Great service! Staff were really friendly, helpful & accommodating. Our room was clean. The issues we had were that since the motel was dog friendly there was a loud dog barking all day and evening a few doors down. There were also bunch of loud disruptive girls and a guy that were screaming and fighting Friday night and Sunday at 5am. Cops & paramedics were called. The front desk were professional and handled the situation well.

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are excellent sized. The indoor pool isn't very big but was perfectly sized for my children. Not too far of a walk to the falls and MANY other activities. A great hotel for the price. They have complimentary coffee but no breakfast. There is a $10 daily parking fee, but this is comparable to other hotels in this area. However, if you are looking for a hotel with housekeeping you need to look elsewhere. Despite our complaints and assurances that our room would be cleaned daily and new towels and such put out, it only happened 1 of the 5 days we stayed there. One day they even knocked on our door at 9am when the do not disturb sign was out and asked for our dirty towels and then never replaced them with clean ones. This hotel is very capable of achieving a 5 star, but NOT with the current housekeeping.

I had to spend a month here during the pandemic waiting for my new place. I absolutely loved it. My room was on the first floor closest to the main entrance, I mention this because I have a very playful husky shepherd. They were very accommodating and understanding. Always giving my dog treats. Anything I needed it was taken care of. I love the staff and will go again and definitely recommend.

Came here for a last minute trip. We picked this motel because it was pet friendly. We were greeted with friendly staff and they were very kind towards our BIG dog and they welcomed him with treats. The rooms are basic and they were very clean, newly renovated, the pillows and bed were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we were to bring our dog along. **I noticed a review below about not leaving the room if you had a pet. The waiver we signed allowed you to leave the room but your dog must be in a crate (which is 100% understandable) and you left your number in the case your pet was disturbing the other guests.**

January to February 2020-Coming all the way from Hawaii to visit my ailing Mom (I was born and raised in the Falls), I had the need to stay for a entire month. After many calls and inquiries (being gone more than 20 yrs,), this task seemed impossible not just to afford, but also book that amount of time, I contacted the newly renovated Motel 6 and was directed to one of the managers named Emily. She not only gave me an excellent price(compared to other locations) and they are still walking distance from all the attractions, They also offer a Military discount whether you are Canadian or not. The Staff was extremely friendly, and every time we came in or out ,they asked us if we needed anything and gave me a great greeting(in these days the desk clerk doesn't even look at you). Our room was quiet and well proportioned and clean. Any extras that were asked for appeared immediately. The room was a good size very clean.The staff were so friendly that I was actually was somewhat sad to leave because they had made me feel like family when I was far from home.Overall, I would stay there if I had to go home again. I took a while to write this review, but would like to give a special Thank You to Emily and her staff for providing excellent service during a difficult visit for an extended period. Also, even though I didn't use it much, the indoor pool space was very nice. Coming from the land of Hotels (Hawaii), I have to say that I would give many props to the whole staff, even including the Maintenance Man due to their ability to stop for a moment and engage in conversation, which these days is a rare and enjoyable situation. An all around great experience, being so close to Clifton Hill. Plus a Tim Horton's (none in Hawaii) and gas station/mini mart right across the street-great doughnuts and coffee and great Hotel Parking. Thank You all and I hope to stay there anytime I have to come Home! Thank You Emily for providing a small town experience in a place that has turned into a World destination since I left so long ago. Had a fantastic stay here. Room was perfect and clean, all clean linen, we were top floor and end of the hall. It was very quiet and perfect. Hotel is located in the perfect spot. 5 min drive from Clifton hill and the falls. Lady who checked me in was very nice. Will definitely be back again.

Epic FAIL..I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE...SLEEP IN YOUR CAR... But for some reason you wish to sleep on sheets that have not been washed in id randomly guess about two weeks, i travel with a ultra violet light to check on this type of unneccessary exposure to other mens sperm. The washroom still had priors pubic hair ALL over it.. The staff were also very very rude almost confrontational...

Rooms were average in size and clean. The beds were comfortable. The receptionist was courteous and helpful. Actually made our family another pot of coffee later in the day than is normally allowed. The pool was heated and relaxing. Minor issues were that we had to keep reactivating our room cards and the bath towels were quite small. I would stay at this hotel again.

The staff was amazing, respectful, resourceful and professional! They had also compassion (even if it's not part of their job). The bedroom was wheelchair accessible as requested. Heat, refrigerator, vending machines, shared microwave were all functioning well. Also, bed comfortable, very clean. It's been an amazing experience and your staff has a lot to do with it!

The motel was pretty clean but the rooms were very small. I had two bedroom with 2 double beds. They say it’s a queen bed but it’s really a double bed. The motel also have bed bugs i had red spots all over my body. I will never go again. The staff were super nice but it smell like weed in the hallways and lobby. This isn’t a place with family with kids.

The room was clean but had a very strong distinctive pet odor. I brought a pet so I understood and they provided me with air freshener that helped but I think they could do better at eliminating the odor beforehand. There was no hand soap in the bathroom sink. It advertises a 10 to 15-minute walk to the falls and it was actually 20 plus. The service staff were very friendly and accommodating.
