My wife and I both took jobs near Upstate Hospital and being unfamiliar with Syracuse wanted to be somewhere close and as safe as possible. During our time at Icon we never had an issue within the building. The building is very dog friendly and there are plenty of other dog owners within Icon Tower and surrounding buildings which tend to meet up and socialize at the park right next door. Gregg is the direct contact with issues around the building and he is a fantastic guy. I called him after his shift and left a voicemail last spring when the grill starter wouldn't work and he told me how to swap the battery so our grilled chicken dinner was saved. This was well after his shift was over. He really does care about the people in the building. Marion is the direct contact with billing and lease. She is also wonderful. We had to break our lease early and there ended up being a clerical error which she did not penalize us for when it was found. We really loved our apartment and the people in the building. If we were still in Syracuse we would definitely still be living there. My wife worked nights at Upstate and never had an issue sleeping during the day with noise. (We were 8th floor). The biggest positives with Icon Tower are the other tenants, the remarkably low cost for utilities, large dog friendly, location, in unit laundry, beautiful and quiet apartments, free workout facility, and the staff. To be fair the biggest potential upgrade would be the mail situation. The mail room is more of a drop zone and although it is not Icon's fault it can be very difficult to find packages especially during holidays if the delivery person is lazy and doesn't sort the packages to the shelves. Despite this open area I have to add that we never had a stolen package in our almost two years at Icon. One package went missing and from what we can tell it was a delivery error. We had multiple packages a week every week.

My husband and I have lived at Icon Tower for 5 years and were very happy with our time there. The apartment (2 Bed/2 Bath) we lived in was very spacious, brought in tons of natural light and was very comfortable. The building is in a perfect downtown location next to shops, cafes and restaurants. In those 5 years we were very well taken care of by Gregg. Gregg is always there to help with anything you need. They have an easy to use portal to submit any help or repairs needed. Gregg is very responsive and is such a kind soul. He truly wants the best for you. Erica worked with us to have an indoor parking spot which was a game changer. Erica is so sweet and very responsive and helpful for all our needs over the years. The rooftop is nice and great place to enjoy a BBQ or watch the fireworks on the 4th of July. They also have a room next to the rooftop as a space for anyone to entertain or hang out. This is great as we have hosted events in that room such as our baby shower. The building is safe and comfortable and I highly recommend this building to anyone who will be working at the hospital or in the city.

I lived in Icon Tower for 4 years in two different apartments. Both were beautiful updated places and the building is in a great location near many bars and restaurants. The management staff are great and quick to resolve any issues that arise. Greg and Erica are personable and easy to talk to about anything. The building is well maintained, with spotless trash rooms on every floor. Additionally, the roof was just renovated, making it a great place to relax, gather, and enjoy the sunset. Icon also offers affordable โ€œhotelโ€ like apartments in the building available for reservations for tenants who have family or friends coming in from out of town. I took advantage of this perk multiple times and it was so convenient! Icon tower is a great place to live and offers anything youโ€™ll ever need for the โ€œdowntown experience,โ€ I highly recommend!

For the last 5 years, I lived in Syracuse and rented from Icon Towers. I have nothing but good things to say regarding my experience there. The location is PERFECT; it is walking distance from all the downtown destinations, a short ways from the highway on ramp, and even has a stellar restaurant on the basement floor. I was most impressed with how courteous and helpful the management team was; Gregg Smith and Erica Shehadi were the stars of the show. Gregg is the building manager and is available (literally) whenever I needed him. He is willing to go out of his way to help with anything, and I mean ANYTHING. On one occasion, he even helped my wife and me get a reservation at a popular new restaurant, even though they were booked for weeks. I could go on and on about my experience living there. Would choose them 100% of the time to rent from again if I find myself back in Syracuse!

My husband and I lived here when we first moved to Syracuse to live right in Downtown. Icon has all the amenities of a luxury apartment building, is easily walkable to many good restaurants and right around the corner from the Landmark Theatre, and as an added bonus is more quiet than most of the other downtown buildings because it's away from the noise of Salina Street. Erica (the building manager) and Gregg (the building super) were very friendly and welcoming and easy to reach for anything. It was a great building to live in!

A really excellent rental experience. I rented a 2 BR for 2 years from 2021-2023 and was completely happy here. Things I liked: the location, the building itself, and (most importantly) the people I dealt with. TL;DR : rent here if you can. Location: it's close enough to e.g. Salt City market, Clinton Square, and at least 3 great coffee shops. Five minute walk at most. And it's far enough so that it is quiet at night. Optimal, as they say. Building: it is a refurb office building to which the owners/managers paid a great deal of attention and cash to do it right. Things you can see: the place is just nice: well designed and well maintained. Things you can't see: they spent lots up front on the HVAC to ensure good air flow (think COVID mitigation), the in-unit washer-dryers are top quality with top line plumbing (think reliability). If problems arise, they get fixed pronto. So first rate design and maintenance. People: the best for last. I dealt mostly with Erica and Gregg who are great people. Smart, nice, effective, communicative. Any questions or issues were simply addressed and fixed. These guys were always available and always helpful. Kudos to them for making my stay a real pleasure. Summary: This is a first rate rental experience, just excellent value for the rent paid. If you can get a unit here, grab it. Unreservedly recommend.

Me and my wife moved from Canada to Syracuse 2 years back and Icon tower was the first place we started renting. It was the best decision we ever made. The building superintendent Gregg and Erica were awesome and was the reason living at icon was very enjoyable. Gregg and Erica helped us settle into our new life in and out of icon tower and was always available to help and answer any questions. Gregg pretty much takes care of everything, repairs, moves, inspections, you name it. He is very handy and a good friend to have. Even during our move out, was a pleasant experience and definitely will miss this place. Icon would not be the same without them.
