We stayed at the South Landing Inn a few weeks ago and it was so lovely! The attention to detail is incredible and everything was very clean. Our stay came with a small complementary breakfast that was delicious. We will definitely be back!

Cozy, clean and delightful! A relaxed inn-like atmosphere with a touch of old world charm. The bedding was impeccable and the gourmet breakfast was exactly that, with homemade jam, muffins, scones, smoked salmon, quiche, … something for everyone. A rustic old style inn, upon entering to view modern amenities, cleanest of all other experiences I’ve had. We will surely return!

What a lovely little Inn in a hidaway little village, just steps to the water (great fishing, being your rod). This area is away from all the bussle of anything, very pictureque. The Inn is simple, clean, big rooms and my favourite thing of all.....no carpeting !! The end rooms have huge balconies where there is a loveseat and chair. If you hate crowds and love peace this is the place for you.

I could just stay in this charming and quiet place for days without going anywhere as this historic Inn meets all my expectations for a getaway. 6 of us are the only guest family here, the whole house is basically ours. We spent the night in the living room, reading, chatting, and playing games. What a privileged experience at Christmas time. The suite is spacious with two full size washrooms, and the beddings are extremely clean and comfortable. I will definitely come back and stay longer!

Our room was very comfortable and surprisingly roomy. Very much a look after yourself kind of place. When the staff learned I liked croissants during booking, they ensured the chef made some for the serve yourself breakfast. They were delicious. The interior furnishing in the common areas is unique with many period antiques from the days when Queenston was a destination for tour boats from Toronto. It was very uncluttered but thoughtfully organized. We quite enjoyed our stay there.

This is exactly the kind of intimate, beautifully curated and warmly hospitable getaway I absolutely love. It was such an amazing milieu for the writing retreat that I attended there. I fully intend to recommend your inn to anyone we know visiting the area, and their sister accommodations at The Kent are lovely as well.

Right near the river and tonnes of walking trails, this is a gorgeous little inn, with lots of history, and wonderful helpful staff. The breakfast is delicious - best gluten free bagels I've ever had - and they accommodate all dietary issues. Location gets 5 stars if you have access to a vehicle (I didn't so had to rely on others and Uber). I was here for a writing retreat and it was perfect.

Absolutely lovely Inn!! It was everything we could have asked for. We actually chose to stay an extra night here. It was my husband and I and our 4 kids (15yrs, 13yr, 10yr, 7yr) traveling from MN. Our kids even loved it. The decor was in good taste and very appropriate for this historic building. It's cozy yet clean and bright. Our room had all we needed, was clean, crisp and welcoming. I couldn't love this place more. The breakfast/ tea bar was so fantastic, it had all we could have needed. The breakfast was so good. Our kids, also, really enjoyed the breakfast options. Yvonne was great and helped make our stay perfect!! Thank you again!!

Very relaxing little place. They have breakfast every morning and coffee. Close to everything. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows too.

My wife and I just stayed here for the first time. It was for her birthday and a place we’ve wanted to stay at for a while. They changed our room to a better room (thanks to those that canceled) so we had a view of the escarpment and the Niagara river. They had a little box of chocolate on the table in the room with a “Happy Birthday” note on it. It’s a great historical place to stay and I can’t wait to return.

My husband and I stay in the Niagara area quite frequently. This was our first time staying at the South Landing Inn and it was the best experience we’ve had yet! The location and area is beautiful, the inn is super clean and quiet, everything was great right down to the tub size and water pressure in the shower. They even left me a little birthday surprise in our room! The staff were also super friendly! We wouldn’t change anything about our stay and we will continue to use this location as our go to on our regular trips to the area. Thank You South Landing Inn!

We rented out South Landing Inn for our wedding so that our family could all stay together. Yvonne was such a pleasure to work with leading up to the big weekend, and answered all of our questions promptly. Matthew and Candace were on site throughout the weekend and were incredibly helpful and welcoming during our stay. We had so many compliments from our guests about the choice of venue, and how beautiful the rooms were. We also hosted a wine and cheese welcome party during our stay, and the space was just perfect. I would highly recommend a stay here, whether you're a large group or looking for a romantic weekend away. It's a beautiful building with updated rooms and tons of amenities. We will definitely be back for our anniversary!

The Inn was just wonderful. Quaint and quiet exactly what we needed after our long drive. The staff was kind and welcoming. It's a beautiful place and only about 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Niagara on the Lake and close to many of the wineries. Our stay included a Continental breakfast which was outstanding and home made by a pastry chef. See attached pictures. They also had separate bags of delicious snacks. If you're looking for a relaxing quiet place, I highly recommend this.

The Inn was nestled in a beautiful forested area and recently renovated with clean rooms and really comfortable beds - far enough away to enjoy a tranquil setting but conveniently situated minutes from wineries, Niagara Falls and the U.S. border. Really care about their customers. Will not disappoint!

Stunning historic inn by the Niagara River. The interior dĂŠcor is incredible with stunning furnishings that add to the charm of the inn. Our room was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning. Great location to explore Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake from!

We had the most lovely NOTL weekend getaway at The South Landing Inn. The building's antique decor was stunning and cozy and everything made it feel like home away from home. As well the continental breakfast was super tasty and beautifully displayed. On top of all that, there is great easy access to the waterfront trail. All in all, I highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely wonderful In to stay at of you are looking for a quiet, more intimate experience. The rooms are spacious and lovingly decorated to enhance the age of the building but does not feel old at all. Check in is a breeze, breakfast is wonderful ( I'll always have a special place in my heart for their housemate croissants) and the staff are just absolutely out of this world. Lovely views from the rooms and the river is less than 3 mins away for a perfect walk. Really could not ask for better.

Our party of three ladies were celebrating a milestone birthday. I booked the Riverview Suite and we arrived hot, disheveled and hungry late in the afternoon. Our host, general manager Matthew, received us cordially and proceeded to give us a tour of the Inn. Including its history, where the snacks and drinks were located, and the keys to allow us access and egress. Part of the charm of this very charming establishment is that it is not your typical inn or hotel. It is delightfully quirky. We had a private staircase to get to our aerie-level suite, which was a fabulous space with a king and two queen-sized beds, two bathrooms, kitchenette, livingroom and balcony. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable. Exactly what we needed. We enjoyed the quiet nights and cool evening air, only a 10 minute drive from Niagara on the Lake. Breakfast was included in the room rate. It was simple but tasty, nutritious and filling. Our stay was only for two days, but it was memorable for many reasons; among them the charming and welcoming staff and the venue itself at this location. Highly recommended if you like to be off the beaten trail a bit! We will be back!
