We initially picked this hotel because it had one of the cheapest rates online compared to the other 5 star hotels closer to Clifton. The 10 minute walk is not bad at all unless the weather is poor. My issues were the poor location, poor customer service, sketchy location, and a ridiculous final price with all of their "extra fees." My girlfriend is the HR manager for Hilton and said half of those fees we got she has never even seen before. We stayed for 2 nights, first night was $99 and the second was $249. When we got to the hotel, they told us we're being charged almost $20 a night for parking, and an additional charge just for the hotel fee. Then there were some other fees that I didn't even know what the lady was saying. The older lady who was checking us in said our total with the $100 security deposit was something like $650. When I had questioned the price and showed her what the bill from the email said, she said that online prices are just "an average price" as she said. That's not right, especially considering we had paid over the phone and received a confirmation email with the total. I nicely said to the lady that we should have our original price honored as any hotel should do, and she gave me horrible attitude back like I had said something wrong. The manager came and said they would adjust the price upon departure, so we were left with a $650 hold for the weekend. In the end, they only knocked off something like $120 in which $100 was the security deposit. The total came out to $520. Absolutely ridiculous price, especially considering that it should have been only $350 without all of these fees. For the price that they trick you into paying, you're better off going to a 5 star hotel right on clifton hill or fallsview. Even for $350 this hotel isn't really worth the money but for over $500 for 2 nights forget about it. Funky smell in the room, sketchy location with drugged out homeless people walking the streets, nowhere close to the luxury hotels you find on the strip, poor customer service, small overcrowded pool I didn't remotely get close to going in, and most importantly EXTREMELY overpriced hotel rates with ridiculous extra fees. We will never stay here again.

Very clean, nice the family enjoyed it. We encounter nice front desk people. Bed we ok. A but distance away from the falls and town but if you don't mind walking then you are ok, we were ok. The extra fees caught us of guard a little the parking is like 30$ but they said $18.99 and then the added fees and hotel fee, other than that we liked it.

Stayed in the King Jacuzzi suite on the first floor. The room was not very clean. There was pink bacteria in the grout of the shower, snot wiped on the bathroom door. Dust in areas. The jacuzzi looked clean but when we filled it up and turned the Jets on there were huge clumps of hair floating around and honestly it made me feel sick to my stomach. The experience is suppose to be romantic, and gross large clumps of hair is the furthest thing from. If the hotel gave the cleaning staff more time to clean the rooms, they would be able to use jet cleaner and grout cleaner, so this isn't the maids fault but the hotels. The couch in the room had white stains on it, not even trying to say what those may have been. The cover on the bed also had some staining. The toiletries were cheap, with only one shampoo/conditioner and two bars of soap, no body wash, body lotion, etc. The bed was comfortable though and the room spacious. The room was so loud. People screaming at 3am and doors slamming at 7:30am. The game room and pool seemed nice though I didn't use them and the hallways were clean. The staff was friendly. Overall I did have a good time with my fiance and loved that he surprised me with a visit to the falls and a romantic room. I am not impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel though and I would stay elsewhere in the future.

Near cliff area. Everywhere is walkable and this place has parking. Great for budget travel or kids / families Rooms are old but clean. You get what you pay for here. There was a permanent stain on our toilet seat, but the room was upgraded with a view, so I will balance it out with that positive.

Was very impressed especially reading some of the reviews I was shocked on how nice the Ramada was. The room was very clean and spacious, felt comfortable. Front desk staff was great even gave me a free upgrade when my original room wasn't ready for early check in. Will definitely be back soon.

We have stayed here before and have come back for our third time. The jacuzzi tub is legit!!! The room is spacious, and the staff is friendly! Walking distance to whatever you need in under 10 min. Also like the game room! No microwave in the room, but thankfully we haven’t needed it…sometimes we do enjoy a microwave. Very clean and updated space. Definitely a yes!!

Awesome hotel...room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. Pool was a bit small but heated and not crowded. Close to all attractions and reasonably priced. I will stay here again.

Amazing place to stay. Ramada came in clutch to help us out and got us settled in. The rooms are clean. Check in staff is amazing. They have a pool on site, and a gym. Everything is within walking distance as well. Thanks for the awesome stay Ramada.

