sterling is always a good getaway for us. The rooms are big, the steam showers are a unique and great touch and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. We tried the spa out this time as well and had a great time. Very relaxing.

I really wanted to rate The Sterling Inn a 5 again as I was here 2 years ago but I am rating it a 3 for the RMT and the food. Best thing about the Inn was the RMT x 3 that gave us a massage. They were all friendly, professional and we all felt relaxed and less sore after. Their 3 course dinner was worth the value we paid with loads of creative food combos that again we all enjoyed. However, the front desk was not friendly. Upon arriving at 3pm(as we had our 4pm massages booked) and I had requested an early check in, she said our room was not ready and she would call us when it was. Half an hour passed and 2 couples checked in, so I asked again at the desk and she said our room was ready. No apologies no friendliness about her. Then upon check out, snowed the night before and the snowplow put 3 feet of snow in front of our car and again the front desk was not helpful. I found a shovel and shoveled my car out. Why am I paying $20 for parking for their snowplow operator to block me in...WILL NOT STAY AGAIN! It is unfortunate because it was a cute Inn 2 years ago. Even the rooms are starting to look tired and the water pipes made a lot of noise at midnight to wake me up and keep me awake. As I said at the beginning, I really did want to give this place a 5....and rarely do I put a negative review on here but I felt very disappointed in this place!!

  • 2/5 Amber W. 2 years ago on Google
Room was very nice. Our issue was the breakfast. Your stay includes breakfast in bed.We told the hotel staff that we were vegan when we checked in. We were served a cliff bar and a whole apple and whole orange for breakfast. It was awful!!! I even called the front desk to ask if they could send us some toast and was told they don’t have any bread. This is not acceptable when we pay the same amount as everyone else and they receive a full breakfast (croissants, yogurt, granola, eggs etc). We had a spa treatment booked every morning and breakfast came over an hour late both mornings so we had to go without eating anything. We stayed 2 nights and both mornings were the same. Do not stay here if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies as they will not accommodate!

Amazing hotel, clean big rooms. Spa was the best. The Spa staff did a fantastic job! Steve and Tracey gave excellent massages best massages we’ve ever had EVER!!! The pedicures Were done laying down such a great idea they were very well done Tracey and Carly did a fantastic job 👏 . The restaurant was amazing. Fresh food, melt in your mouth beef tenderloin Waitress at restaurant super nice had great recommendations of food and wine. Again best food we have ever ate! Couldn’t have had a better weekend thank you everyone at sterling inn. We Can’t wait to come back. Only slight downfall was the beds were too firm for our liking. Otherwise perfection!

Such and AMAZING STAY. Last night of our honeymoon and we got upgraded to the suite with a jacuzzi tub! The bed was so comfortable and the rainfall shower was also incredible. Ordered a room service cheese plate and the breakfast in bed was incredible! Orange juice was delicious and best French press coffee! Would recommend to any couple looking to stay in Niagara!

What a gem. When looking at the outside you would never guess how beautifully done the rooms are.Open rafter ceiling, huge bed, fireplace and steam shower. Breakfast in bed was such a nice treat. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit. Hot coffee and tea is always available in the lobby. Customer service was great. Staff checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The Sterling Inn is very close to all the restaurants and attractions. The falls are within walking distance as well.

First of all the value for this level of hospitality was exceptional. We booked the Wine and Dine package, the restaurant accommodated our request for a beverage other than wine as we are not big wine drinkers. We were served a delicious Martini instead. Th Secondly the room was spacious, the jacuzzi and shower were very relaxing.

I don't often leave negative reviews; most of my experiences with hotels have been positive. The Sterling Inn & Spa is the exception: it's tired and dirty. The 'hotel' is located in a very rundown, sketchy area. The parking lot is unprotected and trash and construction debris borders the property on three sides. Many large parking lot signs warn the guests that the hotel is not responsible for theft of or damage to vehicles. When we raised our concerns about the hotel condition the hotel staff at the reception desk refused to refund our deposit. Avoid this one!

Room was beautiful! Spacious, up to date, well decorated. Staff was welcoming and very kind to us, they even surprised us with a mini bottle of champagne. Would be a 5/5 except the bed was quite uncomfortable, very stiff, additionally, in a super sketchy area of Niagara Falls, and TV had connection issues and did not work. Would return especially for the price. Is nice for a getaway and probably one of the better places to stay in Niagara Falls.

This hotel has managed to charm me. I will never book at a different hotel in this area. My partner and I always enjoy our time at Niagara because sterling inn takes care of us and makes our stay relaxing and comfortable. Very friendly staff, impeccable rooms, and accessible to everything. I’ve had a massage at the spa once and I still think it was one of the massages I’ve ever had. Delicious dinner at AG restaurant as well. Thank you very much to Greg and David at front desk for making each of our stay a great experience. Just a tip: book a room on the upper floors for a quieter night.

  • 5/5 Idris B. 1 year ago on Google
A different (but an amazing experience). I stayed here this past weekend and everything was amazing. However, my weekend was ruined because I had a medical emergency in one of the rooms. The front desk staff was able to assist with getting emergency services to my room and get me taken care of. If it wasn’t for their help, don’t know how it would have ended. I should state that everything was to my expectations in the room and the amenities were top notch. But I will have to return to be able to fully enjoy this place. 5/5 and thank you so much for what you’ve done !

My girlfriend and I went to Niagara for the family day long weekend. We found availability for once at Sterling so we decided to give it a try. This place deserves the high ratings compared to other hotels and inns. The service was great upon our arrival. Very friendly, polite and courteous staff. We checked in late because of traffic but they stop offered an upgraded room for free. The room was beautiful and spacious! The washroom had a large walk in shower AND a jacuzzi. They even offer a complimentary breakfast which was awesome. The food was delicious and fresh! Overall, this was an amazing experience and will definitely book again with Sterling whenever we make trips to Niagara. Highly recommended!!

Excellent place to stay near the falls. Got a free upgrade to the most enormous bedroom and huge comfy bed. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The free breakfast delivered to the room was super. It is a short walk down to the boat trip to the falls or to walk along the top to see them that way.

Location put everything we wanted to do within walking distance, but didn't feel like we were downtown when we got inside. Complimentary breakfast delivered to the room was a pleasant surprise. Stayed in a king room with jacuzzi - easily the most relaxing vacation experience I've had in years, and at a reasonable price. We will be back!

Lovely boutique hotel with steam shower and awesome spa. It’s conveniently located close to Niagara Falls and Clifton Hill. Restaurants and stores nearby. Easily walking to many places. Quite and cozy rooms, comfortable bedding. Breakfast in bed was simple but a nice touch, it has coffee juice eggs yoghurt croissant fruits, and they bring it to the room by the selected time. Highlight is the steam shower, loved it! Especially after a walk along the falls in winter, very relaxing. Also booked a couples massage, great service, and loved that we can wearing our robes to the spa from room.definitely recommend and will go back for sure.

First time booking this hotel and it was amazing. Debby was very accomodating and helpful. We will definitely book this hotel again when coming to Niagara falls. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean. Some of the perks of staying at this hotel are the complimentary coffee and breakfast. Everything is close by and in walking distance to the hotel. We strongly recommend this hotel. The perfect getaway!
