Arrived to the room to find looking clean that was a start. When going to the bathroom notice there was a huge crack in the toilet. Was excited when I heard I was upgraded to a river front view room, however when walking out to the balcony to see my view notice 2 large hornet nests so that was comforting. The lock on the door is broken so each time I try to get into my room I basically have to shoulder it to even open. My shower takes forever to get warm so I'm pretty much waiting 10 minutes to even feel slightly warm. Fridge in my room wouldn't even get cold. And to top off all of it the last night of my stay I wanted to go down to the pool and enjoy a swim in the pool however when I went to the pool it was still locked with no staff. Note this was an hour after it said the pool was open. They told me to wait and see, came back an hour later and they said they still don't have anyone to staff the pool. If you have the means to stay somewhere else I would recommend it

This place was good. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The views from the balcony were great and from the grounds. This property is reportedly in transition to an apartment conversion. This said, I understand why there's no money being spent on service and maintenance. There was no maid service at all. The outside pool was green and unusable. My toilet was held down by caulking only and rocked each time you used it. The parking lot was in bad shape, The grounds were overrun with weeds and tall grass. It had the curb appeal of just better than an abandoned building. The property has so much potential but overall it was okay.

Had 30 people stay at the Radisson GI over the holiday weekend for my son's wedding. The hotel is not new but the rooms were clean and the location is great. We had a hospitality room that could comfortably fit 20 so we could all spend time together. The outdoor pool was closed but the indoor pool was open and the kids had fun. Restaurant was open for breakfast but we brought food for our long stay. We brought a large Bunn airport and the kitchen filled it for a fee and cream and sugar was included. We all had a great time and non if the people in the 10 rooms that were occupied by our group had no complaints. Make sure to get your confirmation numbers when reserving your room to avoid confusion. The staff was nice and helpful. Would recommend.

I was excited to stay here because of the views and the close proximity to my family’s house. My husband and I flew in from Texas, we got in super late and were quite disappointed upon arrival. This place is disgusting. Where do I begin… The room was not clean at all. They claim the entire hotel is remodeled, but the wallpaper on the walls of our hotel room were peeling and revealing what looks like mold underneath. There was hair in our bed before I had a chance to even sleep in it. The carpet was dirty/filled with stains. The sheets smelled awful. There was a dirty sock on the floor in our room when we arrived. The AC was so loud it kept me up the entire night. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom… the toilet, sink, floor, bathtub were absolutely atrocious. We were switched to a business king suite on the third floor which was much more cleaner than the first room. Still didn’t sit on the couches in the room as there were brown, raised stains on them. The third floor reeked of cigarette smoke and smelled like a dirty motel. It’s safe to say I won’t be returning. I’m only giving two stars because I relayed my concerns to the hotel staff and Kenya was VERY sweet and accommodating. She wanted to do anything to help make our experience better. It wasn’t her fault that the hotel rooms are disgustingly dirty and smelly.

Disappointing. The door to our room didn’t lock. No shower curtain. Although the view of the water was beautiful, going out to the balconies was a little intimidating since there appeared to be some sort of hornet or wasp nests. The decor was very old. The air conditioning was super loud in both rooms. Despite asking the front desk for a shower curtain, we had to ask another staff member cleaning rooms for a shower curtain. The maintenance staff was super courteous when they came to our room, As was the cleaning staff. Meh. Disappointing but it served its purpose.

The actual room was pretty nice. Other than the toilet constantly running and me constantly having to fix it. The front desk does not ever answer the phone so don't bother calling them. You will find the heavy set manager lady outside chain smoking blowing smoke all over the place Right out front of the hotel. This Lady also has a very smart nasty attitude and I certainly would not want her representing any business that I owned. If it wasn't for her I could probably give a four star

Older hotel..appears to be in stages of remodel, but our room needs a new tub, toilet and flooring. Parking lot is terrible..and the sidewalks and lot are covered in snow. I mean, doesn't it snow like 8 months out of the year here? Plow the damn lot and shovel the sidewalks! The main room is ok, the fridge is too small..no microwave(really Radisson?) carpet needs replaced and room could use painted. We didn't pick this hotel, we were placed here for a hockey tournament. I feel there are other hotels nearby with fully renovated, modern rooms and facilities for less money. The pool is open til 8pm, no hot tub, no cafe, no restaurant or bar (told due to covid) but the mandates were lifted in NY last week. There really isn't anything close by to do and the main choices for food delivery are pizza, which was pretty lackluster and expensive for what it was.

The front desk clerk was very accommodating when we booked 2 beds but ended up in a king suite instead that overlooked the lake. It seemed like a very long drive thru a nice residential area with a golf course to get to the hotel. No restaurants nearby so you better get food ahead of time. One elevator for 6 floors, although there was another elevator that seemed tucked away from view. No microwave in room, but did have fridge. Microwave was available on certain floors for all guests to share. Heard from others the $16 breakfast was not worth it. Nice pool, but full of kids. Hotel seemed understaffed.

I stayed the weekend with my mother in a double room, room #563 but this room was dirty one of the beds had a live cockroach, it was under the blankets, additionally on the pillows there were several small red mosquitoes , when killed they were full of blood. You could tell they hadn't changed the pillowcases in days. The room also had a lot of dust on the lamps and the shower did not provide hot water. The hotel is big and nice but it shows that they do not deep clean the carpets or the air conditioners and this is not the fault of the House Kippers but of the hotel. The rooms are very large and demand a lot of time for your collaborators.

