Avoid this hotel. Room was not ready at 4.30pm arrival. We are booked under a Platinum account and have two additional gold accounts at the stay. Zero benefit was honoured. No welcome amenity, no breakfast, no late check out. If you don’t care about anything other then the basic minimum, go for it. Otherwise I would stay at any other Marriott Properties other than this one. Will provide same feedback to Marriott NA.

I made this booking last minute, 9pm to arrive that midnight. I was upgraded to a Junior Suite, which is nice. The room had an en suite jacuzzi tub which looked fine but I didn't use it. The room itself was a bit dated and really needs some upgrades. The shower room was tiny, barely room to turn around in there, less empty hallway space more shower would be better. The TV was old, mid 2000s is my guess. Small. Too small for the larger room that it wouldn't be watchable from the couch, only the bed. A room this size needs a large screen or more than 1 screen. There was also a gas fireplace, but its unlikely to ever be cool enough in there to enjoy it, the room was much hotter than the hallway even with the AC on. Bed was fine, comfy. Everything was good until housekeeping decided that 9am Sunday was a good time to ignore the do not disturb tag on the door. Not one knock, but spending 5 minutes banging and trying their key in the door as if they were told I'd checked out already even though I was woken up by the noise.

Perfect location right next to Clifton Hill. The manager on duty, Kelly, was A+. Professional and kind! My room on the tenth floor was recently renovated and wonderful. Great view. The king bed was very comfortable. The jetted tub was lovely. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. One of, if not the best, Courtyard by Marriott that I’ve stayed at. Thank you so much!

My partner and I got in late and intended leaving earlier in the morning. Pool and fitness facilities were not utilized. Staff was polite, professional, and helpful. Our only complaint was it was a bit dirty from previous occupants. Found a used vape cartridge behind TV, dog food on floor of balcony, and a used soap bar in shower. Bed was clean and comfortable. Would still go there again.

This is a great location for a hotel, which includes parking. They unfortunately don’t have breakfast, but Starbucks is right next door, which is excellent! The beds are so unbelievably comfortable, and it’s overall a really nice room and hotel. The only issue I had is because it’s so close to the strip you do hear a lot, especially the cars racing in the middle of the nice. Other than that, this is a great hotel, nice and clean!

Not sure why the negative reviews. Hotel is super clean, big rooms, staff was very accommodating. Yes we got a renovated room but all we had to do was ask. Much prefer this hotel and location versus the other Bonvoy options, parking much cheaper. Soon will have EV charging too. Will for sure stay here again!

We arrived at Niagra Falls for our vacation. It’s peak season being August (2022) after all. The rates are usually high during peak season; it was high despite booking in April 2022. I am a Marriott Rewards Program member and could not get any credits for the 5 nights. Pros: clean hotel, large queen suite, like the decor of the room, housekeeping services, great location. Cons: Paid for parking, no free breakfast, our view were the parking lot, small outdoor pool, no outdoor seating or patio, no credit for staying at a Marriott despite being in the Marriott Rewards Program. Overall the hotel wasn’t too bad. We really had a great time visiting the fall. Again the location was great and was walking distance to the falls.

In a word, 'wow!' I had stayed at this hotel was 2012, and it was nice and well appointed then. But, now, in 2023, this newly renovated Courtyard is truly spectacular... Fresh carpeting, new furnishings, state of the art in room technology, a really well designed bath area, and a comfortable lobby all add to the excellence of the overall experience. An extra added treat is that, from my 7th floor room facing away from Victoria/Ferry Street, I was able to watch the fireworks at 10pm from the sofa in my room. Nice! There's a steakhouse (The Keg) off the lobby, a Starbucks off the parking lot, and the location is just a short walk to both the Clifton Hill and Fallsview areas. Perfect in every way.

If you are looking to go back in time to the 1990’s this is the hotel for you, however they are planing a upgrade soon. TV is limited, small screen and hard to believe we had such a poor quality picture in the 90’s. Only reason I am giving this any star is the location is great, would be a great time to tear down the building and start over. Note this hotel does not honour any Marriott elite benefit, no breakfast, no water, no late check out, no mobile key. Doesn’t matter if you are titanium or platinum.