A car alarm went off in back parking lot, at midnight. I peeked out see check... security also came out rather quickly, as quickly as you can reasonably expect. So that in itself is good. He could have probed more. Suspect hid behind a van. 🙄 Having a breakfast feature would have been nice. But all in all no complaints

This is a Super8 motel turned Ramada. Management is not very good. The hotel smells like curry all the time. The coffee machine in the lobby is $4.00 a cup and the coffee taste very bitter and not like coffee. The room walls are very thin and you can hear everything and all the doors look like they were broken into at some point. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. It’s over priced and a waste of money. You might as well stay at one of the $50 hotels you see on orbits. At least you know you’re getting your moneys worth.

As far as Niagara hotels go this was a nice stay. Staff was friendly (Payal). My room was very tight but clean. Good location. Pool, gym and lots of parking.

I recently stayed in this hotel during my visit to Niagara Falls with my family, but unfortunately, our experience with their service was disappointing. We had requested the hotel reception to clean our room in the morning while we went out to explore the fall view and ferry. However, when we returned in the evening, we were shocked to see that our room was still untidy with no cleaning done whatsoever. We immediately contacted the room service and to our surprise, we were met with a girl named PAYAL who was very rude and unprofessional in her behavior. She was quoting hotel policies but did not provide any proof of the same. As a family with young kids, we needed a clean and hygienic room to rest for the night, but the hotel failed to deliver on their promise. I have been using Ramada hotels for the past 15 years all over the globe, but I have never encountered such poor service from any Ramada hotel. Overall, our experience with this hotel was quite disappointing, and I would not recommend it to anyone planning their trip to Niagara Falls. I would advise choosing a different hotel with better service standards.

The hotel added $27.15 *per day* in various fees when we showed up after making an online reservation. Even after this, it wasn't a bad deal, all considered. But we wish that Priceline had warned us clearly. Comfy bed. The bathroom in Rm 307 needs work. The toilet runs (about every flush in three). The shower curtain is WAY too long -- see picture. Noisy fan needs servicing. Room itself is spacious, but wallpaper is peeling -- see picture. Sandra (?) on Friday was very helpful and basically perfect checking us in.

We arrived on bikes after a 40 mile ride. We had a king room reserved, but it was too small to fit our bikes. The agent gave us a free upgrade to a bigger king suite. Excellent service!!!

Overall the room was clean and big. Staff were very helpful. I had to request an additional bed and within less than 15 minutes the bed arrived. Special thanks to Abdullah (duty manager) who was very collaborative and helpful when my mom forgot her bag in the lobby of the hotel. He helped us to get it back and the bag was delivered in the mail. And thanks to everyone who helped . I recommend the hotel to everyone.

Very friendly staff. Some charges for parking $20 and random amenities as well. Room was nice and quiet, my family and I slept well. All of Niagara is a tourist trap, parking is not free anywhere. Also, make sure you are on time, not early for this hotel. Overall, good stay

Its an average hotel. Room size is good. They allow an additional bed on charge. No breakfast offered here. Parking is paid per day at $18. Pool is too tiny but it offers towels at the pool so no need to carry from the room. Room service is offered at 5 nights stay which is a bit awkward. Coffee is in the room and nothing else is complimentary. No views to the fall though.

The staff is very lovely and helpful which is why I have given 1 star. I feel it should be zero due to the extreme lack of sanitation in the rooms and bathrooms. Beds were made but hair all over the sheets. Dead bugs in bathroom. Toothpaste on mirror. Toilet not cleaned. Food and drink spills (not very old) on dresser and desk. I alerted the staff and they were responsive but said there was no cleaning staff in the building anymore but could clean it the next day..we were checking out the next day. Even if we intended to stay longer I would have checked out. Bought cleaning products to clean things myself so I could tolerate the room. I have been here many times with no issues. Sorry to see the quality and sanitation go down so much in a year (last time I went was Sept 2021). I will be staying elsewhere moving forward.