I’m writing this review before I’ve even left because we are over halfway through our stay and I’m certain it won’t improve by the morning. We’ve stayed here in the past and loved it. So I wanted to have a small family getaway for my birthday. Well now I’m looking at the most expensive and useless birthday gift ever. The room was cleaned ok, but the ceiling and flooring in the room are clearly chipping and falling apart. The balconies are abysmal, full of paint chips, rust and water. Took us a day to realize the fridge did not work. The hot tub, which was the THE ONE THING I wanted to do, is broken. I figured the second day maybe I’ll just sit in the hot water. Well it took me a minute or two to see all the particles of god knows what floating around in the water. The breakfast “buffet” was the saddest excuse for a continental breakfast, which costs $17… a person. The hostess was extremely rude because we didn’t have the passes because the front desk neglected to give us them. There are no ice machines and they front doesn’t even have coffee when they claim it is served! The only good thing is the view (which you don’t even get if you get the wrong room) but the hotel doesn’t get any credit for that. Overall, don’t waste your money. We won’t be back.

We came as part of the "stay and play" for the big hockey tournament that the hotel signed up to be a part of. Yet, knowing they have over 50 young boys staying from around 8-12 years old they were not accommodating at all to the teams. They doubled the cost of our rooms for the tournament and then wouldn't open the arcade and the lounge was closed. Permission was given for the kids to have team meetings and pizza in the lounge area, but then the owner showed up and tried to kick them out. Just sad that they signed up to be a part of the hockey tournament "stay and play" yet did not want to accommodate the families with lots of hockey playing kids. And to the lady who left a recent review about kids running up and down the halls and knocking on doors and such - they should have told you there were hockey tournaments going on and to expect this....they didn't even tell you that during your review feedback. We won't be going back there. I don't know how to respond to the Radisson's response - but it did nothing but give me a "canned response". No explanation as to why the hotel would sign up to be a part of this "stay and play" and yet not be accommodating at all to the team and the families. No explanation on raising the rates, closing the arcade, not making the lounge area available...and not telling your other guests that aren't a part of the hockey tournament that it was going on. Bad response Radisson. You should do better.

I am literally here right now typing. There are kids running up and down the hall screaming and knocking on doors all afternoon and evening. I called the front desk twice to do something about it and literally had to go ask them to keep it down, myself. Seems nobody is listening. They keep screaming and being loud. My stay has been perfect until this evening. They just checked in and I'm hoping they leave soon. The hallways aren't meant to be a kids playground because parents don't want to deal with them.

The rooms are clean and modern. The beds were well made and very firmly tucked. There were plenty of lounging areas, one with a fireplace with an actual fire. Near that there was a large glass viewing area to watch the swimming pool. The pool was well maintained. I could see an outdoor swimming pool just beyond for the warmer months.

We enjoyed our stay at this place for 2 nights. Everything was perfect, the location, ambience of the hotel and the room was excellent. The receptionists were very welcoming and the check-in was quick. Would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Niagara falls ,as it is only 20 minutes from the hotel.

Poor room for a three star tagged hotel. Room flooring is bad. Toilet is all rusty. Very old bath tub. Cracked toilet floor. Broken faucet. Mosquitoes in the room. Terrible refrigerator, no microwave.

We had a great night at your hotel. Thanks! Cute decorations for Christmas. Our room was just fine ... #652. Pet friendly with reasonable pet rates. Clean and comfortable. We paid for the river view and loved it!

I read reviews prior to staying at the Radisson Hotel Niagara Falls on Grand Island and was very anxious about my stay due to the negative reviews. We stayed one night on a Saturday into Sunday and had the king room with a view of niagara river! Check in was very easy, the staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful, I had read reviews stating that the staff was unfriendly however, this was not the case at all. Due to the pandemic the restaurant and cafe were closed, however that was not a problem, there are tons of awesome restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc on grand island! The room was clean and I felt very comfortable! (this was my biggest concern due to negative reviews and that this was my first time staying at a hotel since the pandemic) Again, we only stayed one night. However, I was very happy with our stay, the staff, the price and the room! I would recommend to anyone looking to stay a weekend in Niagara falls!

We had a very peaceful wonderful Christmas trip ever at this hotel. It was quiet which was perfect. Very spacious free parking, room with river view and balcony(I chose this room but didn’t expect it was so nice on top floor!!) and pet fee was reasonable($25 per night, it’s nothing compare to many places). I recommend this hotel who are traveling with your family member pet and want to visit Niagara Falls. It is only 20 min. drive and it is easy road. Thank you for the hotel staff who made our Christmas a great memory at your hotel.

I had an exquisite time! Upon arrival, the system had accidentally booked us in the same room as another couple, but the folks at the desk immediately rectified and upgraded us to a beautiful jacuzzi suite. Wonderful service, great location, wonderful hotel. Will definitely stay again! Thank you, Grand Island Radisson!

Stayed here for one night while visiting the falls. Room was good for what we paid for it. My husband left his hat at the hotel and was upset he wouldn’t get it back. I called the hotel once I realized we left it in our room and housekeeping called us the next day and let us know they found the hat and will ship it back. It was nice of them to do that and return our call so quickly!

Place is over grown with weeds and the grass hasn't been cut in weeks. Really looks terrible. They told me on the phone when I made reservations that they had a complimentary breakfast and it was a lie. They will sale you a 16.00 breakfast. The staff was great but there's not many of them. My room was clean but the sliding glass door windows were filthy and watch out for the bees nest on the balcony of room 520. The whole island is kinda desolate with not many places to eat and the restaurant at the hotel wasn't even open.