VISITORS BEWARE! As Marriott bonvoy members, this stay was ATROCIOUS! First impressions are everything/lasting, and our impression was a very unprofessional front desk staff. Dan was awful, rude, and would not listen when we spoke but instead spoke over top of us and was uncompromising in his stance. We booked this hotel and NOWHERE was it advertised that it was undergoing renovations, and we specifically booked a 2 queen room for the bath and were shocked to be stuck in a room over looking the garbage, with no bath, and abruptly told this was the only room available (although when we went online the hotel was still taking bookings for 2 queens with a full bathroom and bathtub). When the matter was pressed we were given the option of staying in the room we had or moving to a similarly horrendous room which had a bathtub but was directly behind the garbage bins on the first floor, and renovation materials/construction debris leaning against the window. When we reluctantly accepted the first room there were no apologies but rather a smug shoulder shrug from Dan and nothing further. We have never experienced anything like this before, and on top of that, the absolute lack of customer service from Dan was even worse. The housekeeper who serviced our floor was lovely and offered the amenities needed when we explained we were told that we would get nothing if we didn’t request room service by 6am (an absolute joke, but was forcefully told so by Dan). Needless to say our experience was wretched and we would never stay here again unless there was a big shake up in how the hotel presents itself, and we are definitely passing on our disdain and warnings to others. Although ideally located this are also becomes very rough and seedy after dark!

Great hotel. Front desk made check-in so pleasant and even offered us a free upgrade. Very clean hotel. Pool is great and has really good hours. Indoor pool is open until 11, which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the falls, Clifton Hill and swim. Highly recommend as it’s also in a great location close to all the amenities.

Everything went great with our stay. The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable and parking prices are reasonable. We were also upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi, and enjoyed it very much. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to just about everything. The only thing I would ask to improve on is the tv quality, but at the end of the day you shouldn’t got to a hotel just to watch TV.

We had another great experience this weekend. Updated room was fresh and clean. The only thing I might add is that there are a lot of renovations being done and there was a sign that the pool areas will be closed until winter of 2024. Good thing to know for families with kids.

The hotel is lovely, newly renovated. I have stayed here multiple times and can’t wait to return. The staff is phenomenal. Saed always goes above and beyond and is very pleasant and helpful. He’s a real gem and one of the main reasons we always return to this property.

Very Nice rooms, we had a spa king, and we're pleasantly upgraded to a junior suite, the hotel is beautiful, very clean and kept nice through out, the indoor and outdoor pools and exercise room were all a hit with my partner, my only pet peeve was that I had to ask for new towels daily and they did not clean or make up the rooms daily or even every 3 days, not sure why?,Covid19 is behind us in july2023, but I guess it might still be an excuse not to enter rooms, or clean rooms, anyway I did enjoy my stay, and saved on tipping housekeeping. We also enjoyed the Keg bar and grill located in the hotel.

I stayed here for 5 nights. Cassandra, who checked me in, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. My stay was wonderful, but when it came time to check out, the night auditor was not at all friendly. I didn't even get her name, and it seemed like I was disturbing her peace. Maybe she was just exhausted ...........

I will say that the location of the hotel is great, everything is a walkable distance and the room is a pretty good size. I reserved online at $190 for one night, and when I got to the hotel they said there is a $200 damage deposit to put down (which isn’t mentioned on the website), and a $20 parking fee. After we paid the fee, we went upstairs to the room. It was disgustingly hot inside, the thermostat said 16° was the lowest it went but it did feel way hotter. It was so hot that our water bottles we brought were too hot to touch. We wanted to watch TV but once you turn the TV on, it just shows a black screen, it was pretty disappointing, but it wasn’t a huge deal. When we were going to charge our phones one of the outlets didn’t work. Breakfast in the morning is also another $20 for one person which I thought should have been included in the price. Overall the hotel is alright, but it definitely isn’t worth $200. I’m pretty disappointed

