Room was absolutely gorgeous and paired with the breathtaking view of the falls made it the perfect birthday present. The bed was comfy and clean. The hot tub downstairs was very big and fairly clean. Overall everything was good, there’s a few minor complaints tho. 1. Parking - there is no parking lot on-site, it’s about a 5-7 minute walk away to the parking lot which costs 35$ a night or 50$ for valet service. The lot itself is full of potholes and what seems to be a rundown shack. Was a very annoying inconvenience that we ultimately paid around 80$ for. 2. Shower Door - the shower itself was beautiful. The shower heads had enough pressure and the hot water came fast. The only issue however is that if the glass door got wet, the water would run down and come out onto the floor. We were constantly using towels as there was no floor mat. 3. Checking in - it may have just been the time that we got to the hotel, but it took around 30-45 minutes of standing in line to get to the front desk, and that was with our mobile check in already complete. Overall it was a good stay

Positives: The room and the view. We booked the Superior fallsview room and it was clean and spacious with a really comfy bed. Check-in: Ajay helped us check in and he was really professional and mindful. Negatives: Rooms have no amenities. No kettles, slippers and so on. Room service: Want to order something? 5 bucks for every visit to the room. I've never seen anything quite like that. Overall, the only good thing about this was the view.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel. They had a spa and I loved the breakfast there as well. The spa wasn’t totally amazing but it is great for the location and the accessibility from the rooms. The entire lobby has a view of the horseshoe Falls and you can spend literally all the time you have at Niagara Falls inside the hotel and not miss anything. Loved this stay.

For a 5 star (luxurious) hotel, we expected much more... The view is stunning, and the location is perfect, but everything else was disappointing: we paid extra for a room on a high floor with the falls view, but the window was dirty and the dirt obstructed the view. The air conditioner did not work well, and the room was suffocating, and out of 2 queen beds, only 1 was made in the morning. The housekeeping service took its time to arrive to fix the air conditioner (whose filter, we were told, was so dirty the air could hardly come out). Because it was still not working well, they brought a fan to circulate the air but made a lot of noise. Breakfast was a terrible experience as well: ALL the plates were dirty and oily (my daughter refused to eat there because she was disgusted). They also kept running out of fresh bread, milk, bagels, and other stuff, and there was no one there to replace them right away as one would expect from a luxurious hotel. When we complained, they did compensate us with a free cappuccino, but that did not really make up for our guest experience, especially when the price for B&B only included breakfast for only 2 out of our party of 4 people. Had we known in advance that the conditions and service would be at such a low level, we definitely would have skipped breakfast and gone to a nearby restaurant. I do not usually rate hotels negatively, but we were highly disappointed. It was not worth the price. I would not stay here again

So disappointed. Booked a Fallsview room, got a room from which half of the view was blocked by a column of the hotel building. Nothings like the nice ads they show on various booking sites. Feels like they fully booked all Fallsview rooms and gave us standard Riverview instead. Definitely not worth the steep charge of almost 500$ per night. Even after the stay, the disappointment has unfortunately not faded. The rooms look nice at first glance, but are really starting to show their age. One of the lights in the bathroom was dangling from the ceiling. Some lights in the main room were not working at all. On the first night, a very, VERY loud noise kept us awake. It sounded like a train was running right through the room. Apparently, it was caused by pressure changes in the water pipes. When we asked the staff at the front desk, they were offering us to move to one of their cheapest rooms - without refunding us, of course. We declined and the noise stopped at about 12:30 AM. On the second night, technical staff was opening the drywall right outside our room, because one of the pipes was leaking. They kept working until about 1 AM, when they decided to just let it keep dripping - see photos.