Overall: clean, old/outdated, ok staff, loud, no breakfast and no free parking. Pros: The rooms were very big and EXTREMELY clean. The beds were comfortable and with soft clean sheets. The bedroom included a coffee maker and a small fridge. The staff was quick to respond when we asked for a clothing iron. The hotel also has a little gaming room and a small pool. Cons: The bedroom walls are PAPER thin. I could not sleep for two hours because I could clearly hear what the guests in the other room were saying. I would stay away from this hotel if you are very sensitive to noise. The parking fee (an additional $20) is unnecessary, especially given that some parking lots are available closer to the falls at ($10) per day. Moreover, given that the parking is an additional $20 you would expect some type of security but there is none.

Spent New years at this hotel. Room was spacious and the jacuzzi was a really nice feature. Lots of confusing fees however that arent really explained same with the deposit. Ended up being slightly more expensive than initially expected. Don't think I'll be back. There are better hotels for the same price.

Parking is extremely cheap and right outside the front and back door. We had an issue with noise and once the front desk was notified they were swift to investigate, within 5 minutes they had evidently terminated the problem. The rooms are clean, well maintenance and spacious. Fastest elevators you’ll ever use also! They also have an arcade in the lobby. 10/10, we will be back!!

During COVID, you would think that cleanliness would be a priority. Not here. We arrived to find black smudges on the bedsheets and some roaming bugs later on. Not what you want to see, but what was worse was that when my boyfriend called the hotel (informing them we were out) and asked for a cleaning, the staff let him know that they were not offering cleaning services due to COVID. (What???). We were out and not coming back until the evening. There was no threat whatsoever to us or the staff. This is a sorry excuse to make cutbacks that should not be taken, especially now! Public health crisis = more cleaning, not less. Disappointing stay and atrocious customer service experience. No one here seems to have any interest in addressing and resolving issues.

Smooth check in process. Pleasant staff and parking close to the hotel. Hotel is located near downtown with a lot of attractions in the area. 1 star missing for room equipment, closed pool and fitness room. Also cleanliness to be improved.

My husband and I were greeted by Tim at the front desk. He was so lovely and very informative. He took the time to map out all of the top places for sightseeing. He was straight forward with letting us know there was an extra charge for parking and a nightly charge as well as a $100 hold. We had the hold was released within 3 (business) days. The pool was closed however, we knew this as it had clearly stated it on the website, due to Covid rules. We booked a jacuzzi suite and it didn’t disappoint! The room was clean and comfortable. Again, no housekeeping due to Covid. I was more than ok with that. We just put any garbage outside our room and it was collected. We had a wonderful view of the downtown core, especially the night view! Everything lit up was spectacular. We were about a 15 minute walk from Clifton hill. There are many restaurants super close by. One being Domino’s pizza right across the street. I HIGHLY recommend Chucks Road house just down about 1.5 I down Lundys lane . We would 100% recommend this establishment . We will absolutely be back!

I had to write a second review down grading it to one star. Despite the rooms being clean, the misleading information about indoor pool and gym and hidden fees needs to be reported and investigated. We booked through Priceline and price advertised what they charged at when checked in completely misleading. Especially when they lie to you saying indoor pool and gym closed due to covid. We’re fully vaccinated and had proof of vaccination. Meanwhile the same brand hotel Ramada on Stanley had their indoor pool and gym open. Stop lying and advertise on false pretences. I think it’s illegal if I’m not mistaken. Be ware before booking. Especially, if ur travelling with kids

Staff was pleasant and check in and checkout was swift. There was no room service but you could call the front desk. Rooms are well kept and spacious considering the hotel’s a bit old. Has a play/game room on the ground floor. It’s a good place for a low budget trip. Extra parking behind the grounds.

We were a little worried after seeing the reviews. But we were really surprise by the King Bedroom! The check-in/check out steps were easy, the room was clean, the bed is confortable and all the first kit requirements were there (coffee ans tea machines, fridge, towels, soaps, shampoo and revitalising...). On the first floor you have microwaves and ice machines as well. Overall it was a good experience. FYI: Be careful, if you have a car, you must pay roughly 16$ tax for the parking. The view is not wonderful but for the price, this hotel is really nice ! Thanks for the night.

pretty bad. online it said it included swimming pool and parking... but we had to pay for the parking and the swimming pool is under construction. Also, we have been traveling in Canada for 3 weeks for than 5 hotels, all pools are working and we have had room service. Here due to Covid no room service. Definitely for the same prices there are better options. Pretty bad experience!

