Guests be aware that this place is below Canadian motel standards. Also upon arrival they make you sign that you won't complain about the noise. There is a karaoke place right outside going on until 2am so do not expect that you will sleep. Maybe management should notify guests about the noise during booking. The location is wonderful and the bedding is clean however it needs a major reno. Will not return or recommend.

Clean, good place to stay when going through the attractions (which are a lot) around the area. Really more of a place to stay the night, as there’s a karaoke bar nearby that goes on well into the midnight which I can only assume operates every night. Also since there’s a lot to do during the evening; tire yourself enough to sleep through the outside volume (depending on where your room is).

Pathetic rooms, the karaoke goes on till 2 am so forget that you can sleep, parking is not included and you have to pay extra and even after that you have to wait for a spot to park. Overall stay away and spend few bucks extra and stay at a better place.

We were able to check in at 10:30 am ! Super kind staff waived my $150 deposit in good faith because expidia never informed me of the extra charge . The room was a bit run down .. but clean enough to sleep in There was a weird smell in our room .. almost like there had been a fire in the past or something .. But for 60 bucks a night who can complain . Super SUPER close to everythig ! Walk out of your room and your on clifton hill . Awesome view of the skywheel and exploding volcano .

Great little lodge for a weekend getaway, not overly expensive and is right in the heart of the falls.Laundry on site and less than 20mins from almost anything you'd want too go too, close too bus stops for anything farther, the falls are 10mins walking, plus there's a beer garden and entertainment right on site and a view of the skywheel. It could use an added mini fridge and maybe a single burner or electrical grill but if you're just there for the weekend fast food and an Iced cooler will do. (They provide free ice).

Great place to stay friendly staff clean rooms fantastic entertainment great karaoke. Close to everything.. Not a bad word to say about the Thriftlodge also you have access to the travel lodge's pool.. What more could you ask for

Very poor hotel. Only the best part is location of the hotel, except there is no added benefits to stay here. They even took $15 for parking whole night although I was staying there. I can't believe that parking is not free here. Not only that nothing was good in the hotel starting from room to facilities.

We were promise room with a bar view, did not get that were basically stared at trucks , the balcony where you sit was dripping out ther ceiling , toilet over flowing , people next door took our patio furniture, and they're kids sitting at our window in front of our room, after all this they were at least kind enough to give us a refund for 1 night.. but never again will we stay there

Went in June, stayed 2 nights and never got my security deposit back. We're now in September. Very sad cause I loved the hotel and the location. Would really love to go to this hotel again but now I don't trust the people at the front desk 😕

Rooms were very dirty, didn't sleep under covers ,hair in bathroom sink ... The price was ridiculously high for the quality of the room ..over priced... Good place just to lay your head but nothing spectacular to say ...needs serious TLC.

great location. very vintage. clean. Sept 24 2022...2nd stay. This is the place to be if you are not looking to rest...lol. Great To stay for a couple of nights to enjoy the sites and wind down with some karaoke from the beer garden outside.

It was great, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The karaoke was an added bonus, so close and convenient. Would have been 5 stars but we popped in about 6 PM and asked for a late check out and was told we would have to call the front desk at 7 AM of the day we wanted the late check out. Doesn't make sense to wake early to ask to sleep a little later to check out later????

Hard to figure out where to check in. But I was happy with the room and location. It suited my needs for my weekend. Will consider it again. And the location was great.

Perfect location right in the heart of the falls. The room was spacious and in a perfect spot within the property. The check in and check out process was seamless and the parking on site was affordable and convenient. I didn't mind the karaoke bar at all as we were out of the room for the majority of the time and when we were in the room I didn't really notice the noise. Besides, it's a tourist attraction in a tourist area, some noise is to be expected. We were extremely happy with our stay so much that I didn't even bother to check other properties when I booked our room for our return visit next month.