Let me start by saying, the location of this hotel is great. It's right across from the horseshoe falls and plenty of rooms offer fantastic views. The hotel has many negatives though. I simply requested some real dishes, they said I'd have to order room service for that. Then they brought up paper plates which were useless. The room wasn't vacuumed very well. The side table had dirty drip marks down it, clearly not cleaned well. The outdated shower had mediocre pressure. Pool and hot tub were ok. We went down first thing one morning around 7 am. You'd think around the pool would be clean when it's first opened but it wasn't. Also, the pool was quite cold. The hot tub was very nice though. The parking is $35 for self parking and $50 for valet. The parking is a 10 min walk from the hotel. Not much of a hassle but for $35, you'd expect on-site. Shouldn't be much more than $20. Starbucks in the hotel too, a mocha latte goes for $8. Lots of price inflation compared to every other location. Last complaint is the air in the room didn't work. Was quite warm. Had it down to 15 degrees and must've been around 23 still. The view, the location and the beds were the only highlights. The front desk lady was also nice but we waited 25 minutes in the elite member line. The rooms all do seem renovated at least, with the exception of the tub areas. Will try the other Marriott next time in Niagara. But for this one: 2/5.

We booked a one night spa package and got a couples massage. The check-in staff were very friendly. I had to remind them what was in our package we signed up for as some items were not given to us at check-in. They had me scan a QR code for the off site parking as the hotel doesn’t have any parking on site. I go to the lot and had to walk back with out stuff. Later that night we went out and returned to the lot to be told by the attendant guy in a mini van that this was a valet only parking lot and that I was a liar when I said this is where they told me to park 🤷‍♂️ The spa staff were also very friendly and the massage was ok. I’m not a huge fan of them but went with my wife for our anniversary and she loves them and she loved hers. After they wanted to charge us for both massages (one was included in the package). When we told them they had to call and verify we had that package. Once that was worked out, it was all good. The room itself was amazing. The view was better than words can explain and it had two Chairs with a table at the window which was really nice to sit in and watch the falls. Checkout staff were just as friendly and knowledgeable. We had breakfast included in the package and they verified this prior to us going there so it was an easy process. The meal was amazing. Buffet style with many options to eat and drink. A few small bumps in an otherwise amazing getaway.

We had a 1-night stay and were very satisfied with every aspect of the hotel. The staff is very friendly is the highlight, and they are very helpful. especially the housekeeping team and supervisor. The check-in didn’t take 10 minutes. Excellent hospitality. Great and lovely wonderful Niagara Falls to views. Niagara Falls are incredible and definitely worth the visit and enjoyment of firework the nighttime the winter. All thanks, love, and appreciation for this wonderful service staff in the hotel they really did their best for the guest's happiness. Housekeeping was excellent and we will come back again.!

Staff was excellent, that is why 3 stars. Room was good and food was great at Morton’s. Disappointed that they would not enter room to clean and service. 3 nights with the price you should get service. We did have to ask 6 times in 1 day for towels. Covid is not an excuse, sorry. Keep curtains close during the day because it will heat the room. Valet parking was a little excessive at $59 a night or $39 a night to self park a block or 2 away. The Canadian experience was awesome but nickel and dime a lot. The concierge desk was helpful as well.

Nice hotel! The front desk check in was smooth and the staff was very friendly and helpful. She even sent us a surprise slice of birthday cake! The bellman obtained a luggage cart for me although none were sitting out unused. Much appreciated. Our room was great - very clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable. Hats off to housekeeping - friendly and thorough, good job. Our view of the Falls was outstanding.

Had the falls view room. 7th floor, view of falls is very good. Rooms are big and lots of space for two. Great deals when we were here with spirits tasting, wine and craft beer tasting plus pass for transportation. Room has small bar fridge but no safe. Front desk staff were quick and very efficient.

The Hotel is located close to the ‘horseshoe’ fall with a beautiful view from the room (floor 10 or higher recommended). The staff is friendly and helpful, the room was big and comfy, however a little bit dirty and not well cleaned. There is no safe located in the room. The breakfast buffet is good but nothing special. Not so good price-performance ratio.

As with all hotels along the falls, the prices are ridiculous...but the views are good. Our room, a Falls view king, was clean and comfortable. I would advise to keep the curtains closed when out during the hot season to keep the room cooler. We were able to clearly see the falls lights and fireworks from our window. It was also convenient to exit the back of the hotel almost directly to the Incline Railway. A short walk further north will lead to the casino and restaurants. Food prices were astronomical and the food was basic fare. Parking fees were also unnecessarily high. This is a great location for the view, but a decent walk away from the Clifton Hills area and the restaurants there. I would not consider this a 4 star hotel, only 3 at best. Stay a night for the view then move away from the falls to something more reasonable.

