Worst ever place to stay. Phone, hair dryer just to display not functional at all, charging plug comming out of wall falling down.Carpet so dirty, smelling room. Not at all use of calling staff. All of above receptionist Joanne horrible check in process. Online mentioned 1pm check in time and 10am check out. I called at reception at 1230 to notify my check in time. However receptionist didn't even asked my name or room number I was going to stay, she just disconnected my call saying that will see once you get here. I arrived around 2 still room not ready yet and receptionist Joanne rather than being friendly and apologetic tone she very sarcastically blamed me for not mentioning exact check in time in addiction comment section. Very rude, unfriendly front desk staff (Joanne). Housekeeper was okay.

By far the worst place we have ever stayed in. - found one big cockroach in bathroom. - bed number 1: the headboard was not attached to the wall. - bed number 2: the mattress was not even / flat. One side was significantly higher than the other. - the phone was totally non-functional. I think maybe it was a decoration and piece of plastic because I tried everything and could not get a dial tone or any sounds to emit or any buttons to function. - door-stopper was broken and its screw just casually on the ground for anyone to step on or kids to eat. - lights in bathroom kept flickering. Of the 3 bulbs on the fixture, 1 was not working, one was flickering, and one was working. - manager and staff questioned why we wanted a third towel to share just for the next day (wife was asking for a fourth towel since we r two people but i tried to find a balance of 3 total towels for the 2 days). They allowed us to have 4 towels. - they charged me 15$ extra to have wife there.. when I signed up I did put 1 adult because i didn't think it matters if I have a plus one. These guys charge for any additional person so we made sure our friends stayed in their local homes and not visit us at the hotel even for 5 minutes. To fix above issues, they sent someone. He glued the headboard for bed number 1 on the wall behind bed. We avoided sleeping on there incase it comes off and hits us on the face. I then helped him fix bed number 2 by holding up the mattress while he adjusted the frame and rail. He said to use our cellphones since phone doesnt work. He did not fix the lights. When i called to speak to manager about this, she said that her notes say the phone was working so i told her i have video and pictures of everything i just mentioned. She said she needs to talk to staff and then I should call her back. I called her 5 times that day every hour and she actually ignored every call... the calls were 5-10 minutes of waiting for her to pick up each time.

Great facility, decent price, and very close to Clifton Hills (15 mins walk). The room surpassed my expectations - quite spacious with comfy beds, cozy, clean and bright. Room has a mini fridge, AC, TV, table with 2 chairs, and 2 square mirrors with light. There is ice machine and microwaves on 2nd FL and vending machine on ground floor. There is on-site parking ($15 extra). Definitely recommend the facility and would definitely come back again. 🔔 The AC unit gets quite loud at night! 🌏🌱 I was most impressed with proper water pressure control (not gushing out like most hotels are, as if water isn’t a commodity on earth).

Spent the Thanksgiving long weekend here in a newly renovated room that was very nice with a modern aesthetic. The location is excellent as it is a walkable distance from the main tourist areas (so you don't have to pay extra for parking) while being just outside of the busiest traffic area for a quiet night, so you can have the best of both.

This place is described on Google as having a pool, but it doesn't. We had a reservation elsewhere that got dropped. They took us last minute and the front desk clerk was extremely kind and helpful.

Great place, newly renovated rooms and within walking distance of both districts. We come here every time we stay in town and have always had a great experience.

You have to check-in before 9pm if not please find somewhere else to stay that what I got that notice I got before I reach to US-Canada border. And we had to stay in our car all night because we could not rent any hotel on holiday even I'd already paid two nights.

Great location, clean rooms, shining tiles, free parking. Recently stayed in room 115, thoroughly enjoyed comfort of Diolomat inn. Price is quite reasonable. Strongly recommended. Keen to visit again.

I stayed on the 1st floor which has been renovated gorgeous walked into the room you could tell there was a big improvement very good job I would recommend anybody going there take the floor and you will see a difference in rooms they are working their way up to the 2nd floor in the 3rd floor this place deserves to be a 4 star hotel

Pros: Walking distance to everywhere (falls, clifton hills, restaurants) Hallways smells like a spa newly renovated room although it kinda still smell like paint. Nice water temperature Cons: Poor customer service. Slightly stained sheets No microwaves or hair dryers in sight you have to “request” it but the thing is they never answer the phone, you gotta find one of the staff in person to get it. Fridge needs to get changed. We had a hard time finding the a/c controls it was super hidden. I stayed for 2 nights but they never cleaned the room until we left. Front desk is only helpful when you check in Overall: 5/10

Would have given 0 stars if that was possible. We stayed for one night on the second floor. The lady at the reception was super slow and initially gave us a key to the room that we could not unlock. Apparently it was locked using the second lock and nobody had a key to unlock it. So we were assigned to another room. That room smelled like an ashtray; looks like the previous guests were smocking inside and the housekeeping team considered that normal and provided the room to us without clearing the odour. Could not sleep at all because of the smell. All my clothing stinks with cigarettes smoke now. The management has to enforce the no-smoking rule.

