We stayed two nights to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were greeted and made to feel welcome. We were given GPS coordinates to find our way to places we wanted to see and given suggestions on what to see and where to go. This helped us so much. The owner is like an old friend, we saw her frequently taking care of chores and maintenance, always helpful and friendly. We went to our room that was beyond clean and well cared for. Everything was so clean it looked new. We used the pool that was up to the same standards as our room. So relaxing we didn't want to leave. This is not a place coldly run like a well oiled machine by people punching a time clock. It is obviously loved and well cared for like a child. It felt like our temporary home, cared for like we would. If we get back that way again we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thank you!

Best price around, and exactly what you’d expect. Clean rooms with a nostalgic feel. Friendly owners/staff. Great pool that my husband and I had a night swim in to ourselves (it’s open until 10pm!). Easy check-in with a great location. They have shuttles but the drive to Niagara Falls is easy and has good parking on-site so we just drove. Highly recommended and would stay again!

My husband and i went up for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay! we loved the nostalgic feel of the motel!!! Marlana and her family were friendly and accommodating, they definitely take pride in their motel. The king room was clean with no smells or bugs, bed was comfortable, ac worked great. The pool is pristine and inviting. with many places with many dining choices within walking or a short drive. he only glitch for me was no coffee available but I am an early riser and coffee addict that will simply have to take her own coffee maker next time! We had a great time all around and will stay there again!! thank you Marlana for making our stay great!

Really friendly and a nice place to stay. I like the pool and they have a microwave and fridge in the room that is very handy.

Front desk manager, Mary was helpful, welcoming, personable & warm. She shared great info in regards to nearby seafood restaurant and local nightly fireworks which we wholeheartedly enjoyed on my birthday evening. We had double adjoining rooms. Each room was spotless. This place is quaint, quiet & cozy. My daughter was excited to stay here because a scene was shot here from the Tom Hanks' movie, "A Man Called Otto". Would definitely stay here again & would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a Niagara Falls getaway.

A throwback β€œmom and pop” (which we love), Clean, efficient, caring, friendly. The outside pool was pristine and well maintained. When the owner noticed we had headed out to the pool, she came out to dip a couple of leaves out for us. That’s the kind of service we received. It was easy to see, these owners pour themselves into this place. Would definitely stay again. Actually, we are staying again tonight!

When you think Motel you automatically think dingy, run down. The Moonlight is a gem! Rooms are clean. Staff is very polite and accommodating. I definitely will stay here again.

SUPER DUPER CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT! Owners clearly care about their customers and it shows! VERY friendly staff/owners!!! TEN STARS! Our king size bed is the most comfy and clean Ive been on in a hotel in 10-15 years, do not hesitate to book! They COULD EASILY CHARGE MORE.

My family took an impulse road trip from Illinois to Niagra, Ny. An 8 hour trip turned into a 10 hour trip due to traffic and other circumstances, which put our arrival time past 12 AM. When we called ahead to let the office know they informed us about their 12AM closing time. Without hesitation, the staff was kind enough to wait an additional 1.5 hours until we arrived at 1:37AM. Had they not been so accommodating, we would have lost a place to sleep for the night. Even upon arrival, the woman behind the front desk was courteous, professional and welcoming after being inconvenienced by nearly 2 hours of us being late. Their hospitality will not be forgotten! Plus the rooms were very cozy, clean and very comfortable for the night we stayed. After such a chaotic drive, the staff, rooms and motel atmosphere were exactly what we needed. We would 100% stay again.

We went over for a girls weekend the rooms were clean, owners were very helpful and friendly. Rooms had adjoining rooms plus table was large enough for the six of us could play games at night. The pool was very clean with large tables and chairs perfect for our group. Restaurants were walkable or Uber for dinner. The only negative is that there was no coffee maker or kettle in the room. Overall we had a great experience.

I really don't understand how this has 4 stars. This is more like 2.5, max 3 stars. The only positive thing about this motel is that the rooms are clean. Other than that: - there's only one parking spot per room, and I was sternly advised that no visitors are allowed (really?!!??!) - WIFI was horrible. It went in and out and even when connected, the speed was very poor - there's no coffee maker in the room - no tissues were provided in the room - the windows are old wooden windows with poor sound insulation - the motel is on a busy and noisy road; - the area is a bit dumpy with garbage on the grass by the sidewalks. Apart from big box shopping and some places to eat, there's absolutely nothing interesting nearby

Location is great for food and stores. Pillows are the worst, 2 put together in one pillow case. Room smelled of urine if you leave bath door open. TV needs to be mounted higher. Room has some updates. Large king room.