The rooms are nice. Unfortunately, the management at this hotel is…. Terrible is not the word… horrible….awful…. Negligent seems appropriate. One of the most expensive hotels in Niagara, but not close to being worth the price. They advertise jacuzzi rooms online, and then they tell you they don’t have them when you arrive. They charged twice the price for a jacuzzi room, didn’t give it to us, and then refused to compensate us the difference between a larger jacuzzi suite, and a smaller 2 bed queen room. I saw other people complain about the water issue at this property. I wish I would have read the reviews before booking. There is NO Hot water in the morning on weekends. Valet service took 2.5 hours to deliver our car. Their excuse was always the same. “We are fully booked and there are a lot of people”. The question that remained unanswered. Why are you renting out hotel rooms when you cannot manage to deal with with, or adequately service your guests? The staff was very friendly. The problem was quite clearly the management of the hotel. Whoever is managing this place does not know what he/she/they are doing, and the behaviour in my respectful opinion is willfully negligent. Avoid this hotel. There are many better hotels, with better service, for half the price. How is this place even a Marriot?

We thought we'd treat ourselves to a nice weekend. Paid for an upgrade, and the view is spectacular! Clean room, very nice. However, there were broken elevators causing long line ups. There was no hot water in the evening. The pool was frigid at best. The worst part was the valet parking. It cost $45 and it took us 30+ minutes to get our car. The valet staff was dismissive and rude. I should have saved money and self-parked.

Amazing view, we stayed in the 2 story room with Jacuzzi tub. The Double bathrooms were nice, the room was very clean, the staff was kind and helpful. We parked valet and it was rather quick to get our vehicles. A little bit of a walk to see the main things but on the bus route and they gave passes to us if needed. I would definitely go back.

December 2021 visit was excellent. The public pool was open and the kids & I spent much of our time swimming alone. However, it eventually filled with other guests. The Jacuzzi was also open and the gym was being used by other guests. Room view was great and faced the falls - perfect for winter viewing. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning which was fresh with variety. Dinning room provides an up-close view of the falls and offered a wonderful morning sunrise. Breakfast service started at 7 and we hope these hours become earlier as more tourist visit. Could you consider becoming a pet friendly property? More then ever, guests are considering where their furry family members will be while travelling.

This Marriott has the best views and most amazing customer service. Gavin went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and to make sure we were pleased with our overall experience. He provided coupons for eateries and even offered to provide the best places for us to eat and visit. There were no limits to the services he provided to us to meet our satisfaction. We were expecting a different room and Gavin took the time and had the patience of an Angel in making sure we got the room we desired. I only wish all concierge had the patience and care that Gavin exercised to my fiancé and I. Words cannot begin to express how thankful we are for your care and understanding, Gavin! Thank you for making our weekend away from work and home, an exceptional experience!

The view of the falls from the room was nice and the room itself was very clean, but that's it. In the rooms, they have a sign on the door that indicates that "in room safes are available", however that wasn't true when I called the front desk. The hotel charges a ridiculous amount of what they claim are "taxes and extra fees" on top of the nightly room rate. We stayed there for 4 nights, and, early the next morning after the first night, they had the fire alarm blaring for 15 minutes straight at 6:30 in the morning. Woke us up and weren't able to go back to sleep, and it was apparently because someone "accidentally pulled the fire alarm". Yes, that was irritating and all, and I wasn't going to mention it, but, after checking out and seeing that they were charging extra fees totaling over $120 on top of the $59 valet rate/day, I couldn't just accept that. I've called 2x now within the last 2 weeks and was assured a manager would be calling me back, but yet I haven't heard back. I'm truly disappointed because I wanted to like this place and consider getting a Marriott Timeshare in the near future, and make this the new vacation spot we take as an annual trip, but if this doesn't get resolved, I might just go back to visiting Embassy Suites. Update: 6/1/23: After waiting for another 2 weeks after the previous review, I reached out myself and asked for a manager, and they made it right. They gave the whole usual "we don't normally do this, but we'll make an exception" speech, and indicated they would refund the resort fee and provide a complimentary upgrade next time we stay. That's more than acceptable for me, so Marriott is back on the table for a possible future timeshare based on this interaction alone.