I have decided to visit Niagara Fall on May 21. However, hotel price goes skyrocketing. A lot of hotels cost from 200 to 500 dollars per evening, without even a free parking space, which is beyond my budget as a student. I almost determined to cancel my plan. Luckily, the Expedia offered me the option to live at Diplomat Inn with only 114 bucks for the overnight stay. In addition, I get the privilege to part for free. The room is clean and staff is very friendly. In the meantime, this place is close to tourist site, roughly 15 min of walking (I highly recommend walking, saves the time of traffic jams during peak season). Additionally, there is a 24 hour convenient store with gas station across from street. Furthermore, there are a lot of restaurants near this place. Thus, I highly recommend this place and would like to come back if I travel to Niagara Fall in future.

Three level hotel. looked like the first 2 floors have been renovated but we were on the third that wasn't. Classic 70's appeal, musty carpet, but everything else was clean. We were there for 1 night and would come back. Really want to check the reno'd floors next time! Incredibly close to all amenities and would definately booked here again.

I wouldn't even give them this one star rating as for the fact the towels had long black hairs on them and I got a eye infection from either the towels or the bedding the table was dirty with some sort of food crumbs on it the house keeping people need to do a better job

Price is too high compared to service. Got a room right in front of the exit door, noisy. One door lock and another one covered painted dock tape. The door is not soundproof. Did not feel secure. The place is in renovation tough, found an insect in the room.

Warning*** racist staff. Upon checkin, my friend gave his ID to the clerk. The only government piece of ID he had on him was his Colombian driver’s license. The clerk noted this to us, and said there might be a problem, that they would have to charge us more for a security deposit, since she was afraid we would damage the room, because of the nationality. You would think a business like this would have anti- discriminatory policies in place but just the opposite apparently. Disgusting. Not worth it.

Spacious ,neat and clean room. Good service. I will consider this place for my next trip. Walking distance to falls and all the attractions. I highly recommend this place.

In comparison with the price provided, it is very good option in terms of so many things. As for the location, it is really close to the falls, 10 minutes walking. In terms of the rooms, they are good and clean. The only thing is that there's no elevator in the building. Therefore, if you want to book there, make sure that you are not on the third floor.

It's a Motel 3 floor, no elevator. Carpet. Clean sheets and towels. Good for one or two nights stay. Easy check in. Basic place to stay for $200 taxes included. The place location is good, could use renovation.

The place is impeccably clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, furniture is classy and welcoming. And guess what...! There is no gross and sticky carpet in the room! Replaced with absolutely gorgeous tiles! Wow! We stayed in room 114. Lovely, lovely... LOVELY 😍 I will be staying here all the time from now on. Parking is FREE!!! Also very rare in Niagara Falls. Check it out guys! I truly enjoyed my stay...

In all honesty this hotel should be rented for $20/night. Upon entering the room I stepped on hazardous broken door handle. Carpet stinks, toilet seat was broken. they had to to check me into another room, almost same thing. Plus the blankets are tinny and seems overused. I couldn’t take it I had to check into another nearby hotel midnite. The place is in a great spot but lacks maintenance

The furniture was very old. Carpets were dirty/stained, I had to walk with my slides the entire time. Walls were cracked. I was so disgusted the entire time, it was almost impossible for me to sleep there. Had to use my own bed sheets & bag to lay on the bed as a pillow. The only + was the area, as it was close to Clifton hill and the Falls. There was also no microwave in the room, you'd have to share it with everyone else in a room on the second floor. Paid around $200 on a Saturday to Sunday noon, definitely wasn't worth the price regardless of day. I would highly recommend the owner to get the entire hotel renovated and furnished to newer furniture as the area is great but a lot truthfully needs to be upgraded!!

It’s so funny story , we came and first check from booking and price was $52 for night, we didn’t book , wanted to be sure about free parking and she said price is $100 included tax, we said we order from booking and she hired price in booking 😂 we left that hotel and she again put room for $52 😂 what was the reason to do it ??? Of course we left and didn’t come back and she lost customer, and it’s not weekend or summer days when it’s really busy and you can lost customers😂

Friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance from falls and all attractions. The hotel is old, but neatly maintained. Spacious rooms. There is Fridge and microwave (microwave in a separate room). Parking is free for guests.

I really like this place friendly staff. Good price. But I didn't appreciate having house keeping knock on door at 445pm to clean room and it isn't that we are the last room seems to be the full floor. But none the less it's a great place