This was a great hotel. It was a 12 minute walk to the Falls, and about a 7 minute drive from the butterfly gardens. Parking was convenient; they actually had a parking lot. The rooms were very clean. The whirlpool was pleasant! The hotel pool was also very clean, but it was disappointing that the hot tub/spa was closed. The outdoor pool looked nice, too, but was closed for the season. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Awesome spacious room and great location (Niagara falls in walkable distance). Many hotels and shops near by. My only issues were, they didn't provide any complimentary breakfast and they charged for vehicle parking which was unfair. I am not sure why would they charge their customers for parking their cars which i haven't seen in any hotel. They need to fix this. Good experience overall.

Nice looking hotel, kind staff but worst Marriott experience I’ve ever had. It took them almost a month and about 10 separate conversations to return my security deposit from the checkout date. The last straw was having to smash a cockroach on my bathroom counter in the morning. Upon early checkout the stay was refunded to the wrong account. It just goes on. It was not smooth or reassuring addressing these issues with the staff. After 3 separate stays here, I can confidently say that this is the most incompetent hotel I have ever dealt with. I stay in Marriott hotels 150+ nights a year and this was the worst customer experience I’ve had yet. Sparing even further detail, I highly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Someone said this hotel was "posh" I didn't get that vibe. It was a very good hotel though in the highest sense. Great value and greatly exceeded my expectations. Hotel room modern and spacious with refrigerator. Our room was quiet. I packed a white noise machine and didn't use it during 3 night stay. Pool was great, hot tub on but jets not working. It was fine. We walked to the falls, skylon tower, Clifton hills. Starbucks and Denny's right next door though the hotel breakfast ($55 w tip) was cheaper and better in my opinion. My hub liked Denny's ($75) better. The housekeeping was great to us and thoughtful. Overnight parking was cheaper than hotels closer to falls. We ordered a $55 steak from The Keg and are it in our room. This treat was worth the money and the hostess at the Keg was absolutely wonderful. Thank you to everyone.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. We wanted something close to the boardwalk which is why we picked this place out, the boardwalk with shops and food is very close to this place. The rooms are very nice and you need a keycard to get everywhere even the front of the hotel which made us feel safe. If you are looking for a falls view this isn't the best for that, but if you are looking for a hotel close to lots of activities this is a very good choice! We would come back here again

Great location, loads of paid parking on-site. Staff are not overly welcoming and the service for the rooms is non existent. Called down for fresh towels and was given a lecture about how to reuse towels for 4 days....no thank you. I wanted our room serviced on day 3 and nobody came to do so even after calling the front desk to please do so. The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. Everything was very clean upon arrival. I would recommend staying here.

Great stay here over the past weekend. We decided last minute to stay in the falls and the hotel was very accommodating to us. They upgraded us to a suite with a City view which was perfect for our 2.5 year old! He loved looking out the window and having the couch was a HUGE bonus for him to chill out on. I wont lie in the room there were a few hairs in the shower ( I took pics to back up my story) but other than that, it was a great stay. The bed was super comfy! Probably the 2nd comfiest bed in a hotel I have ever slept on!! My only downfall about this hotel would be no breakfast included. For the price I would have liked even a small complimentary breakfast bar, the breakfast at the keg was good but basic choices. You pay a set price for everything included which is good, but for hotel guests maybe even a better price? We will for sure be back to stay again! The location is great too!

We were promised falls view but the falls were no where to be seen BUT they were about 20 minutes walk. The Hotel was immaculate clean, room was clean and spacious, service was excellent and the guy at the reception, don’t remember his name, was so friendly and it seemed he knew what customers think of asking before they do! I loved it. One thing that truly stands out for me was the three big bottles in the bathroom to replace the small bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles. Genius environmental idea to replace tons of these small bottles. An awesome experience over all!

Nice place. Pool was clean, warm, very relaxing. The hot tub, and sauna weren't up and running. The location is great. Our room was clean and spacious. However not worth what we paid. Said we had a suite. But it was more just like a regular room with 2 beds.