We chose this hotel based on recent reviews and price. We were pleasantly surprised by the value and service- really friendly owners/caretakers. Our only complaint was that the room felt humid. We will definitely be back :)

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean & super adorable & old fashioned. The mini fridge was nice & cold. Easy walk to places to eat & the trolley with a voucher when u stay here is a great option. Everyone was very nice also

Excellent Motel. Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The front desk is very nice and helpful. Located only 9-10 min from the falls and it’s on a strip where you can find anything you need, from restaurants to shopping centers you got it! Will definitely be returning on my next visit to the falls.

One of the best and neatly maintained budget hotel near Niagara falls. We stayed for 2 nights. Rooms were clean and had a king size bed which was firm. Owners were very kind, helpful and always approachable when needed. They do not provide room service when it is occupied owning to COVID restrictions, however when we requested for change of towels, they instantly replaced them in no time. Free trolley bus service stop is merely 2 mins away from the Motel and it takes you to Niagara falls at zero cost. The free bus pass is provided during check-in for the days we stay. Additionally bus timing schedule was also provided by the owner and she guided us with ease about it.

Room was cozy. I personally loved that the ac unit had an option to have the fan continuously run since I normally sleep with a fan on. Would've loved a coffee pot, coffee, creamer & disposable coffee cups in the room for the morning. Wife says the carpet needed shampooed in the room we were in. Kids were upset they were told to get out of the pool when it started to thunder since there was no lightning. Overall I would stay here again, bring my own coffee pot, hope it wasn't rainy so kids could swim & that we got a little luckier with staying closer to when the rooms were shampooed.

Great service, this hotel is clean great clean refreshing smell, pool is crystal clear, and nice firm mattresses. We had a one night stay and this qas a relieving place to be after 2 weeks on the road across the boarder in Canada. Shower was nice and warm and easy checkout, just drop the key in the box. Thank you to the owner!! This place is just right 😁😁

Okay, this is going to be a very HONEST review. My friend and I stayed at this quaint little spot around the end of June 2020. There was no breakfast offered because of COVID; we were okay with this. The room was two different experiences for me and my friend. The mattresses were very firm. We were told by the very thorough and very nice manager/owner, that they were just replaced. I enjoyed my bed, my friend did not. FIRM mattresses. The pillows were also "floofy" (big and thick). The room was clean and very tidy. It smelled as if it was just sanitized, which we appreciated. Check in was to be 3, however, we called and asked if we could get in around 1230 or 1, we got there closer to 12:30 and it was just about ready. The microwave worked in such a way a microwave should. The little fridge worked, but it was in no hurry to chill room temperature cans of pop. Ice was definitely needed to chill the soda in which we were given ice several occasions, all we had to do was walk across the small lot and ask. We were always greeted friendly by all of the staff. The bathroom was very adequate for my friend and I. The shower was also slow to heat but but once it did it was great. The floor had a bit of an issue. We witnessed the carpet being sprayed "liberally" with sanitizer giving the floor a "moist" feeling. I was okay with it and just wore my sandals the time my feet touched the ground. My friend was not happy. The facility is smoker friendly. My friend smokes, I do not. There were chairs and ashtrays out side of the rooms for smokers. My friend was very happy, I was not bothered. The pool is small but just as much fun. There were loungers around the pool and the water was refreshing on a bit of a mild day. I am planning yet another trip to Niagara in September and I am planning on staying again at Moonlight Inn. for another weekend. The price is well worth the services at this little home away from home.

I stayed at this place for 2 nights and had an experience which was quite different from other reviewers. Though the management was good and courteous, the state of the room was really bad. The floors were kind-of wet and seemed "spongy" and it felt disgusting every-time I walked on them. The pillows had hair (may be from previous occupants/cleaning personals..god only knows). The AC made so much of noise that I had to turn it off repeatedly. The curtains felt as if they were never washed or cleaned properly. I would pay the same room cost and select an alternative place to crash in on any given day.

The service is fantastic! The staff check in on you and make sure your stay is everything you wanted. It is a short drive to the falls but the parking around the falls is expensive and fought over so probably the best idea is to stay at the whole day at the falls. The room is good, older but serviceable. I would recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner, theirs is utilitarian at best. The pool is a nice touch and it was very cool to see it in the historical 1950s picture. (Stop by the Italian bakery two doors down when you are there, delicious pastries and helpful staff as well.)

Room's were very clean, and other than a coffee pot was missing nothing anyone would need. Neighborhood was fine, felt safe, even left our own personal lawn chair outside 2 nights, none bothered it. Would definitely stay again

Family owned motel business. Super nice folks that allowed us early check in so we can can store our stuff before our Niagara Falls tour. Great friendly staff!! Very clean bedding and room! Free parking in front of our room was sooooo convenient especially since it started raining! The WiFi was a bit slow and room was a bit dark, but otherwise we had such a wonderful stay! They could easily charge more so I would HIGHLY recommend.