The BEST Hotel for sure! Breathtaking view! Outstanding and professional staff. We are very grateful for the assistance of one of the supervisors. Her name is Stephanie. We don't only recommend this hotel to friends and family, but we will definitely be back. Our kids loved it. The only criticism I have is their parking fees $39+/day. I thought that was expensive, so we parked our car at another garage a block or so from the hotel for $15/exit. We used public transportation/buses during our stay.

First and foremost, Abby at the front counter is the best employee in the building. Beds are super soft which isn’t for everyone but hey, they’re soft. View is awesome you can’t beat. TV is a great size. Starbucks in the lobby which is nice. Don’t go the IHOP. The food is decent at best and it ran me $130 for a couple breakfast.

Great rooms! Great view House keeping is perfect, loved my bathroom and jacuzzi! Breakfast was lovely :) Starbucks down stairs is handy Location was really good for us to get down to the boats by the fall… Customer service was great by floor staff… Chris at the lifts we bumped into twice was lovely and helpful Only neg feedback was the front desk staff while check in lacked warmth, wasn’t very welcoming. The other two was more into their own private conversations chatting amongst themselves

We are staying here for a long weekend. We had an issue when we first arrived, but this was resolved fairly quickly by the manager. We were very pleased with the friendly staff and manager. Our room had an unbelievable view of the horseshoe and river. Watching the sun rise and the lights on the falls will be unforgettable. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The spa services were great too. If we return to Niagara Falls, we will stay here again.

We stayed here we were on the 20th floor had the superior Fallsview room it was spectacular. Absolutely wonderful experience for the views of the falls. Worth every cent. Service was fine. We or did room service breakfast one day omelettes, they were dry not worth the money. Other than that everything else was excellent.

This hotel has an amazing view of the falls! The hotel was clean and very elegant inside. Our stay there was an amazing experience! We went there for my son's birthday and they went above and beyond and upgraded us to the top floor for the special occasion. The staff were all very friendly and had excellent customer service.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location to view the horse shoe falls as we paid upgrade to executive room. Room was nice and big. WEGO bus passes were provided by the hotel so that was a plus. Room was clean. Gym was nice and clean. Valet parking was great. Location was good for view but not good to walking down to the falls. At least there is the WEGO bus option or paid tram like access to the bottom. Starbucks in the hotel was more expensive than outside plus you can't use your points to redeem. Two issues were the body soap ran out while showering so housekeeping didn't check and there's no safe in the room.

  • 2/5 Mathieu B. 2 years ago on Google
We were a bit disappointed in terms of quality/ price. The window frame obstruct the view, the jacuzzi jets work very little or not at all, the carpeting is very old and the smell of the room is quite disturbing (musty smell). However the staff is very welcoming and smiling. The view remains amazing. For a hotel of this standing and for this price, a renovation would be necessary in my humble opinion.

  • 1/5 Carli 2 years ago on Google
The only reason they deserve a star is because the view is amazing and the bed was comfortable. They ruined our anniversary and the first night since having young children that we were able to have a night away. To say we were looking forward to it would be an understatement. Booking a bi level loft with a beautiful jacuzzi is what our intentions were, just wanting a quiet night in to reconnect, we figured booking the Marriott would be a safe choice. Ugh we were so so wrong, there was no hot water available for the jacuzzi, a problem the hotel has known about yet continues to take peoples money. When addressing the issue with management they didn’t care; the front desk refused to call the room back had to physically go downstairs to make maintenance come to the room. The man tells us this tepid water temperature is normal all while knowing there was maintenance issues for months. The room was not cheap, finally after an hour and a half of having to actually yell at them they moved us to a down graded room that looked like it hadn’t been maintained in quite some time. Fast forward to check out where they proceed to try and charge us $587 the original price before tax that the loft room is worth for a room that’s $185 a night to book. Stating $100 off the price was more than fair after having to pull a Karen at the front desk the manager still refused to do absolutely nothing. Please Please do not waste your time or money it’s unfortunate but this Marriot has gone down hill, take my warning stay somewhere else.

