Lovely
and
upscale
rooms
that
are
cleaned
well
and
well
kept.
Client
facing
staff
need
some
serious
training
as
they're
extremely
disrespectful.
Upon
arrival,
we
pulled
into
their
space
to
ask
for
directions
to
a
nearby
parking
lot
without
exorbitant
prices,
to
which
a
staff
member
named
Norman
responded
in
an
incredibly
condescending
tone
(without
realizing
we're
guests),
"You're
at
the
**EMBASSY**
so
you're
going
to
have
to
find
parking
elsewhere".
It
was
just
so
dismissive.
When
we
told
him
we
were
indeed
guests
and
we
didn't
know
who
to
ask
directions
from
so
we
thought
we'd
pull
into
our
hotel's
foyer
to
inquire,
his
tone
changed
instantly
and
he
pointed
us
in
the
correct
direction.
When
checking
in,
the
concierge
staff
asked
us
the
most
basic
questions
which
is
absolutely
fine.
When
he
tried
to
sell
us
a
room
upgrade
and
we
shared
that
we
weren't
interested,
he
started
behaving
disrespectfully
and
barely
made
eye
contact
with
us.
When
I
tried
to
strike
up
a
friendly
conversation
thinking
maybe
he's
had
a
hard
day
and
could
use
a
friendly
tone,
he
rolled
his
eyes
at
a
colleague
and
walked
away.
I
just
couldn't
believe
how
disrespectful
some
of
the
staff
are
here
and
I
can
almost
guarantee
that
it's
because
my
partner
and
I
are
young
and
persons
of
colour.
I
truly
didn't
feel
like
they
thought
we
belonged
at
their
hotel.
We
felt
very
disrespected
and
don't
plan
to
stay
here
again,
no
matter
how
nice
the
view
may
be.
To
top
this
all
off,
it
was
supposed
to
be
us
celebrating
our
1
month
wedding
anniversary.