The location was fantastic, staff was alright, bathtub in the room was gross, the rest of the room was clean. Stayed a couple nights, didn’t sleep, walls were thin and people were constantly partying, loud music, yelling. Parking was expensive, wish it was included.

Service was excellent. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. Some rooms are better than others - mine was perfect and quite spacious, but another from my group was quite small and cramped. Location is decent: the falls, food and entertainment are all a fairly short walk away.

  • 4/5 Michelle M. 1 year ago on Google
Cons - small room, smelled like cigarettes Pros - Tim and the team are exceptional and they deserve 5 stars. Their service level is impeccable, so courteous, kind, welcoming, helpful. You can tell they really want their guests to get the best experience on their stay. They are truly what makes this place a great hotel to stay in as service goes a long way. My husband lost his wallet outside and they checked the cameras and showed us to see where it was lost and came outside with us to check the area and help us find it. Also parking there compared to other hotels is great. Huge parking lot available so you don't have to drive around. Lastly its close enough to the falls for a 15-20 min walk, but far enough so that your not in the loud and crowded area.

Stay was fine but paying $18.50 for parking + $5 (facilities fee) was weird. Facilities such as gym, pool etc are a part of the hotel services and guests should not be asked to pay more for it. Parking a couple of blocks away was $10 for the whole day. Hotel charges $18.50 which is a bit too much for the hotel guests. Reception Staff was great and no complaints on that. The location is around 15 mins walk from the falls and that helped.

Watch out for the extra fees. We paid about 20% in addition to our Expedia fee at the hotel. That being said, it was all stated so I won't count this against them. The staff were super friendly, the room was clean, and there are a decent amount of things to do at the hotel with a pool, arcade, and gym available. The area is okay. It's not close but not far from the Falls and the other big attractions. It was nice that we got a room where we could see the fireworks and a bit of Clifton Hills (I think it was room 723).

The building was completely renovated, looked brand new. The place was spotless clean. Staff were amazing and friendly. You request something from front desk, you'll get it within 30 seconds. And most importantly the price was the best for the great neighborhood. I was really surprised and impressed having such a nice new clean and spacious room.

Stayed for our wedding anniversary- the room was very clean - great job by housekeeping! Overall clean, tidy and furnishings were well kept. We enjoy walking so the location was good for us. My only complaint was that we didn't get the king size bed which is what we booked.

Very nice hotel for family visit. Walkable to all major sight seeing spots. Best thing was the staff they were very helpful. The guy on front desk (Tim) was very professional he gave us detailed information about hotel and the city. Housekeeping too was very hospitable. They have good play area for kids and rooms were spacious with good jacuzzi in the room. Good 👍 job guys . Keep it up.

If you like a somewhat budget friendly hotel, this will suffice. Away from the main busy street, but close enough to be on the way.. BUT Parking is still crazy expensive $20 / night with additional charges for unsupervized and random outdoor parking, tight space, full of potholes. (They will charge you extra charges/taxes/fees - Our 2 night stay parking for $40 ended up being $79.68 when checking in. Just for parking). This is over the deposit and the booking fee and hotel fee. Facilities are pretty old. Decent, but old.. The air-condition or heater was so loud. Had to turn it off. Sacrificing temperature for sleep. The sheets have too much lint and fuzz (been sneezing since checking in the room). They wont do daily housekeeping (unless asked).. It gets pretty loud. They don't have rules for noise or disturbances.. Other visitors were running around the hallway for hours. After hours. Other visitors are loud even until 3am. Can't seem to contact the front desk for both occasions. We used the phone from the room and our personal phones to contact the hotel. Both unsuccessful.. Good enough if you just want a place to keep your luggages while roaming Niagara. But best to keep away if you want to rest or a good night sleep.

The rooms are clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. We traveled all the way from Alberta to spend the New Year in Niagara. Despite arriving earlier than the designated check-in time, we approached the front desk to inquire about the possibility of an early check-in. To our delight, the staff was incredibly accommodating and promptly arranged a room for us, allowing us to rest after our lengthy journey. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service.