We enjoy going to Niagara from time to time as it is a sort of "local getaway."We chose to stay at this hotel this time because of what we had read about the pool and hot tub. Both of which we do not have available to us at home, so we felt this would be a great opportunity to take advantage of. SADLY, neither the pool nor the hot tub were open. Their were signs at the front desk and on the pool level explaining it was closed, and the Marriott up the block would provide this amenity if we so chose to use it. So our biggest frustration was that we were not informed while booking or before arrival. Otherwise, I would have likely given 5 ⭐️ to this hotel, especially when compared to other options in the vicinity. Our service was great. The room was very clean, the bathroom was wonderful, and the jet tub was very relaxing. I personally also really liked the soaps that were provided in the shower. The view of the falls from the 11th floor was wonderful. We will likely go back to Marriott to try it again. we enjoyed our stay and felt quite comfortable. Hopefully, all amenities are available in the future.

Absolutely great stay at the Fallsview hotel and spa. From the valet staff to the housekeeping staff we were always greeted with a smile. The rooms seemed very clean and the atmosphere of the hotel was also very clean. We had a junior suite on the 17th floor and had a terrific view of the falls. The room was large and spacious and I would definitely stay in it again. The valet service is a bit expensive but the staff does make sure you are well taken care of.

My wife and I stayed in one of the premium rooms that overlooks the Falls and loved it. It was great because we didn't need to rush out of the hotel to see the Falls with the crowds. We were able to take it easy in the morning getting ready with our daughter and enjoy the view from our window. It's a perspective too that you can't really get from the bottom. We definitely recommend it if it's within your budget.

It’s a shame that I have to give a Marriott property 3 stars, but unfortunately I do in this case. We drove from New Jersey on Friday night and had a falls view suite for the weekend. When we arrived late Friday night, we were told that our room was not available and that we would be given our falls view suite the next night. While the night manager was friendly and very apologetic, it was frustrating because we drove 7 hours to stay at this hotel with a falls view specifically. It shouldn’t matter how late we arrive; if we pay for a specific room, that room should be held for us regardless. The ice machine, pool, and hot tub were all out of service for the entire duration of our two night stay. Full disclosure, we weren’t planning on using these amenities, but the handwritten notice about this was unbecoming of a Marriott property. At 12:30 AM the fire alarm went off while we were sleeping and we had to evacuate to the street. This wasn’t a problem, however, the staff seemed very disorganized about what to do during and after this event, and aside from PA notifications about the building being safe, there was no further guidance. I have to say, however, given all of that, the view of Niagara Falls from the room on the second night (the first night we had a view of a dumpster) was spectacular. The staff were also very friendly. Overall, I would expect much better from a Marriott property.

If you're looking for the best, it's at the Fallsview Marriott. As soon as you step foot on this property you are given the VIP treatment. The valets and bellmen are top notch. The hotel is arch-shaped so that every room has a breathtaking view of the Falls (isn't that why you're here). The room is modern and clean. Every staff member we met was cheerful and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview and it has undoubtedly left a lasting impression on me. From the remarkable facilities to the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Shelly and Czarina, my stay was nothing short of perfection. I wholeheartedly recommend the Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview to anyone seeking a luxurious stay complemented by exceptional service. Thank you, Shelly and Czarina, for making my stay one that I will cherish for years to come. I will certainly prioritize revisiting the Marriott Hotel for future stays, hoping to once again experience your incredible hospitality.

In town for the Niagara fall marathon. Did not have a place to stay after the race stopped in to see if they had rooms. Front desk was excellent. They said we had a river view and could got to the room at 2.00pm All very smooth. The room look right into the falls. Could not of been any better. Beds were awesome. Super clean and had Starbucks in the lobby. We had a bad hotel night before and this was a huge blessing. Thank you

Front desk was absolutely awesome. We had an incredible gentleman greet us outside the hotel when we first arrived, named Christopher. He helped us unload our e-bikes and put them in a storage room on the main level. He was absolutely so helpful. The hotel itself is situated in a great area. If you get the fallsview side, it is quite lovely. We were on the city view side and just outside our room, room 1402 was a huge window which overlooked the falls. The elevator took a long time which was annoying. The water in the shower and the sink kept shutting on and off, which was very weird. Also, there was no fan in the bathroom. The other complaint I had, is that the air conditioning would not go cold enough. The lamp beside my bed would not for some reason, charge my phone. Not sure if there was something wrong with the lamp or not. The beds were very comfortable and the room very spacious. We would definitely return.