  • 5/5 Lori P. 1 year ago on Google
We stayed here for 4 nights! Our 2 queen suite was huge. It had two rooms and fit 5 of us with room to spare. We had an updated room. Colors were in the bluish green range. ( much much better than the old pics on the website). We used pool and hot tub , sauna was out of order. Location is good, busy area but not as busy as the bottom of Clifton Hill. Plenty of restaurants to choose from . Staff were pleasant, check in was easy. Breakfast at the Keg ( buffet with a omelette station) was very good and at $20 a person not badly priced compared to other options in the area . No problem with parking, plenty of spots . ($17 a night) Definitely would stay again.

Nice hotel and centrally located if you aren’t bent on getting a fallsveiw room. Make sure to stay on the newly renovated floors. The rooms are really nice, modern and up to date. Rooms are clean and beds are extremely comfortable. The pools will be renovated and could use to be redone. Overall a great hotel in the Niagara Falls area and I will be back.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Courtyard and couldn't have been more pleased with our stay. We got the Jr. Presidential Suite and it was amazing. The room was updated, clean and very spacious. The jetted tub was perfect after a long day of walking around and exploring the sites and attractions. The hotel is perfectly placed near Clifton Hill, so everything was within walking distance. For the few things that weren't within walking distance, we used the WeGo. It was really convenient taking the bus, as there was a stop literally across the street from the hotel. We were facing the city, so it was really cool seeing the night life - however, be prepared for most things to be active until 1 or 2am. The only thing that was a slight downside was that the bed was a little softer for our liking, but it was manageable and didn't cause us any issues. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially with our questions in regards to the Niagara attractions. If we ever go back, we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for one night late April, it was very clean and sanitary. Location is secure and beautiful lobby to sit and chat in. Free wifi and front desk was polite. One major problem is the room heating doesn’t work, the temperature settings didn’t work when we tried to set it. We complained to front desk and they gave us the tiniest heater that wouldnt even heat you if you sat right in front of it. We were really cold through the night. It might be due to the renovations or something- not sure.

I'm being a little picky here but here are the pros and cons of this hotel. Pros: location to restaurants and entertainment. Decent price per night. Staff are friendly. (Free upgrade to king suite , but) Cons: outdated rooms, main lobby smells, the rear parking lot looks like it could use a lot of work. Tv is tiny. Bathroom is small. Parking fee is ridiculous.

We were just get back from our stay in Courtnyard Marriott hotel at Niagara Falls We were so disappointed as shower wasn't working, they fixed by we have to wait for more then two hours and of course we late for our already booked dinner I would suggest to all of you ask right away for the new room not like us waiting before it's fixed Also when we ask for some brake or parking discount they told us because we didn't change room no discount. So don't make same mistake as we did

Was alright. Close proximity to Clifton hill is great and the price for parking is cheap compared to other hotels in the area. However they really need to ensure the rooms are clean. The couch in my room had white stains on it and was no longer useful🤢

This is our 2nd time staying here. A bit disappointed the breakfast buffet was closed. It was great when we last visited before COVID. The location is excellent. An easy walk to all attractions. The value is excellent here. They are renovating their rooms. I look forward to seeing the new look.

Because the room above us made lots of noise the whole time. Loud talking and a kid running and playing with a ball. Late at night we called security. Second time we called security they said the room we complained about has a do not disturb sign so they will not disturb! While we could not sleep ... Almost midnight we had the security in our room so they checked and said they would go to that room. Never stopped all the noise and we had a very bad night. Complained in the morning and they said a manager would call me soon to get us compensation. As we stahes here for our birthday/ anniversaryThis did NOT happen. Called twice and also left a voice text. Now more than a week later nothing... So do not stay here if you want to have a good night sleep!!

Hotel is lovely! Kelly at check in was AMAZING. 10/10 for customer service. She was very helpful and polite. We had a king size room with Jacuzzi. Room was very clean and spacious. Hotel is in an excellent location. Highly recommend. I've stayed at other Marriott's in Niagara, this one by far is my favorite. Great work Kelly - keep it up!
